Dominant of Odin in Tower of God

Chapter 3: Chapter 3

Yuri had rushed back here from the middle area ever since she got the intel that a second Irregular had apparently appeared.

No matter how unbelievable this information was, since she was already there, she naturally had to at least check it out and in the end, the information proved to be correct.

On Headon's floor she found a golden armored man holding a strange sword.

She had already broken rules once by coming here to see Bam, so she felt it would not be a big deal to come out again to greet and make a cool impression on this new Irregular as well.

However, after looking at him for a few moments, her friendly and nonchalant expression turned to one of joyous surprise.

'WOW, he is actually pretty tall!!' Yuri's eyes widened as she stared at the golden armor man, who looked back at her with curiosity. She instantly felt that it was worth coming here!

Looking at Yuri from the side, Headon swirled his staff and said, "Lady Yuri, you're back. Did you perhaps forget something?"

Yuri glanced at Headon and said coolly, "Headon… I suppose I did. Anyway, is this guy really a second Irregular?"

"... Well, if you cannot feel the peculiar aura around him, I feel that you should at least know, Lady Yuri, that only Irregulars, or incredibly foolish people, would break into my floor by force," Headon replied nonchalantly.

Yuri slightly frowned. 'This rabbit, what's with this passive-aggressive tone?... Well, he shouldn't be trying to kill me, though.'

After thinking for a moment, Yuri looked back at the golden warrior. She smiled in a friendly manner and raised her hand in a greeting. "Hey, my name is Yuri. What is yours?"

Robert twisted his lips into a wry smile. The woman had asked him something, but to him all of this sounded like unintelligible gibberish. At least, it was neither English nor Japanese. He helplessly smiled and replied, "$#**@&%$#%#&#"

Yuri tilted her head after hearing some strange gibberish and turned to glare at Headon. "Damn it, Headon. You didn't give this boy a Pocket either?"

Headon scratched his head. "Whoops. I suppose I forgot."

Yuri snorted. "Forgot my ass. How can you use the same lame excuse twice?"

Headon didn't retort of her words.

Yuri frowned, but as she continued to stare at Headon, it seemed as if he didn't even care. She sighed and then shouted toward the ceiling, "Evan! Why are you hiding again? Come down here!"

As Robert observed these proceedings curiously, he soon watched a short man with short white hair fall down into the chamber, landing safely on his two feet.

"Hello, sir Headon. Sorry we're intruding again. Have you been well?" Evan smiled politely as he drew back a line a little.

Headon was silent.

Yuri rolled her eyes. "Enough with the fake diplomacy. I hope you have one more extra Pocket for this boy."

Evan observed the new person in the room for a while with both wariness and curiosity, before he sighed, "Sigh... Let me check."

Watching the short man search through his backpack, Robert recalled that at the beginning of the story. Baam received a spherical device that's used inside the Tower, and it turned out that it was a very high grade one and was extremely rare for a newbie to have.

Following the normal route, it seemed as if he himself was destined to have a newbie-level Pocket just like everyone else, but it appeared that perhaps not.

Eventually, the short man pulled out an item from his pocket with a sigh. It was a gray black pocket.

The woman snatched the gray pocket from the man's hands, then extended her hand to Robert with a sincere and encouraging smiled, and then said something. "&#%#%#&#&&#"

Robert could guess what was said, she wants him to grab the pocket was, he slowly took the item from the woman's hand.

The moment he touched the pocket, he felt a very curious sensation while with a sudden flash of white light.

At that time, the pocket began to float near Robert at waist level. Its surface turned pitch black with white markings on its surface that appeared like lines of code on a computer screen.

"So, can you understand me now?" The woman probed as she gently smiled, looking at Robert expectantly.

Robert turned from looking at the tablet to the woman and nodded. "I can understand you. So it's something like a translator!"

Yuri replied, "Yep. It's called a Pocket. It has many different functions in the Tower, but one of them is to translate various languages into Macsethian."

The woman smiled and continued, "By the way, the Pocket you got is A-grade. This thing's pretty expensive and way above a beginner's level! Say thank you."

The short man at the side spoke up, "This A-grade Pocket is customized for video calls. I didn't have anything else but this."

The man shrugged his shoulders. He had already given out the more ordinary A-grade pocket he had to Bam, so he only had this one left.

"Ah, I see… Thank you." Robert uttered a grateful reply to the woman in front and smiled. "My Lady!" He learn manerism when he rule the nine realms because he is royalty.

"Haha, no problem!" The woman smiled deeply and strangely chuckled, seeming quite happy. 'Hehe, he called me my lady, this guy is quite the gentlemen.'

Evan watched Yuri's silly expression and rolled his eyes. 'I'm the one who give it to him though…'

Having calmed down after a moment, the woman placed a hand on her hip and said, "By the way, my name is Yuri, and the short guy back there is called Evan."

"Hello, newbie." The short man at the back raised his hand in a greeting as Yuri turned to look at him, though his face remained rather expressionless and detached.

"What is your name?" Yuri then asked Isaac.

"My name is Robert. Nice to meet you two." Robert gave replied to the two.

Yuri brightly smiled. "Robert? That's a nice name. Say, Robert, how come you ended up in the Tower?"

At this, Evan's ears also perked up, since it was still kind of a mystery on how Irregulars enter the Tower from the outside.

