"Is this a schematic of the Containment Area?" Brit muttered, the paper in his hand was about the same size as the file he saw before, but the information of the contents was not, instead it was a schematic layout.

[ Research Department-02-Design Plan (SCP-049 Containment Chamber) ]

Brit subconsciously looked up at the passage: "SCP-049's Containment Chamber?"

"What is SCP-049?" Vale next to him also saw the schematic diagram, covered his belly, frowned, and said, "Who knows, let's just go in and take a look."

Brit nodded slightly. However, before departure, Brit reviewed the current situation carefully again:

First, they came out of the Pocket Dimension of "The Old Man" and arrived at this place, there, they got the Level 3 Keycard. Then they left the balcony, opened several metal doors in a row, and reached the passageway with the elevator. The metal door at the end of the passage required fingerprints, so they could only use the elevator. Finally, they arrived here.

"Huh...Let's go. Let's see what SCP-049 is." After sorting out his thoughts clearly, Brit took a deep breath and said softly.

The reason why he wanted to sort out his thoughts was because he felt that this game might fail. That being the case, he needed to be familiar with every corner of the game map as much as possible. Because the next game session, they might pass through here again, although the game map would change, the basic details of the map wouldn't change.

"Let's go! If we fail in the end, I will never touch that book again!" Vale gritted his teeth resentfully.

His pain was stronger now, but not to the point of being unbearable.

Brit gave a wry smile when he heard the words, patted Vale on the shoulder, and took the lead to walk deeper into the passage. The two of them were walking in the passage, concentrating, ready to turn around and run away. After all, they didn't know what SCP-049 was, so they had to be careful.

And their vigilance was justified, just when they walked to the middle of the passage, there was a snap, and the lights in the passage went out instantly. Their surroundings fell into darkness for a moment.

"F*CK-!" The two were startled, almost subconsciously turning around to run away, but it was pitch black, and they couldn't see anything.

At the critical moment, Brit let out a shout: "Don't panic, calm down-!"

Vale quickly calmed down.

"Damn it, that almost scared me to death. Fortunately, no monsters rushed out...Is this a power outage?"

"Yes, the power supply is cut off, probably because of the game's plot design...Ah, I see now, the layout diagram we just saw is a hint!"

Brit suddenly realized.

"I saw the schematic just now, it just describes the layout here. Containment Chamber, elevator, elevator power supply, generator, power control, control area...I think I get it now, don't worry, there's a solution."

"Damn, that makes sense!" After hearing Brit's words, Vale also understood.

Why was a schematic given after they got off the elevator? Because the power would be cut off next, and this was just giving out the items for beating the stage in advance.

"That's great, Brit. Tell me where the power switch is, and I'll turn it on."

Brit took out the schematic again, but he couldn't see anything clearly because it was too dark.

"Forget it, let's go, we'll feel our way around first. I remember the general location." Brit continued to move forward, but he could only move slowly by feeling the wall.

Vale followed behind.

In the silent passage, there were only the sounds of their breathing and footsteps, and they could only see some extremely dim outlines. It could be said that the current situation was almost the same as that period of darkness in the "Pocket Dimension" of "The Old Man". But it is better than not seeing anything at all.

After walking a little farther, Brit felt the wall in front of him.

After staring hard with his eyes wide open for a while, Brit moved to the side. After feeling for a few meters, Brit finally found an open door.

"It should be here..." Brit said in a low voice, and Vale immediately groped into the room excitedly. As soon as he entered, he fell with a plop.

"What tripped me up?" Vale crawled up, covering his mouth, almost knocking his teeth out.

"Hmm...WHAT THE F*CK-! A corpse-!" Vale was startled, and Brit also vaguely saw the outline of a corpse on the ground inside the door.

"It is a corpse. We have to be careful, maybe that SCP-049 is very dangerous. This corpse was most likely killed by it." Brit walked slowly into the room, carefully stepping over the corpse.

Vale naturally stood up as well and the two began to search the room.

"I remember this is the power control room, there should be a switch or something..." Brit whispered.

Then he saw the outline of a row of high-voltage electrical boxes farther into the room, and there was also a yellow high-voltage symbol on it.

"Be careful, Brit, don't get shocked." Vale also felt around, with his face almost stuck to the high-voltage electrical box, trying to find the power switch.

But in the end, Brit saw the switch. It was a lever, the top was closed, the bottom was open, and they just had to pull it down.

"Found it-!" Brit said excitedly, then grabbed the lever and pulled it down.

Hum-!

With the sound of electricity, the entire power control room immediately lit up.

"Hey! Everyone, this is called not panicking in the face of danger." Brit raised his brows and showed a signature smile, his mood brightening. The feeling of solving difficulties in the game with his own ability was simply too cool.

The chat in the stream was also full of jokes, and all kinds of reactions were coming in rapidly. However, when Brit was still excited, Vale suddenly spoke in a frightened voice: "Don't act so smug, Brit, look at the door..."

Brit came to his senses and quickly looked in the direction Vale pointed, then his eyes widened. He saw that the corpse that tripped Vale at the door just now was twitching slightly.

"Damn it! Can this thing come back to life?" Brit was stunned and blurted out instinctively/

Judging by its clothes, the corpse at the door seemed to have been a soldier before his death, but it looked very strange. The chest and abdomen seemed to have been cut open and then sewn together, and the body was in an unnaturally twisted state. If he had to describe it, the corpse seemed to have undergone a gruesome surgical procedure.

"Is this SCP-049???" Vale asked in horror. He had already started looking for self-defense tools.

Brit shook his head and said: "I don't know, it might be..."

Although Brit thought it was unlikely, the Foundation anomalies were strange, and even a statue could move and twist people's necks, so what was impossible?

"I swear I heard movement outside. Could there be more than one of them?" Vale suddenly looked to the side again, but he didn't have x-ray vision, so he naturally couldn't see what was outside.

But the corpse at the door soon stopped twitching, then, under Brit and Vale's horrified eyes, it stood up. Its face was dull and pale, staring straight at Brit and Vale.

"It's over, we're going to die..." Vale swallowed hard, as the reanimated corpse looked fierce and deadly, he felt he couldn't win against it.

Brit also turned pale. After all, this was the first time he had seen a corpse come back to life. Although it was a game, the impact was powerful.

But Brit quickly gritted his teeth: "No way, let's run-!"
