Chapter 26: Confirmation
The news of Anastasias Sainthood spread throughout the World. While the people in Russia celebrated this occasion, the people abroad were confused and baffled.
Mind this, that Christianity in Russia is about 80% or more of the population with Islam being 8 to 10%. With the rest being of other beliefs, undecided or not believing in any.
The Ottoman Empire which is by extend Mecca declared that the decision of the religious leaders in Russia of their faith is wrong and that they are Infedels. This caused uproar among their belief which instantly caused a schism which broke them apart. Ottomans declaration also worsened the already bad relationship with Russia.
The Christian branches took this information more calmly with only a few calling this Heretical which quickly got silenced.
The Vatican sent a letter to Russia saying that the Pope will visit to see and confirm the news with his own eyes. The Letter was cryptic but Nicolas accepted as there wasn't any problems with it.
Speaking of Nicolas, he to was shocked of this news but quickly got over it and bragged about his daughter who got Sanctified.

-1 day later-
A day has passed since the news of Anastasias Sainthood was declared. The Pope who had sent a letter of visitation is currently being welcomed to Russia.
As he got out of the cart at the St.Petersburg metro he was welcomed by a escort team sent out to bring him to the Palace.
As they drove to the Palace a Cardinal asked the Pope. "Your Holiness, what will you do when you meet the Princess?"
Pope Pios the X looked at his old friend calmly and spoke. "I will see if she is truly worthy of her new position, as this will be a first to have a Saint being declared while said person is still alive. I will also use 'that'."
The Cardinal looked at the Pope with a worried expression. "Are you sure to use 'that' your Holiness."
"I am, I hope I will see goodness in her."
Pio the X answered as he closed his eyes.
As they arrived at the Palace and entered the Emporors office who welcomed them.
"Welcome to Russia your Holiness, I hope the journey was met with no difficulties."
Nicolas welcomed the Pope as he shook his hand.
The Pope who accepted the greeting smiled and said. "The journey was calm and peaceful, thank your for your patience your Majesty."
As they sat down and discussed about Anastasia and why the Pope came to visit personally. "So, your Holiness, why did you personally come and visit us?"
Nicolas asked as he waited for a response.
The Pope looked at Nicolas and replied.
"I've come to see if your daughter is truly worthy of her new title. As this title gives her not only power within the Eastern Church but also makes her the Highest Authority of the Chruch in Russia."
The Pope spoke as he looked at the Emporor.
Nicolas was thoughtful as he looked at the Pope and thought as he replied.
"Then with you here you can so your duties."
As they discussed some more, Anastasia arrived at the Office.
As she entered she was eyes with the Pope who introduced himself.
Anastasias introduced herself as well as they shook each other's hands.
As Anastasia introduced herself the Pope used 'that'. That being his owns eyes to see a person's soul and true self. Every Pope has it with it being passed down from Pope to Pope.
What he saw made his face stiffen as his blood turned cold. He quickly regained composure and continued to talk with the Princess.

After the talks were done the Pope said. "I have decided, I confirm the Russians Church's declaration of Princess Anastasias Sainthood and also declare her to be a Saint of the Vatican as well."
This caused Anastasias hopes of her Sainthood being denied to shatter. Not only does the Pope accept the Russian Churchs claim but also declared that she's also a Saint of the Vatican.
Nicolas in turn was happy to see his daughter being a Saint of the largest branch of their belief.
As they escorted the Pope outside the Palace, he said his goodbyes and left by car to the Train station.
As they traveled by car one of his Priests asked. "Your Holiness, what did you see?"
Pio closed his eyes as he said. "I saw soothing unbelievable, I saw a giant man behind her who's light almost made me blind. And a woman who's darkness threatened to consume me. But what I saw after made me shiver in fear."
The Priests asked. "What was it?"
The Pope took a deep breath. "I saw,
