Dimensional Kaguya Ōtsutsuki

Chapter 513: A Heart's Wish

"What are you doing?"

The coolness on her lower body made the young girl panic instantly; she had never encountered a situation like this before.

"What do you think?" Kaguya's face beamed with a bright smile as she leaned down and said, "I told you that was your last chance. Since you didn't appreciate it, I'm afraid you'll have to face punishment now."

Although Kaguya wore a radiant smile, to the girl, it looked chillingly sinister, especially when considering the overwhelming power she had shown earlier, making the girl shiver involuntarily.

She had clearly underestimated her opponent.

At that moment, Kaguya suddenly took hold of her shoulders and spun her around, pressing her face down so her back was up, leaving her lying across Kaguya's lap.

"Wh-what are you going to do?" The girl stammered, her voice full of alarm.

"What do you think?" Kaguya replied with a smile before raising her hand and bringing it down with a loud slap.

Smack!

The sharp sound echoed.

The girl froze, feeling a sting on her backside. She finally realized what had happened—she had just been spanked.

"H-how dare you!"

Smack! Smack!

"You jerk, let me go! I'll kill you!"

Smack! Smack!

"How dare you hit me? You're so dead!"

Smack! Smack!

Ignoring her insults, Kaguya continued, her hand rising high before slapping down hard on the girl's tender backside. It didn't take long for her skin to flush pink, and against her skin, the marks stood out even more vividly.

The girl struggled as hard as she could, her body twisting and squirming, but Kaguya's hand held her back firmly in place. Her slender frame was no match for Kaguya's strength, and she had no chance of breaking free.

"You—you jerk!" the girl gritted her teeth, cursing viciously, "I'll get you back for this! Just you wait!"

"Oh really?" Kaguya sneered. "With that scrawny little body of yours, I'd love to see how you'd even try."

Hearing this, the girl seemed triggered, flaring up in anger and thrashing about as she ground out, "How dare you! I'll kill you! I'll kill you!"

She clearly wasn't used to swearing; her words repeated in a dull cycle, offering little variety.

"I know there are Spirits with you," the girl bit her lip, muttering with hatred, "but you won't always be with them. As soon as you're not around, I'll call DEM to come and kill them all."

Kaguya's hand froze in mid-air.

"What's the matter? Scared now?" The girl let out a cold snort, her voice tinged with smug satisfaction as she said, "As long as you let me go, I'll forget about it. But if you don't, then you'd better prepare yourself for all your little friends to start dropping one by one."

"Actually, I should thank you," Kaguya's face twisted into a sudden smile. "Why didn't I think of this sooner? I was considering letting you go, but now that you've shown you're so dangerous, I'll just have to make sure you stay here forever."

"You wouldn't dare!" The girl attempted to sound intimidating, but her voice wavered.

"Why don't you find out?" Kaguya replied coldly, "But before that… threatening me, huh? Guess that means double the punishment."

With that, her hand came down hard, making a loud smack that sent ripples through the girl's delicate skin, her flesh jiggling slightly with each hit, as if it were some soft jelly.

"Aaah! Stop! Stop!"

A steady rhythm of slaps continued to rain down, turning the girl's skin red and swollen, each blow more intense than the last until her senses began to blur under the constant sting.

After a few moments, the girl's defiant cries quieted down until they were barely a whisper, eventually fading altogether.

Kaguya paused, a bit surprised. Had the little girl actually fainted?

That was unexpected. Perhaps she had been a bit too hard on her. But the girl wasn't exactly ordinary—she shouldn't have passed out so easily. Had something gone wrong?

Just as Kaguya was about to check on her, the girl lifted her head, eyes red and watery, and muttered in a tearful voice, "Please… please stop."

Kaguya was momentarily taken aback.

Seeing that the little troublemaker was still conscious, Kaguya sighed in relief. However, she kept her expression stern, replying, "What did you say? I couldn't quite hear you."

"Please… just stop," the girl repeated with a sob, "If you keep going, you'll break me…"

It turned out the stubborn little brat wasn't quite as tough as she pretended to be. After about half an hour, her resistance had crumbled, proving that despite her unique background, she was still just a child.

Kaguya didn't let her off that easily, though. She continued for a little longer before finally stopping, believing that a good scolding was the only way to deal with someone so unruly.

When Kaguya left the room that afternoon, the little girl hobbled out behind her, limping slightly. She shot Kaguya a look full of hate but quickly changed to an obedient expression whenever Kaguya glanced her way.

"You'll be staying at my place from now on," Kaguya said firmly as she turned to face the girl.

"What?" The girl objected immediately. "Are you planning to imprison me?"

"If you think that's what it is, I could make it official, although it may take more effort," Kaguya responded with a faint smile.

At that, the girl closed her mouth, fearing that this terrible person might follow through.

As they walked, the girl followed a few steps behind, already plotting how she could get her revenge. She was still furious; after all, her backside was still aching from the spanking.

"Your name is Natsumi, isn't it?" Kaguya suddenly asked.

"Uh… yes," Natsumi replied, startled enough to nearly trip over her own feet. She tried to regain her composure, but her face was slightly pale.

How did this person know her name?

"You're probably wondering how I know your name," Kaguya said as she stopped, turning to her with a smile that didn't quite reach her eyes. "We can discuss that later. But for now, I imagine you're hungry. Let's go to the store and pick up some food," she added, reaching out to take Natsumi's small, pale hand.

Oh, so now she was trying to be nice? It was too late for that.

