Chapter 33: Chapter 33: The Promised Memories
Raven blinked in confusion as he opened his eyes and looked around. He wasn't in the quidditch pitch, nor was he at the hospital room.
He looked to be in some sort of weird forest. This most definitely wasn't the forbidden forest. So it was some kind of forest at least a bit away.
"I supposed I can look around." Raven mused as he walked around the forest. It was a very beautiful forest.
However he didn't forget to enable his tracking rune on his thigh. More like he stopped blocking the signal to it. A mental thing more then a physical thing. It would let Lorelei find him.
Trees that looked like they didn't belong amongst the physical realm of earth. Crystal clear ponds scatter about. A large lake at one spot.
He honestly was amazed by the wildlife poking about. Beautiful and not found amongst human kind. Mostly.
Unicorns was one of the few races he knew that wondered by. Looking around he suddenly felt weird. None of his identification techniques were working.
In fact, none of his abilities were working. Though he could feel his mana, magic and prana. Could call upon it, but none of the abilities within functioned.
"How annoying." Raven mused, though he was slightly amused. Someone or something not a divine being capable of removing his capability to use any form of power externally.
Perhaps it was a divine being?
"My lady, you look positively radiant." Raven turned and suddenly the forest changed into a small city made of wooden buildings and stone.
Standing out from everyone else, was a beautiful woman. Blonde hair that fell a bit pass her glorious behind. Ample bust. Green forest eyes with blue-gray pupils.
Honestly, he was kinda hard right now, thankfully it seemed like no one could see him.
"Thank you." She said and turned slightly letting Raven see the now visible and obvious large stomach, she was pregnant. The way she held her stomach was a dead giveaway. The gentle caressing, the care.
"My lady! Your water!" Another person called out, Raven glanced down to see her pants slightly wet.
"Oh no." She said and raised her hand as a portal seemed to form and she quickly moved through it.
Then as suddenly, Raven found himself dragged to a different area. A hospital like spot.
The same woman was in labor.
"Just one more push my lady! You're almost there!"
"Ahhhhhhh!"
"Wahhhh!"
"It's a boy!"
"My baby." The woman cooed out as she took the now wiped down baby, wrapped in a blue blanket.
Blonde hair and blue eyes stared back momentarily.
"What will you call him my lady?" The doctor asked softly.
"Raven. Raven-" Raven stared wide eye at the scene before he was dragged away again.
This time he found himself in a castle. The same woman was sitting in a rocking chair smiling as she held the same baby, possibly baby him.
"One day my dear, you and momma will explore the world together. We will venture across the nigh infinite realms. Just you and me. Maybe one day your father and sister will join us." She said softly, and Raven found himself drawn to her voice.
To him it was so soothing, relaxing the knots he felt in his shoulders and back. He leaned against the rocking chair, somehow tangible, but also intangible at the same time. He wasn't sure how to explain it.
"I promise you my son, I will protect you no matter what. If the day we are ever seperated, I will cross an infinite number of realms till I find you, even if it cost me my dying breath." She said softly as she planted a gentle warm kiss on his forehead.
"I promise you that, with me here, you will never be alone." Slowly she stood up and walked, Raven found himself silently following her to the destination.
A nursery. Painted blue, black and white. The window pointing out towards that same small city made of wooden homes and buildings, mixed in with some stone ones.
"Goodnight my sweet little prince. Mommy loves you." She said gently closing the door after she tucked her baby in. Raven stood there watching.
Just standing and staring at the baby. Instinctively he knew it was him. To much of a coincidence not to be.
However later into the night, the window opened and a man stepped in. He looked ugly. Really, what an idiot… Raven's eyes narrowed into slits. He knew that face.
The person in life he hated the most. Loathed. Wanted to bathe in their blood. To rip out their organs and feast on their heart.
"This is what you get for rejecting me for centuries you stupid bitch." The ugly man said as he grabbed baby Raven and hopped out the window.
