Chapter 137: Ch 137: The Ballad of Billy and Joe

Like two cowboys in a western movie,

Staring at each other.

They locked their eyes, ready to fight,

Setting up to fight one another.

The classroom became a battle ground,

Joe spat first, his boots kicked the sand

Billy cracked his knuckles,

Taking a firm stand.

Guns didn't shoot, but fists sure flew,

In there first encounter, tension was new.

Blood on their lips, dirt on their bodies,

At-least as kids they had fantastic stories.

The fight was over so was their rivalry,

Creating a bond bound by soul and heart.

They became brothers in arms,

Renewing their friendship with a fresh start.
