Do You Want a Wife or Not?

The scholar felt like he was about to faint.

Xuan Si’s snake tail kept tightening around him, and the tip of the tail hooked his ankle, as if teasing him. It curled up his leg and went straight forward.

He screamed softly again and struggled to get onto Xuan Si’s neck, but was unable to break free. His body was suddenly entangled, and he stood up.

Suddenly, he cried out and felt extremely embarrassed.

“Wife, it doesn’t hurt.” Xuan Si touched his head.

“Don’t, don’t touch me!” The scholar’s eyes turned red, and he knocked Xuan Si’s hand away. “You lied to me…”

He had clearly said that he was just touching him, but in the end, he just bowed his head at first then coming out. He was too stupid. He had really thought Xuan Si had no lustful thoughts, and he had been stupid enough to play with Xuan Si like this.

“Why?” He glared at Xuan Si sadly. “Why didn’t you keep your word?”

Xuan Si was stunned, then picked him up and rocked him comfortingly. “Wife, don’t be afraid… don’t be afraid.”

“Who is your wife!” The scholar subconsciously tried to get rid of Xuan Si’s entanglement, but Xuan Si turned him over and pressed him to the ground.

The scholar screamed out. The ground in the cave was cold and full of pebbles. The pebbles scraped against his back even more as he moved. The scholar couldn’t help but raise his neck and felt the Xuan Si wrapping around him tighter.

They had been doing things many times before, but never like this. When the scholar had been in the village, he had heard about men having relationship with each other, but he didn’t know how to do it. He had always thought he should already do it, that Xuan Si had already done everything with him, so he had acquiesced to Xuan Si calling him his wife.

It wasn’t until today that he realized that those previous moments had been just a little slapstick.

The scholar almost cried again. “Do you know what you are doing to me…”

The sun couldn’t shine into the deepest part of the cave, and the only thing visible was Xuan Si’s snake tail constantly wrapping around the scholar’s calf, giving him strength. In the darkness, the only thing that could be seen was the exposed legs moving slightly, and the snake’s tail swimming to push away the stones, leading the scholar. It wanted to drag him deeper into the cave for pleasure.

“Wait, wait, Xuan Si!” The scholar climbed onto Xuan Si’s shoulders and couldn’t help but shout urgently, “You can’t… you can’t do it like this.”

Xuan Si stopped. “Wife, don’t you want to?”

“Xuan Si…”

The scholar was already crying and did not look into the vertical pupils. Probably in Xuan Si’s mind, it was normal to do this kind of thing with his wife to make each other feel comfortable, but the scholar had grown up learning etiquette, justice, and integrity, which made this relationship with a snake demon like this in a dark cave, a bit hard to accept.

Xuan Si seemed to notice his uneasiness and leaned down to smell him carefully.

“My wife don’t be afraid.”

“It’s not that your wife is afraid.” The scholar closed his eyes and said, “…it’s that your wife can’t stay here forever.”

If Xuan Si left once, he would leave a second time. After all, he was human. After Xuan Si left, he would live with other people. If this village could not accommodate him, then he would go to another village. The cave was just a temporary residence.

If he and Xuan Si were having sex today, would he regret today’s indulgence when he came back from his dream at midnight, regretting that he had done something that he couldn’t look back on today?

How could he return to the crowd and live a normal life again after being completely branded as a snake’s wife?

Xuan Si looked at him in confusion, then leaned closer and touched him with his forehead. “Wife, taste it?”

He glanced at Xuan Si and quickly looked away.

“Your wife doesn’t want to continue tasting it.”

“Wife, cry.” Xuan Si stuck out his tongue again and licked away the tears on his face. “Don’t cry.”

The scholar trembled and said nothing.

He actually couldn’t let go of Xuan Si.

When Xuan Si left the cave later, no one would care whether he was hungry or full, cold or warm, and no one would care whether he was crying.

He might find a new private school to teach, or he might have a new life, but could he meet someone like Xuan Si again?

He raised his eyes to look at Xuan Si, who was looking at him, his eyes still so strange and indifferent. So, he turned his head slightly, not looking into Xuan Si’s eyes, and suddenly felt that his body was empty, and the water stains spread away.

He groaned and just laid on the ground, looking so embarrassed. He watched Xuan Si retreat a little further away from him, and the snake’s tail stood up with its support on the ground.

Xuan Si’s snake tail slapped the ground, and he looked at him condescendingly. The snake things were still outside the snake scales and seemed to be dissatisfied. Xuan Si also looked at him for a while, then suddenly lowered his head and stuffed it back manually.

“Wife, sleep.” Xuan Si thought he was sleepy and urged him to sleep. “I’m going outside.”

“Xuan Si…” Inexplicable panic suddenly took over the scholar’s heart. He put his hands on the ground to stand up. “Where are you going?”

Xuan Si didn’t say anything. He just turned around, hissed, and walked out.

The scholar suddenly froze.

Snake scales appeared in twos and threes on his body, proving that he had long been marked by Xuan Si. He was the snake’s wife who had been thrown away and picked up by Xuan Si. Now, it seemed that he was about to be abandoned by Xuan Si again.

“Xuan Si…!”

The scholar wanted to stand up but had no strength, so he could only watch Xuan Si leave with his hands on the ground. There was panic in his eyes, and his heart was beating slowly.
