The next day, the morning sun streamed through the window, warming the bed. Ma Xiaotao was the first to wake up, revealing her beautiful red phoenix eyes. Upon opening her eyes, she found herself gazing at Chen Feng's exceptionally handsome face.
Ma Xiaotao stared at him, momentarily lost in thought. Ma Xiaotao responded, "Yes, come on in!"
"Chen Feng, are you here? I'm the academy's nutritionist."
Realizing it was someone sent by the academy to provide him with special meals, Chen Feng called out, "Come in."
The door creaked open to reveal a striking middle-aged woman, about thirty, who wore a chef's hat and a long white coat, holding a soul guide lunchbox.
With a warm smile, she said, "Hello, my name is Lu Xiaoxiao, the academy's head nutritionist. I'll be responsible for your meals from now on. It's essential to follow my instructions closely. I specialize in pairing various valuable herbs and ingredients. Different top-quality ingredients need to be consumed at specific temperatures, and if multiple high-grade ingredients are involved, they have to be eaten in a particular order; otherwise, the nutrition may clash."
Chen Feng smiled back at her, appreciating the seriousness with which the academy was treating him.
Beside him, Ma Xiaotao scoffed, "Then hurry up with the instructions. Chen Feng's time is precious, hmph."
After about fifteen minutes and once Chen Feng finished eating his nutritious meal, he noticed the nutritionist looking quite upset as she left in a huff due to Ma Xiaotao's attitude. Chen Feng didn't mind; after all, she was just a nutritionist and not significant to the higher-ups at Shrek Academy.
Once Chen Feng was done eating, Ma Xiaotao announced, "You've finished, but I haven't eaten yet. Let's head to the cafeteria."
With that, she linked her arm with Chen Feng's and they walked out of the room together toward the cafeteria, taking a charming little path.
Just behind them, Ling Luocheng watched the affectionate pair, her eyes widening in surprise.
