Chapter 343: Complete Reincarnation
Strax smiled, feeling for the first time the warmth of these two women's touch. After so long together only in spirit, finally having them here, physical, real, was something he had dreamed of since the moment Xyn made it possible to bring them back to life through the homunculi.
"You both seem to be doing well," he commented, amusement and relief mixing in his voice as he looked at them.
Ouroboros, on the other hand, seemed to have completely forgotten any other vocabulary. Her voluptuous body pressed against his as she clung desperately to Strax, her eyes shining with pure adoration. "Husband…" she whispered repeatedly, her voice filled with emotion, as if trying to make up for all the lost time.
Tiamat, however, reacted differently. There was no desperation in her gestures, only a deep and silent happiness. She embraced him with everything she had, her body trembling slightly as she sank into his warmth. There was no need for words. Just being there, feeling his existence against hers, was enough.
Strax let out a sigh, surrounded by their bodies, feeling both exhausted and whole. "It took so long… but every second was worth it…" he murmured, wrapping his arms around both of them.
Ouroboros buried her face in his neck, her breath hot and erratic. "We will never be apart again…"
Tiamat tightened her embrace even more, her energy vibrating in sync with his. "Never."
Strax felt their racing hearts against his, their bodies pressed together, their breathing heavy. The warmth of their skin was intoxicating, and the way they clung to him made it impossible to ignore the growing desire in the air.
Ouroboros, still pressed against his chest, lifted her face, her golden eyes glowing with absolute devotion. "Husband…" she whispered, biting her lip lightly as if gathering courage.
Tiamat, who had remained silent until then, slid her fingers gently across Strax's face, her touch delicate yet firm. Her sapphire eyes gazed into his with something deeper than simple happiness—it was longing, a yearning that words could never express.
Strax felt his throat go dry. They were here, so close, so beautiful, and finally real. He had fought for this moment all this time. And now, they were within his reach.
He did not hesitate.
His hands slid to their faces, holding them firmly yet with a tenderness only someone who had longed for them for so long could have. First, he looked at Ouroboros, who let out a soft gasp, her eyes closing instinctively. Then, he leaned in and sealed his lips over hers.
Ouroboros let out a surprised moan but quickly surrendered, her arms wrapping around his neck as their bodies molded together. The kiss started soft but soon grew more intense, as if she wanted to imprint on him the time they had been apart.
When they finally parted, a thin strand of saliva still connected them, and Ouroboros was panting, her face flushed.
Before Strax could say anything, Tiamat cupped his face and pulled him toward her. Unlike Ouroboros's eager kiss, Tiamat's was slow, deep, as if she were savoring every second. She sighed against his lips, her fingers digging lightly into the nape of his neck.
Strax felt his skin shiver, and when she finally pulled away, her eyes were clouded with desire.
"Our first kiss…" Ouroboros murmured, touching her own lips with a radiant smile.
Tiamat nodded softly, her gaze still locked onto Strax's. "It was perfect…"
Strax smiled, finally feeling complete. "It was just the first of many."
He let out a satisfied sigh as the three of them remained embraced on the ground. The sensation of finally having them there, real, warming his body with their touch, was something he would never forget. But they couldn't stay like that forever. Read new chapters at My Virtual Library Empire
"Let's get up." He said with a light smile, adjusting himself to stand.
Ouroboros and Tiamat, still clinging to him, tried to follow… But as soon as they attempted to put weight on their legs, they staggered awkwardly.
"Whoa—!" Ouroboros stumbled, but Strax caught her waist before she could fall.
"I… I'm not used to this!" Tiamat grumbled, clutching his arm to keep her balance. Her movements were slightly uncoordinated, as if their bodies were not yet fully their own.
Strax raised an eyebrow, looking from one to the other as they both clung to his arms. "Are you really okay?"
Ouroboros huffed, crossing her arms stubbornly while her face remained flushed. "Of course we are! We just… just need to get used to this!"
Tiamat nodded, still holding onto his arm. "These bodies are new… It feels like everything is stiff, like it's not flowing naturally."
Strax carefully observed their movements. The way they seemed to need constant support, the way they tried to move but hesitated, as if they weren't yet fully connected to their own bodies. He sighed, running a hand through his hair, a playful smile forming on his lips.
