Douluo: Becoming a God by Relying on my Enemies

Chapter 11: Chapter 11: Fine, I'll Accept Yun Feng's Generosity

Yun Feng wasn't the type to seek unnecessary trouble, so he found this development quite favorable. Fewer conflicts meant more peace of mind for cultivating.

After obtaining his first spirit skill, Yun Feng's spirit power had already reached an impressive Level 13. To maintain this momentum, exploiting Tang Hao, Tang San, and Yu Xiaogang was inevitable.

As Yun Feng finished his meal and prepared to leave, Xiao Wu entered the cafeteria with a large group of people. Spotting Yun Feng, she motioned for her group to follow her to approach him.

However, a tall and sturdy boy behind her, Wang Sheng, the former leader of the Seventh Dormitory, quickly stopped her.

"Sister Xiao Wu, the second floor is for à la carte dining. It's really expensive; we can't afford it," Wang Sheng said.

This comment immediately made Xiao Wu pause. She had initially intended to approach Yun Feng and thank him for the money he gave her earlier, avoiding any awkwardness back at the dormitory. But hearing that the second floor was a high-cost area, she instinctively reached into her pocket and squeezed the few remaining soul coins left after buying her bedding.

Yun Feng, noticing Xiao Wu's predicament, guessed that she had already subdued the Seventh Dormitory members and assumed leadership. However, as their new leader, she now faced the awkward reality of not being able to afford a decent meal, which likely hurt her pride as a newly transformed little girl.

After a brief moment of thought, Yun Feng called out from above, "Is that Xiao Wu? Are you all coming up to eat? My treat!"

This statement stunned not only Wang Sheng and the others but also Xiao Chenyu and his group sitting beside Yun Feng. Xiao Chenyu and his lackeys frowned. The academy had long been divided into cliques, with animosity between the factions being the norm. Yun Feng's sudden invitation to the other group left them feeling uneasy.

However, recalling Yun Feng's extraordinary talent and their families' admonitions to stay on his good side, they kept their discontent to themselves.

Wang Sheng, on the other hand, immediately suspected a trap. The noble students had played such tricks before. But when he saw the familiarity between Xiao Wu and Yun Feng, he hesitated.

Xiao Wu, true to her character, didn't overthink it. She asked bluntly, "There are a lot of us. Are you sure it's okay?"

Yun Feng chuckled at her straightforwardness. He had expected Xiao Wu to accept without hesitation, given her carefree nature. Her consideration surprised him, though he attributed this change to Tang San's influence.

"Of course, it's fine. Right, Xiao Chenyu?" Yun Feng replied with a smile.

Despite their reluctance, Xiao Chenyu and his group nodded in agreement. "If Big Brother says so, they can join us. I'll cover the cost," Xiao Chenyu offered, his tone forced but polite.

Yun Feng smiled and replied, "Thank you, then!"

With Yun Feng's and Xiao Chenyu's approval, Xiao Wu beamed and waved her group to follow her upstairs.

Meanwhile, Tang San, who had stayed behind, drew Xiao Wu's puzzled gaze.

"Tang San, what are you doing down there? Come on up!" she called.

Tang San's expression soured as he looked at Yun Feng. Back in their village, he had dismissed Yun Feng as insignificant, someone unworthy of his attention. But now, seeing Yun Feng's rapid rise in power and status left Tang San feeling unbalanced and bitter.

"I won't go to the second floor. I don't need anyone's charity," Tang San replied stiffly.

This statement, though perhaps unintentional, implied that accepting Yun Feng's hospitality was akin to begging. It left not only Xiao Wu but also the Seventh Dormitory members in an awkward silence.

At the same time, it gave others a sense of discomfort toward Tang San.

Did his brain regress along with his reincarnation? Yun Feng wondered incredulously.

While Yun Feng understood Tang San's upbringing as an orphan raised in a rigid assassin sect, it didn't excuse such behavior. No emotional intelligence at all, Yun Feng concluded.

Before the situation could escalate further, Yu Xiaogang entered the cafeteria. Tang San quickly approached him.

"Teacher, are you here for lunch too?" Tang San asked respectfully.

Yu Xiaogang nodded slightly and replied, "Have you settled your things?"

"Yes, thank you for the bedding," Tang San said with gratitude.

Yu Xiaogang smiled and patted Tang San's shoulder. "Let's head to the second floor for lunch, then I'll take you to familiarize yourself with my place."

Without hesitation, Tang San agreed, following Yu Xiaogang upstairs. Upon reaching the second floor, he saw Xiao Wu and asked, "Sister Xiao Wu, would you like to join my teacher and me for lunch?"

Xiao Wu, despite her young appearance, had enough sense to recognize something was off. She declined politely, "No thanks, I'll stick with Yun Feng's generosity."

Without sparing Tang San another glance, she walked directly toward Yun Feng's table.

Tang San's feelings for Xiao Wu at this point weren't romantic but possessive. Seeing someone else garner her attention ignited a childish jealousy.

If I can't have her, neither can Yun Feng.

Observing Tang San's change in demeanor, Yun Feng quickly deduced the cause: the Ghost Fiend Blood Tribulation Technique. Its side effects had likely begun affecting Tang San's psyche.

As Xiao Wu ignored Tang San and joined Yun Feng, Tang San's face darkened. Without saying a word, he turned and followed Yu Xiaogang to another table.

Seeing this, Wang Sheng couldn't help but comment, "Who'd have thought anyone would actually take that 'Master' as a teacher?"

Curious, Xiao Wu, new to the academy, asked, "What's wrong with this Master?"
