Chapter 12: Irisviel Von Einzbern!
The Einzbern family's castle was located deep in the forests of southwest Bavaria, Germany. Surrounding the castle was a dense, enchanted forest, with concealed and exploratory barriers. Without proper guidance, even magi would find it difficult to approach this place.
In recent years, very few people had come to visit the Einzbern castle, but today, a guest was being welcomed.
The head of the Einzbern family, Jubstacheit von Einzbern, had arrived early in the castle's garden, waiting for the arrival of someone.
Bam — A flash of white light appeared in the air above the garden and descended in an instant.
Crash — The white light struck the ground, causing the floor to crack. The surrounding castle seemed to experience a mild tremor.
Cheit's pupils slightly contracted. The power was truly terrifying. He had participated in the third Holy Grail War, so with his knowledge, he could naturally tell that this kind of power was far greater than that of most Servants.
If Rizel had known Cheit's thoughts at this moment, he would probably have scoffed. Servants? What were Servants to him? Even if he had to face a few Grand Servants, he would not break a sweat.
Right now, the only one who could slightly compete with him were the Ultimate Ones.
Cheit saw a figure emerge from the mist, a man with messy black hair and strikingly beautiful, youthful eyes.
"Welcome, Lord Rizel," Cheit said, placing one hand in front of himself and bowing slightly.
He dared not show any disrespect in front of Rizel, not to mention Rizel's relationship with Hōseki Okina.
Cheit also knew that half a year ago, when the brilliant light had erupted, and that immense, almost cosmic energy had been released, it was Rizel. He understood that the victory of the Holy Grail War would definitely belong to Rizel.
In his heart, Cheit was certain that the Third Magic would surely be revived.
"Alright, Cheit, let's get straight to the point. I want to resurrect the Third Magic. You will cooperate with me, and from now on, the entire Einzbern family will obey my command."
"Yes! From now on, you will be the sole head of the Einzbern family. The entire Einzbern family will obey your commands," Cheit said as he adjusted the control pillars and issued orders.
The entire Einzbern family of artificial homunculus would now follow Rizel's directives.
"Now, there's something else I need to discuss with you. The last time, when you summoned Angry Mango– Er… I mean Angra Mainyu during the Holy Grail War, it contaminated the Holy Grail. Because of that, even if you hold the Holy Grail, you might not be able to perform the Third Magic," Rizel said, directly addressing the issue.
"How could that be...?" Cheit muttered, somewhat disbelieving.
"Is there no way to fix this?" Cheit cautiously asked. Since Rizel had brought it up, he was certain that Rizel had a solution.
Rizel smirked, "Of course, and I have many methods. I can either recreate the Holy Grail myself, or purify the current one."
Rizel spoke with confidence, knowing that with his vast array of magical powers, he could master any technique in the world. Creating the Holy Grail was no difficult task for him.
Furthermore, Rizel possessed the ability to absorb energy. It was a form of superpower that allowed him to absorb starlight and radioactive energy. After enhancing this ability, Rizel could absorb any type of energy, not just starlight and radiation.
So, the Holy Grail is contaminated? The world's evil? He could simply absorb it and be done with it. As for being corrupted by the world's evil? Impossible. His very essence couldn't be assimilated by it, and he wasn't worried about such a small threat.
When Cheit heard that Rizel could recreate the Holy Grail, he was in awe, not focusing on the purification aspect. He marveled, "This... Can you really do something like that?"
While expressing awe and admiration, Cheit thought to himself. He felt incredibly lucky to have managed to bring Rizel to the Einzbern family.
"Stop wasting time talking about this now. Take me to see Irisviel," Rizel waved his hand dismissively, eager to meet the beautiful lady. After all, she was now his wife, not someone else's. Thinking about it, he felt a little excited.
"Yes, Lord Rizel," Cheit responded respectfully and led Rizel into the castle.
Entering Irisviel's room, Rizel opened the door and immediately saw the young woman sitting by the window.
She had long silver-white hair, as white as snow, and a face as exquisite as a porcelain doll. Her ruby-colored eyes gleamed brightly, and she appeared to be a goddess of the mortal world.
Rizel stared at Irisviel, who looked like an ethereal being, for a few seconds, dumbfounded.
Cheit quietly observed Rizel's reaction before speaking to Irisviel, "Irisviel, come greet your new master, Lord Rizel, and also your husband."
At that moment, Irisviel noticed someone had entered. "I'm sorry for the rudeness, Lord Rizel. I am Irisviel."
Her voice was sweet, but the emptiness in her gaze made it seem as though she wasn't fully present in this world. She looked like a delicate, lifelike doll rather than a real person.
Rizel frowned as he looked at the young woman's vacant expression. He couldn't help but feel pity. The Holy Grail, a tool of fate, had reduced this young woman to a mere instrument.
"Ah, Cheit," Rizel spoke, "I really want to teach you some lessons right now."
Cheit remained silent, beads of sweat forming on his forehead.
Irisviel gazed into Rizel's eyes, and from the way he looked at her, she sensed a different kind of emotion. However, she couldn't understand what it was; all she knew was that she wanted more… more of it. So, she reached out her hand toward Rizel.
Seeing Irisviel extend her hand, Rizel took it, gently holding her delicate, white-as-snow hand. It was soft and smooth, like jade.
"Lord Rizel, I…" Irisviel suddenly realized that it was very rude to directly contact the master. She quickly withdrew her hand.
But even as she pulled away, she felt a sense of emptiness, as if something was missing, and she couldn't help but feel reluctant.
Seeing Irisviel like this, Rizel understood, smiling lightly.
"You don't need to call me Lord Rizel, just call me Zel or husband, after all, I am your husband."
Then, he directly pulled Irisviel into his embrace.
Cheit, understanding the situation, left the room early. After all, he was afraid Rizel might suddenly become violent and take it out on him.
Irisviel felt Rizel's warm embrace, which made her feel very secure, and a strong, intense desire to never be separated from him arose in her heart.
Even though she knew why she was created.
The artificial heart, from the moment it opened its eyes, was immediately filled by another person.
"Husband? What's that?" Irisviel asked in confusion.
"Do you want to know?" Rizel stroked Irisviel's head.
"Yes. Can Zel tell me?"
"Alright, I'll teach you. And I will protect you, Irisviel," Rizel said sincerely.
He kissed her forehead.
Irisviel didn't understand Rizel's action and curiously asked, "Zel, what was that just now?"
"That was a kiss, a gesture of affection for someone you love," Rizel smiled and said.
Irisviel looked at Rizel's smiling face, "Zel, you're really handsome, but I don't understand."
"It's okay, I'll teach you everything. I'll be with you for life and teach you," Rizel replied.