"So that means I have to carry you?" He teased.
Ouroboros immediately frowned, her proud expression intensifying. "No way! I am the most powerful of serpents! I'll get used to it in a few seconds!"
Tiamat, on the other hand, simply tightened her grip on his arm and sighed softly. "Being carried by you… doesn't sound so bad."
Strax chuckled and gave them a gentle tug, helping them straighten up. "Alright, I'll help until you get the hang of it."
And so, with a wife holding each of his arms, Strax began guiding them patiently, while Ouroboros and Tiamat tried to learn how to control their new bodies—and, at the same time, refused to let go of him for even a second.
"Where is the Phoenix Feather?" Ouroboros asked, her voice filled with anticipation.
Strax didn't respond immediately; he simply raised his hand and made a subtle motion in the air. The next moment, he pulled the feathers from an invisible space, manifesting them before their eyes.
Tiamat's gaze narrowed slightly as she watched him access his inventory. "I thought you couldn't use the System anymore," she commented, curiosity evident in her tone.
Strax smirked, twirling the two Black Phoenix Feathers between his fingers. "Technically, I can't. But the inventory is basically an activatable ability, and my magical memory is still intact," he explained calmly. "I may not have direct access to the System's functions, but I can still manipulate any magical effect I need."
He raised the feathers, allowing the light to reflect off their sleek, black surfaces. "Are you sure you want to use this now?" His voice carried a touch of seriousness, making it clear that this choice should not be made lightly.
Ouroboros and Tiamat exchanged a brief glance, as if communicating without words. Then, both turned their gazes back to Strax, their expressions resolute.
"Yes," Ouroboros affirmed, her voice filled with conviction. "We want to feel everything for real. We want to exist not as shadows of what we once were, but as ourselves."
Tiamat nodded. "This body still doesn't feel completely mine. It's like wearing armor that doesn't fit properly… but that will change, won't it?"
Strax sighed, his golden eyes carefully analyzing every detail of their faces. He knew this decision was final. Once the feathers were used, there would be no turning back. They would become fully real, with true bodies, true souls… and that meant they could also truly die.
"So be it," he murmured, handing each of them a feather.
The moment their hands touched the feathers, black flames erupted around their bodies. The fire did not burn but consumed the very essence of the homunculi, dissolving every trace of artificiality still lingering in them. Ouroboros and Tiamat did not scream, did not show fear—they simply closed their eyes and accepted the process.
A shiver ran down Strax's spine as the flames intensified, completely engulfing the two. The ground trembled beneath his feet, and for a moment, he felt an overwhelming pressure, as if the very space around them was folding under the sheer magnitude of the magic.
Then, at the peak of the transformation, a black and golden explosion burst from the center of the flames. Strax raised an arm to shield himself, and when the light finally subsided, they were there.
This time, completely alive.
Ouroboros opened her eyes first, her pupils gleaming with a newfound intensity, a brilliance that had never been there before. She took a deep breath and trembled slightly. "I… I'm breathing." Her voice came out in a whisper, as if she couldn't believe what she was feeling.
Tiamat, beside her, slowly moved her fingers before placing a hand over her chest, feeling her own heartbeat. Her gaze met Strax's, and a soft smile curved her lips. "We did it."
Strax observed them for a moment, feeling a strange mix of pride, relief, and something deeper that he couldn't quite name. Then, without warning, Ouroboros lunged at him, wrapping her arms around his neck and pressing her lips against his.
The initial shock lasted only a second before he returned the kiss. Her lips were warm, alive, pulsing with the energy of a real body. It was no longer just a connection of souls, a distant memory of what they once were.
Tiamat watched for a moment before pulling him to her immediately after, claiming her part of the moment. Her kiss was different—slower, deeper, as if she wanted to savor the feeling of finally being here, truly real.
Strax chuckled softly against her lips as they parted. "Definitely real now."
Ouroboros smiled, her eyes gleaming with pure satisfaction. "And now, you are ours… completely."
Tiamat nodded, her expression carrying something both dangerous and mesmerizing. "No more doubts, no more separation. We are here to stay, Strax."
He looked at the two of them, feeling a wave of emotions wash over him. Yes, now everything was real. More real than it had ever been.