Natsumi huffed to herself, but even as she thought about it, she meekly followed along behind Kaguya as they made their way toward the store.

After arriving at the supermarket, Kaguya didn't head to the food section to buy ingredients but instead took Natsumi to the clothing section.

Weren't we supposed to buy food?

Natsumi muttered to herself but dared not say it aloud. After the beating from Kaguya, she kept up her stubborn facade, but there was a trace of fear in her heart. Of course, she would never admit to feeling this way.

When they reached the clothing section, Kaguya stopped and led Natsumi inside. Natsumi didn't want to go, but seeing no other option, she reluctantly followed behind her.

Kaguya strolled between the clothing racks, occasionally taking a piece down to size up and glancing at Natsumi from time to time. This made Natsumi feel uneasy, wondering if this evil person was thinking up some new, cruel way to torment her.

"Excuse me, miss, do you need any assistance?" Just then, a saleswoman approached them with a friendly smile.

The elegant demeanor and noble bearing of this beautiful young woman marked her as no ordinary person. The saleswoman's eyes caught the fine bracelet on Kaguya's wrist, its gemstone inlay confirming her suspicion—this must be a high-class customer.

At the thought, the saleswoman's smile grew warmer, and her attentiveness increased. Though she couldn't help but wonder about the strange little girl beside her. Could she be a relative?

"I'll take all these clothes," Kaguya said, pointing to her selection.

"Understood, I'll get them packed right away," the saleswoman replied, her eyes lighting up. After all, these clothes were from a premium brand and far from affordable for the average person.

"No need," Kaguya waved her hand, pointing to a specific outfit on a rack. "Except for that one, pack up the rest. By the way, do you have any face wash, BB cream, or hair accessories?"

"Yes, absolutely," the saleswoman replied enthusiastically. "Is there something specific you're looking for?"

"I'll need a cleanser, BB cream, and..." Kaguya listed off several products. She hadn't ever needed cosmetics herself, not before her transformation, when she was a man, nor afterward, as her current appearance was naturally flawless. However, under Qiao Xiaoqing's influence, she'd learned a bit about makeup products.

"Of course! I'll be right back," the saleswoman said, hurrying off to gather the items.

Natsumi stared at the clothes with a puzzled expression, realizing something odd—they didn't seem to be Kaguya's size. These clothes looked about one size smaller than her usual fit, making it impossible for her to wear them.

Just as Natsumi was wondering about this, Kaguya approached her with a smile, holding out a piece of clothing. "Come on, try it on. Let's see how it looks."

"Huh?" Natsumi stared blankly. "You want me to wear it?"

"Of course," Kaguya chuckled, "Who else do you think I bought these for?"

Natsumi looked dazed. No one had ever bought her clothes before. For some reason, watching this detestable person so carefully select clothes for her stirred up an odd feeling in her heart.

Finally, she replied, "No."

"What?" Kaguya was taken aback. "Why not?"

"I said no, so no. None of your business," Natsumi huffed and turned away. "I don't like these clothes—they're ugly."

"Oh? And you think that odd outfit you're wearing now is pretty?" Kaguya pointed at her clothing.

As if touched upon a sore spot, Natsumi's face flushed with anger, and she shouted, "Yes, I know I'm ugly. Fine? It's my life; no one cares about me anyway, so why should you?"

Her voice was loud enough that people in the supermarket turned to look, curious about the commotion. There's no denying that, no matter the country, people always loved watching a good scene.

Realizing they'd become the center of attention, Kaguya grabbed Natsumi's wrist and, ignoring her protests, led her toward the fitting room.

"Let go of me! Let go!" Natsumi protested, but with her tiny frame, there was no way she could resist. Her spirit powers were suppressed by Kaguya's sinister chakra, making her as powerless as an ordinary little girl.

Once they were both in the fitting room, Kaguya turned to face her and smiled. "Do you really think you're ugly?"

Natsumi pursed her lips, looking away, "What does it matter to you?"

"It matters," Kaguya replied, "If I go out with you, and people start talking about the ugly little monster I'm with, it would ruin my image."

"You—you can't say that, you jerk!" Natsumi shouted angrily. "Fine! I'll leave so you won't have to be bothered with me!"

"Calm down, I was just joking," Kaguya said as she reached out and gently patted her head. Perhaps it was from all the times she'd patted Yoshino's head at home, but when she saw a girl of a similar age, her hand moved on its own.

"Hmph," Natsumi huffed, turning her head away, swatting Kaguya's hand off, looking sullen.

Watching Natsumi's childish defiance, Kaguya smiled, "What if I told you I could make you beautiful? Would you believe me?"

"It's not like that's anything special. I could do that myself," Natsumi pouted, feigning disinterest.

As a Spirit, Natsumi had the ability to change her appearance, transforming herself into a beautiful young woman whenever she used her spirit power. So she wasn't particularly interested in Kaguya's claim.

"I mean without using spirit power, to make you beautiful in everyday life," Kaguya clarified.

Natsumi blinked in surprise. "Are you serious? You're not tricking me?"

"If I'm lying, I'll let you go. How about that?" Kaguya said with a smile.

"Are you sure?" Natsumi asked with a hint of doubt.

"Of course. When have you ever seen me lie to you?"

Natsumi hesitated. She didn't know if she should trust this person, but either way, she figured she had nothing to lose. If Kaguya managed to make her prettier, that would be wonderful—it was her long-standing wish. If it didn't work, she could leave this awful person behind.

In the end, Natsumi nodded slightly, reluctantly agreeing to Kaguya's suggestion.