"Well…" Robert thought for a moment, before slowly saying, "It's hard to explain. I just really wanted to explore an interesting new world, and then I was suddenly here."

"Ah, I see. So you want to go up the Tower?" Yuri thoughtfully asked, seeming to have accepted that explanation quite easily.

"Yes." Robert answered without hesitation.

Yuri then turned toward the cage with the huge White Steel Eel. "Do you think you can complete this test?"

"I think so." Robert smiled. Intuitively, he glanced at Zantetsuken and gripped it tighter. He definetly can past this test.

Meanwhile, Yuri happened to look at the sword in Robert's hand. This sword has a curved and weird design, usually swords have a straight design like long swords or katana.

At the side Evan's eyes also widened as he focused more on that sword, using his Guide abilities.

At first glance, it was clearly an Ignition Weapon and it even filled him with dread. This weapon was not inferior to the Black March at all!

'His body is much stronger than a newbie for sure, but his weapon is so terrifying!' Evan thought to himself, quite surprised.

Seeing Robert after meeting an ordinary person like Bam was a breath of fresh air. This guy was a real Irregular, surrounded by mysteries.

This made Evan filled with curiosity and even more fear.

Meanwhile, Yuri stared at the unfamiliar blue engravings on Zantetsuken's blade while squinting and asked, "What's this sword called?"

"Zantetsuken!" Robert answered shortly.

"Zantetsuken... Never heard of it! I guess you're really from the outside!" Yuri said, obviously she never heard of it because it was from outside the tower and a godly weapon.

She looked back at the dwarf man and asked, "So, what do you think, Evan? Do you think he can complete Headon's test?"

Evan pondered for just a moment, then nodded. "Y-yeah. If he can ignite that weapon, he can do it."

He could only judge the strength of Robert's body. He couldn't know the Irregular's skills or combat ability.

But with that alone, he could see that Robert's physique was a level above even a Jahad Princess! Together with his powerful weapon and any special abilities he might have, he should be able to complete this test.

Most importantly, he might be able to pop that impossibly tough Ball by igniting his weapon.

Yuri grinned, After a while, her expression filled with concern, as if she recalled something. "By the way, not long ago another younger boy also entered the Tower…"

Following that, Yuri explained in detail how a little boy had also gone up the Tower a while back, describing his looks and saying that his name was Baam.

The story was like this. Baam entered the Tower looking for a girl, and then passed the test by using her 'Ignition Weapon', ascending to a higher floor.

To Robert, it was a very crucial piece of information, because it told him that he was in the same timeline as Bam when Bam had first entered the Tower, which was certainly good.

Yuri continued, "You're much stronger than Bam, so please find him if you can. Protect him and keep the Black March safe until I find you two. Can you do that for me, please?"

Seeing Yuri looking at him with a pleading look. "Alright but no promises." Robert said.

He didn't see a reason why he wouldn't want to become acquainted with Bam if he met him or why he wouldn't want to have a good relationship with a nice and powerful High Ranker Princess.

Yuri smiled in satisfaction. "Cool, I can live with that. Now you can go climb the tower and meet bam."

After some more talk, and after bidding his final farewells, Robert walked into the eel's cage to finally take his first test for real.

Robert walked into the cage, then looked toward the White Steel Eel in the distance and then started walking deeper in, sword in hand.

In the meantime, Evan and Yuri watched the test taking place from behind the bars.

"Do you think he'll pass?" Yuri casually asked while observing the giant White Armored Eel nearing Robert.

Evan said. "Rather, it would be strange if he didn't."

"Hehe, yeah, he's like a real Irregular!" Yuri grinned.

"Princess, you shouldn't be so happy…" Evan's sigh no longer entered Robert's hearing, as he focused on the monster in front of him.

He already knew that with Shinsoo, his strength and speed will increase. In that case, he felt he could crush this test with just his own strength. There's no need to use Zantetsuken special ability.

Deep within the cage, the giant eel began to make charge toward him. Seeing the advancement of the humongous, bloodthirsty flying 'snake', Robert just standing and walk casually.

"What the hell is he doing?" Evan is surprise of his attitude, he just relax walking towards the eel. "Does he have a death wish?"

"Evan, Relax he must have a plan." Yuri reassure her guide altough she is alsp nervous on the inside because the white steel eel is not a regular or ranker can defeat.

When Robert was near the eel, it's jaw open ready to eat him. What are you doing? DODGE!" Yuri warned him to dodge so he couldn't get eaten. Robert just stop in front of the open mouth eel, the tip of zantetsuken let out a golden lightning from the tip to covering entire sword.

Suddenly Robert was on the other side of the white steel eel, time seems stop for a second until the eel's body was cut into multiple pieces. Robert look back as the entire body of the eel begin to sink down to the ground like a corpse.

Robert didn't look back and continue forward to the ball, he already fought many strong monsters and the eel is not a surprise for him.

Outside the cage, Yuri and Evan also watched the scene in awe.

"What the hell? Did he just kill that eel but how did he do it?" Yuri exclaimed, he didn't see him move nor swing his sword, he suddenly just on the other side of the eel and killed it. "Evan, How the hell did he do it?"

Evan is also in the same spot as yuri, he didn't even see move nor he can see him attacking the eel using his guide abilities. "What the hell is he?" He whispered in fright.
