Chapter Nineteen; Aboard the Galleon
As previously thought. The party did indeed have to ride the galleon across the sea in which the gate would open for them. Thankfully, it had not cost them any money, but they were given one palatial room for all of them. It was more like an apartment, with separate bedrooms but a living room they all shared. Jazmel was shocked by this, as the room was far bigger than what the galleon could hold but he imagined the space would be like the labyrinth worlds inside each gate. Patton sat in the living room couch and leaned back.
“We should check the galleon for any hidden quests or trials. But for now, let us get some rest. I have needed it since the Orbweaver nest.” He laughed to himself, and Jazmel remembered he had been almost comatose when they had defeated the Orbweaver queen.
“I will be staying in tonight; I am tiering up.” Sadé told them and enthusiastically everyone congratulated her.
“Speaking of tiers, we should probably all know what everyone is. Keep your stats to yourself, but what tier are you all.” Patton asked.
“Seeker tier I, soon anyway.” Sadé told them.
“Seeker tier I.” Bannerman said next.
Seeker tier II.” Katie smiled and bowed low to them all.
“Seeker.” Jazmel said suddenly embarrassed.
“Seeker tier I.” Patton said, and they all smiled.
“I will also be tiering up; I just need one more item.” Jazmel told them all. Patton congratulated him and then asked him what he needed.
“Considering my own abilities, I need something to temper my body. I need to consider the impurities in my body at every level. My stats are well rounded, but I need something to greatly increase my body.” Jazmel explained.
“Will fire do?” Patton asked him, suddenly pensive. Jazmel had not considered that, but fire did burn and so he wondered what sort of fire could or would it be. He nodded but looked at Sadé he nodded quickly to assure him it was a good option.
“My first floor was a volcanic ruin; I literally entered a lava hound den. But that was not the worst of it, an Ifrit was in control of the floor. Thankfully, I did not have to fight it, but one of the drops were these things.” In his hand appeared a sole flame. It was quite large for a flame it was the size of a small ball. But then small arms and legs formed and then the flame turned. Little eyes opened and a squeak was heard.
DING!
IGNI SPRITE, sprites are life forms that from in the deep recesses of volcanoes. They are sometimes called children of the flames. Used in tribulations and item making, common but still sought after.

INHABITANTS OF THE FIRES OF VOLCANOES
…
CAN BE CONSUMED.
The system told him and using his eyes he peered into its Mana source, and it was a vibrant red. It was surprisingly pure even as small as it was. Jazmel nodded and accepted the sprite. It danced as it floated into his hand, and the warmth was welcoming.
“It is settled then; you tier up. We will look around the ship and come back before finding anything to eat.” Patton said and Jazmel liked how he always had promising ideas for them all.
“I think you should always consider the different items for tier tribulations. It is important that you collect anything you think might be good for you, in the future. Even if you are not near a tribulation. You should always plan for when you are tiering up.” Patton advised them all and Jazmel nodded thinking the advice good for him.
“We will leave you guys to it; Bannerman want to go for a walk?” Katie asked him and he grunted before walking out the door. She ran after him to catch up. Patton followed them.
