Ishida pondered, "What might happen if I skip a day's worth of tasks? What sort of punishment would I face?" He mulled over this thought while stepping into his house, setting down all the groceries and ingredients he had picked up for cooking in the kitchen.
After organizing everything, he headed out again, determined to finish the remaining chores he hadn't tackled yet.
About 40 minutes later, he finally reached his last exercise for the day.
"Just one more squat to go," he thought.
With that last squat completed, the task sceen showed: [SQUATS - 100/100] COMPLETED
The moment he finished the quest, just like every other time, all his tiredness vanished, and he felt completely refreshed and at his peak once more.
"So, that's it? No special reward this time?" Ishida wondered, slightly disappointed as he headed into the kitchen to start cooking. "I suppose I'll need to keep up with my sword training," he mused, chopping vegetables. "From what I've heard, the Demon Slayer Corps is holding their final exam in a month. If everything goes well, I might get the chance to join them and become a member soon!" He felt a surge of determination while preparing the ingredients, envisioning his future as part of the Corps.
That afternoon, Ishida committed himself to improving his swordsmanship and honing his combat skills against demons. Although he had managed to defeat demons during the survival quest, he wasn't pleased with his performance. The battles felt more like instinct-driven fights, where he wasn't fully conscious of his actions.
To address this, he began with meditation to enhance his focus, particularly on mastering his breathing techniques. This practice was essential for maintaining concentration during battles.
In his final battle of the survival quest, he had learned a crucial lesson: staying focused and calm was key to winning any fight. Determined to improve, he incorporated these principles into his training routine.
For the next 20 days , Ishida continued with his daily training by himself with the daily task given by the system.
Ishida began with a series of fundamental sword drills. He executed each swing—vertical, horizontal, and diagonal—with meticulous precision. His goal was to ensure every movement was deliberate and controlled, reinforcing muscle memory and perfecting his form.
He transitioned into practicing combination strikes, blending different sword forms into a fluid sequence. This exercise was crucial for developing adaptability and flow in combat, allowing him to transition seamlessly between attacks.
Drawing on the lessons from his previous battles, Ishida focused on refining his Moon Breathing techniques. Starting with the first form "Moonslicing" form, he practiced tracing arcs of light with his blade, visualizing the power and grace of the crescent moon.
He then moved on to the "Crescent Moon Dance," the second form, focusing on its sweeping motion and the precision required to execute it effectively.
To improve his reaction time, Ishida incorporated quick draw exercises. He practiced unsheathing his sword at lightning speed, aiming to surprise any opponent with a swift and powerful initial attack.
Ishida set up an agility ladder on the ground, using it to practice his footwork. Moving quickly and precisely through its rungs, he focused on maintaining balance and speed. This drill was essential for improving his maneuverability in battle.
He set up a series of swinging sandbags, simulating incoming attacks. Ishida practiced dodging and weaving through them, honing his reflexes and ability to evade strikes while keeping his sword at the ready.
In between sword drills, Ishida incorporated short sprints across the garden, enhancing his cardiovascular endurance. These sprints ensured he could maintain energy levels during prolonged battles and quickly reposition himself as needed.
20 days later...
With these training drills for 20 days straight and daily tasks given by the system, Ishida had grown into a more masculine man even with his young age and even his height increased by a good number, from 5.4" to 5.6".

[A.N : One big update is the new names for the breathing style techniques. These have been updated to match the ones from the Demon Slayer wiki, which I should have referred to from the beginning for accurate details, but it's all good now...
