Chapter 244: [244] JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Premieres! (6)

Chapter 244: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Premieres! (6)

The pacing of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure in its early stages is remarkably brisk, swiftly narrating the myriad changes in Jonathan's life following Dio's arrival.

It can be said that during this period, Dio far surpassed Jonathan in every aspect.

Frustrated and oppressed at home, Jonathan sought to vent his pent-up emotions through a boxing match in town. To his surprise, Dio showed up as well, challenging him to a boxing match.

Reluctantly, Jonathan engaged in the fight, only to discover that Dio's combat skills were exceptionally refined. No matter how hard he tried, Jonathan couldn't land a single hit on him.

In the end, Jonathan was defeated by Dio in a direct confrontation. To make matters worse, due to Dio's malicious rumors, Jonathan became ostracized by all his peers in town.

Witnessing such a plot, the audience couldn't help but feel a surge of frustration. Dio's malicious bullying was something no one could tolerate, and viewers erupted in anger, eagerly anticipating the moment when Dio would finally get his comeuppance.

Meanwhile, in the film, Jonathan Joestar, in the midst of his gloom, unexpectedly encountered a girl named Erina, whom he had once saved.

The despondent young man and the girl harboring hidden feelings for him quickly grew closer, their relationship blossoming almost effortlessly.

Jonathan's melancholy gradually faded as he spent more time with Erina.

However, this development soon caught Dio's attention. One evening, after seeing Jonathan and Erina part ways on the road, Dio hatched a plan. He approached Erina with his two lackeys.

"Hey, you're Erina, right? I noticed you seem pretty close with JoJo," Dio remarked.

Faced with the sudden appearance of the three, Erina's face showed a hint of unease.

Dio sneered and continued, "I found it quite strange. That guy was supposed to be miserable, but lately, he's been acting so cheerful. Turns out, it's because of you."

As he spoke, Dio grabbed Erina's hand, preventing her from desperately trying to escape, and forcibly kissed the poor girl.

At the same time, the two lackeys behind him couldn't help but exclaim:

"He did it! As expected of Dio! He accomplished so effortlessly what we could never do. It's truly inspiring, something to admire and worship!"

After forcibly kissing Erina, Dio arrogantly declared:

"Have you kissed JoJo yet? No, you haven't, right? Your first kiss wasn't with JoJo—it was me, Dio!"

In response to Dio's cold words, Erina, who had fallen to the ground, remained silent, her head bowed low.

One of the lackeys, however, couldn't hold back and shouted:

"Look at this! What's wrong with her? What's she even thinking? She's washing her mouth with muddy water—is she out of her mind? There's a river right there!"

Enraged, Dio also raised his voice:

"You woman, are you deliberately using muddy water to wash your mouth to show your defiance?"

With that, he slapped Erina across the face.

Yet, even so, the girl's gaze remained fierce, unwavering, and unyielding.

"Damn it! I, Dio, have been defied by a woman…"

Trembling with anger, Dio turned around and stormed off.

...

Witnessing this scene, which could only be described as explosive, the audience erupted in outrage. It was almost palpable how much anger most people felt toward Dio.

After all, the bullying and slander earlier were already infuriating enough. But when Dio forcibly kissed an innocent girl and then, in a fit of rage, slapped her, no one could contain their fury toward him.

"That guy Dio is just too evil! He's the worst of the worst!"

"Exactly! All I want to know now is when this guy is going to die?!"

"How could he even bring himself to do that? I'm so furious I can't stand it!"

"..."

The audience's anger was unmistakable. Whether viewers from the East, West, or South, everyone was glued to the screen, their frustration boiling over.

...

At the same time, in the barracks of the Southern Border Army, the soldiers watching this scene were also fuming with anger. At this moment, they had completely forgotten about the actors and were practically ready to charge into the screen and beat Dio to a pulp!

"He's too evil! This guy is just too evil! If I ever run into him, I'll make sure to teach him a lesson!"

"I'm so furious! Dio is absolutely inhuman!"

"How could such a scumbag humiliate a sweet girl like Erina like that?"

"..."

In the distance, seeing the soldiers' impassioned reactions, Josen couldn't help but feel that Captain Brando's absence was a stroke of foresight.

Otherwise, these guys might have completely lost touch with the line between reality and fiction, ready to stage a mutiny-level brawl.

In that kind of situation, even a fourth-rank Sword Soul like him probably wouldn't stand a chance against the collective fury of the crowd.

...

At the Duke's mansion in the South.

Witnessing Dio's actions, Daphne was the first to exclaim:

"How could Brother do such a thing? This is just too awful!"

Seeing that Daphne had clearly blurred the line between the actor and the character, her female attendant quickly reminded her:

"Miss, this is just acting. It's not something Lord Brando would actually do. You should at least give him some trust in this regard."

"Ah, right..."

Hearing her attendant's words, Daphne awkwardly chuckled.

Meanwhile, Duke Constantine quietly coughed. If Daphne hadn't spoken first, he might have already blurted out "that unfilial son."

Of course, a certain Vampire watched the movie with a smile from start to finish, her astonishing focus even more intense than when she had watched The Garden of Sinners.

...

Similarly, at Edward's Tavern, the members of the film studio were also seething with anger over Dio's actions, eagerly asking Durin when this guy would finally meet his end.

Caught off guard by how effectively the character of Dio had stirred up such intense hatred, Durin could only respond vaguely:

"You'll find out if you keep watching."

"..."

Though everyone wanted a clear answer, they eventually stopped pressing and turned their attention back to the movie, waiting for the story to unfold.

In the film, due to Dio's despicable actions, Erina, overwhelmed by pain and shame, no longer dared to interact with Jonathan.

Seeing the girl's visibly distressed demeanor, Jonathan immediately began to investigate and soon realized that the culprit behind all of this was none other than Dio!

"Dio!"

In an instant, Jonathan roared in fury, charging toward the Joestar mansion at full speed.