Raven followed him, leaping out the window as he enhanced his legs. The man seemed to wonder for a while into the forest, Raven believed it to be the ward line passed once he stopped.
A brown portal opened and he walked through in. Then like before, Raven found himself pulled into a new, but familiar area.
The unforgettable orphanage where he was raised. The ugly man had him on the ground and was casting spells and drawing runes onto baby Raven.
"Let's see that bitch find you here, especially when her half is hidden away." The man cackled quietly, such an ugly sound. Then he seemed to bind the runes and spells to baby him who started crying out in pain, or perhaps at seeing such an ugly face.
For just a moment, Raven wished he could interact with the physical plane now. Just so he could punch the ugly man.
"Enjoy little bastard, I promise I'll be back to ensure you don't live easy." The man said as he went back into his brown portal and left, soon after the door opened revealing an old caretaker he only saw in photos as she gently picked him up and brought him in.
A single note laid on his chest, the word written on it…
Raven
Then in the next moment he found himself pulled into a different spot, except this time it wasn't anywhere like a forest, a city, no. It was something much more amazing, besides his possible mom.
A black void, but he could see a small blue dot in the distance, seemingly growing, or perhaps it was just getting closer, nope, it was getting bigger and closer.
Suddenly it slammed into him and he found himself dragged into the clouds, the sun not visible, but ample lighting able.
Suddenly a woman took form. She had short brown-black hair, blue eyes with red pupils. A pink-white kimono with red lining on the inside.
"Welcome my dear magaican." She said softly, and Raven glanced down to see baby him in her hands, she was gently cradling him. Yet she stared directly at him, her eyes following him as he moved around. A small smile tugged at her lips.
"Yes, I can see you my precious one." She said with a slight tone of amusement. "I am Akasha, The Swirl of The Root, is what your kind call me. The void from which creation sprang, and shall return to." She said as she walked forward and stood in front of him. Baby him seemed content to sleep.
"I shall keep this simple for you. When that fool kidnapped you, he screwed up, he inadvertently mixed up two runes, minor in nature, but both together form a hole into the void, not possible to do again, but it happened." She said as she looked down and softly ran a free hand through baby him's hair.
"Yet, as much as I wanted this not to happen, I can only feel grateful that the foolish one allowed for me to meet my precious one so much sooner. I welcome you my beloved one, to the center of my being. I grant onto you my most amazing gift. The gift above all else."
"Creation. The domain of creation shall be yours to wield as you wish. Creation in your hands, whatever you want shall become real, whatever displeases you shall disappear, after all, a creator can destory its creation just as easy as creating it." She said gently as she created a crib out of nowhere and placed baby him inside.
"Now, the time of awakening draws near. Sadly our next conversation shall not be for a while, Alyla and Gaia will throw a hissy fit and I must remind them of their place."
"Wait, I have so many questions! Just why am I seeing all this!? I wasn't even there for most of it!" Raven demanded quickly.
"Calm my belonved one. I promise you answers shall come, but I can tell you this. Your heritage awoke early, combined with the connection to my records, you have seen the past. One day you will have all the answers you seek, but until then, I must bid you a goodbye my favored one. Soon we shall meet again, and more answers I shall be able to give you." She said softly as she walked closer.
"Until then, I bid you goodbye with a gift." She said and cupped his face before gently kissing him on the lips and using tongue.
"You'll understand eventually. For now though, I believe also receiving my first kiss is something noteworthy no?" She said smiling before Raven found himself flying away again.

Before anyone ask, yes he pulling hard, but that's a long time off before it becomes something serious. Now onto the author notes.
Sorry for the wait, I rewrote this chapter a total of eight times before deciding I was at least happy with this version.
The first few writes were similar, but didn't go down the route I liked. The last two felt right, but didn't have the effect I wanted, but I wrote this one and decided to go with it.
It's also why only one chapter was released today. I spent all day rewriting this over and over lol.
Hope you enjoyed, until next my dear readers.
