Chapter 46: Chapter 46: Please, Let Yun Feng Stop!
The sound of bones breaking echoed faintly amidst the chaos.
Aside from Xiao Wu, no one present had ever witnessed such brutality. Yun Feng was beating Dai Mubai to a pulp, his attacks relentless and unforgiving.
Seeing this, Ning Rongrong, who had been fuming with rage moments ago, felt her anger dissipate. After all, she wasn't inherently cruel—once her temper had vented, her usual kinder self emerged.
As Ning Rongrong sat there in a daze, Oscar, who had been lying exhausted on the ground after his grueling punishment from Flender, finally managed to stand. Despite his trembling legs, he noticed his brother was on the verge of death.
Without hesitation, he stumbled toward Ning Rongrong and knelt before her.
"Please, I beg you! Tell Yun Feng to stop!" Oscar pleaded, tears streaming down his face. "If this continues, Dai Mubai will die! He's really going to die!"
Yun Feng had deliberately made his actions loud and dramatic to ensure Ning Rongrong noticed. Despite the intensity of his attacks, he had been careful, aiming to inflict maximum pain without causing fatal injuries.
Still, Dai Mubai's condition looked grim. His bones seemed fractured in multiple places, and his body hung limply like a rag doll. Yun Feng resembled an unstoppable force of nature, a human embodiment of a raging dragon.
Seeing Oscar's desperate pleas and hearing Dai Mubai's moans of agony, Ning Rongrong hesitated. When Yun Feng lifted Dai Mubai high above his head, seemingly ready to deliver the final blow, she shouted.
"Yun Feng, that's enough! Stop!"
Hearing her voice, Yun Feng smiled faintly. He carried Dai Mubai's limp body over to her and gently placed him down.
Ning Rongrong froze, unsure of what to say as she looked into Yun Feng's blood-splattered face. His expression was calm, but his aura radiated overwhelming dominance.
"What's wrong, Rongrong?" Yun Feng asked with a hint of amusement. "Didn't you want me to kill him? I've already offended the Star Luo Empire for you. I might as well finish the job and save myself the trouble later."
His words left Ning Rongrong feeling conflicted. While she felt Dai Mubai deserved punishment, Yun Feng's words reminded her of the gravity of the situation.
Instead of answering Yun Feng, she turned to Dai Mubai, who lay on the ground, bloodied and barely conscious.
"How about now? Have you come to your senses?" she asked coldly. "I tried to comfort you out of kindness, but you chose to insult and attack me. Do you still think I'm someone you can bully?"
Dai Mubai's consciousness flickered in and out. His body, overwhelmed by pain, alternated between fainting and jolting awake. Through broken teeth and a swollen jaw, he mumbled.
"I'm sorry… I was wrong… I… won't do it again…"
Hearing his muffled apology, Ning Rongrong finally felt appeased.
"Yun Feng, thank you," she said with a smile. "If it weren't for you, I wouldn't know how to handle this. Don't worry—everything I promised you, I'll keep my word."
"Since he's admitted defeat, let's spare him. I doubt he'll dare to act out in front of me again."
Yun Feng chuckled, casually tossing Dai Mubai's limp body to the ground.
"To be honest, I helped not just because of your promise. His temper is something I can't stand either."
Ning Rongrong's smile brightened. For once, someone understood her.
However, Dai Mubai's groans of pain disrupted the moment. Feeling annoyed, Ning Rongrong pulled out a small pouch and handed it to Oscar.
"You're his brother, right?" she said. "If his injuries aren't treated soon, he might end up crippled. Take this money and get him to Soto City for treatment."
Oscar, though exhausted himself, didn't hesitate. He gritted his teeth, picked up Dai Mubai's battered body, and began the long, slow trek to Soto City.
Watching him leave, Yun Feng commented, "For someone who's a bit of a lecher, he's got a good heart. This kind of brotherhood is rare."
Xiao Wu and Ning Rongrong nodded in agreement. Oscar's loyalty and dedication were indeed commendable.
Meanwhile, Tang San had quietly faded into the background, keeping his presence as minimal as possible. Watching Yun Feng's display of power, he couldn't help but feel a growing sense of inadequacy.
Tang San's progress had been painfully slow. Frustrated, he had poured his efforts into creating and refining hidden weapons, hoping they would give him an edge.
But after witnessing Yun Feng's sheer dominance, he began to doubt whether his hidden weapons could even compare.
This… is what true strength looks like, he thought. Maybe I need to focus more on developing my martial soul. I hope Teacher Yu Xiaogang has some solutions when he arrives… I can't keep going on like this.
---
The next morning, Yun Feng awoke from his meditation. His routine of practicing the Blood Tribulation Method at dawn had become second nature to him.
However, he didn't push too hard today. Dai Mubai's injuries weren't stable, and Yun Feng didn't want to accidentally kill him while drawing energy from the Heaven Suppression Monument.
At the Soto City clinic, Oscar was tending to Dai Mubai, who lay wrapped in bandages from head to toe.
Seeing his friend in such a state sent chills down Oscar's spine. Yun Feng's power was terrifying, leaving a lasting impression on him.
As Oscar replaced Dai Mubai's dressings, the injured prince suddenly stirred, letting out a low moan of pain.
"Dai Mubai? Are you awake?" Oscar leaned closer, worried.
Before he could say more, Dai Mubai's bloodshot eyes snapped open. With a sudden burst of soul power, he lunged forward and bit down on Oscar's arm.
Without teeth, Dai Mubai could only suck on the wound, but the sight was horrifying.
Stunned, Oscar froze. He wanted to pull away, but seeing Dai Mubai's pitiful state, he sighed.
"Dai Mubai, I'm not into this kind of thing, you know. If it weren't for your injuries, I'd never let you do someth
ing so… intimate."
Oscar's voice was filled with a mix of frustration and resignation.
