Dc: start in Young Justice

It has been about two weeks since Zane left earth, and took permanent residence on his 'private' planet give or take.

Even though the terraformation and transformation of the planet didn't take much time thanks to his access to the [FD] and multiple drones, bots and other inventions.

The traveling and finding the suitable planet itself is what took over half that time.

With all his responsibilities and projects, spending time with his two ladies and Eve plus finding Kara and then making sure she is in her best condition Zane didn't pay much attention to planet Earth and its shenanigans aside from what little mini drones scouting the planet and keeping and eye here and there, but not that much.

[Young Justice]

Things have been working out good lately, well as good as it gets. There were some ups and down naturally but you can confidentially says the team is growing, in number and quality.

The Team themselves don't actually realize how good things are going for them really.

Zane didn't play around when he was 'bonding' with them, he taught them wholeheartedly and imparted real experience and skills into them.

While Megan still had her 'identity crisis' it didn't distract her mind during missions as one would expect, true she still got 'blackmailed' but she wasn't utterly broken or weak as Queen Bee thought she was.

Artemis was having similar issue, not the same but close. Since there was no 'mole' in the team their relationship was close as ever and never underestimate what a small talk or advice from someone who can listen without judging you can do.

Seriously half of the problems in those 'superheroes' worlds can be solved with simple talk and clearing misunderstanding.

Now the changes that accelerated everything came from Superboy, just like Zane told him he did indeed got contacted by Luthor and every single word that came from his mouth was exactly as Zane explained to him, about his half dna, about Match and about Zane or as he was called [UP] or Ultimate Predator.

Quite ironic but he did get some informations he didn't know before, like Doomsday and stuff. This one really suprised him and didn't need him to act the role. Then after all that came his real purpose or what Zane called 'the stick and carrot' strategy, Luthor gave him the 'shields' and told him there is more from where that came, all he needs in return are informations about Zane.

He didn't even mention Match or the genomorphs as if he didn't care, which is probably true and when Superboy patience was running out did Luthor show his true color and tried to use the brainwashing code Zane had mentioned to him about. It was really hard for Connor to pretend and not lash out but he held on till Luthor was gone.

That was when Connor decided to trust Zane fully and whatever hesitation he had he just threw them out the window and took the serum he was given.

After that Connor didn't hesitate much either and told the team about what happened and that was when all had something to say from Megan to Artemis and even Wally joined to tell them about his serum after he heard about Superboy one's.

It was a really long discussion especially when they had to explain and break down things to their new teammates Rockett and Zatanna.

While Zatanna did have an idea about Zane but the reality went beyond that, watching Zane trashing the league all alone well that left her and Rockett flabbergasted and in a moment of weakness for embarrassing fotos taken by Robin and Megan.

That was a turning point for the whole team, not only their friendship and connection got deeper but their understanding and respect of Zane shifted even more positively.

Maybe it was because of this shift, maybe their efficiency and effectiveness against the Light or maybe the butterfly effect of all of Zane's action started to catch up but this time around there was no brainwashing event.

Wether that was a good thing or a bad thing is yet to be seen...

[Justice League]

The League sadly were not as privileged as the young team, without them knowing they did indeed escape one nasty situation were Zane not there but wether that is good or not no one knows which put more pressure on the League. What with them having to protect the planet and knowing there is some of the most evil, genius and secretive organisation planning and manipulating event behind their back with no clear agendas, not to mention outer threats.

Not that it's something new and never before seen but it doesn't lower the threat and danger level, especially with all the tech and clones being thrown around.

Talking about clones, there is still the matter of Roy Harper aka Speedy and his clone for now called Red Arrow. While Roy is already awake and began rehabilitation after the info dump of the last three years and the new addition of his clone/brother situation. Thankfully Red Arrow's brainwashing was not a big issue to deal with and was deemed corporative enough to help with the Roy situation and the spy work.

Which again showed how advanced and ahead of them the Light is as they knew instantly when Red was no longer in their hands and drove them back to point zero with no advantages and nothing.

Then having Zane out there, knowing his capabilities and threat level even if not malicious is almost driving Batman insane. Any lesser man would have lost it already but it's Batman and the league we are talking about and none of them is any lesser man

Or an alien

Or android.

And thinking about Zane...

"Batman, there is a call from Mount Justice requesting yours and Superman presence specifically Zane is the one who's asking."

It has been a while since I've been here, truly time really goes by when one is enjoying himself.

I decided to finish some of the little loose strings first before going on my multiversal journey, I spent more time with all the women in my life and told them some of my plans, what I discovered in those others universes and what I plan to do.

For some reasons they started making fun of me about me not wanting to be a hero and stuff, I mean I told them how I plan to deal with some of those conquered earths and want to take control and they thought I was doing it because of the goodness of my heart and no matter how I explained it they just wouldn't budge.

So I just ignore them and went with their explanation, truly women are complicated beings.

I mean I just told them there is this earth conquered by some evil guys and I am going to beat the shit out of them and take over everything and they were like 'aww you want to help the planet and beat the bad guys'.

What am I supposed to say after that?

Another issue was Kara herself, after she woke up and I explained some stuff to her which she took offense to me reading her memories and was cautious and suspicious at first until I explained to her how I need to be sure she is not some evil being or space criminal or stuff even if I didn't need to, but with Serly's help and telling her that thanks to those memories I know who and where her cousin (Superman) is she made a 180 and was back to her bubbly self.

Truly every Supergirl personality is almost the same, that's why she is a favorite of mine.

Anyway I taught her some things she needs to know before bringing her here, like the language and how to control her power as humans will feel squishy to her plus the supersenses may drive her crazy if uncontrollable.

Telling her what her cousin and his merry band do, what my relationship with them and the Young Justice look likes and after showing her some of the cool stuff on my planet and giving her a good suit that store yellow sun energy and her time with Serly, I am sure she has a good impression on me atleast.

If she was older I would have invited her to stay on my planet or tried to make a deeper friendship or connection with her but she was 14-15 years old mentally, the last thing she remembers is her planet destruction and her responsibility to her 'younger' cousin who is now almost double her age.

Yeah I don't really want to adopt her and her psychological problems nor she will appreciate me keeping her back from her cousin.

Honestly she will do much better with the young team, so after some therapy and adjusting to her body new powers telling her to keep some stuff secrets and helping her with some stuff we were ready to bring her to planet earth and introduce her.

That's why I am now here talking to the little guys after telling Tornado to call in for Batman and Superman before bringing her to the team.

Artemis: "so big guy where have you been lately and what are you up to?"

"Ah you know, flying in space seeing new stuff making a home on some planet the normal"

*multiple Snicker*

Artemis: " yeah the 'normal' alright"

Rocket: " wait so you live in space?"

"Ah you must be Rocket, I saw some news and pictures about you nice to meet you and nice tech you have there, in case they didn't tell you I'm Zane I used to be the mentor of these guys.

Yes like I said I found a desolate planet and with my own tech I made it my own where no one will bother me"

Zatanna: " It's nice seeing you again Zane and Thank you again for what you did for my dad last time I'm really grateful."

"Think nothing about it, between you and me Fate is a little asshole to be honest"

They all chuckled a little at that.

Rocket: "you guys only said he lived here and trained together not that he was you mentor!"

Zane noticing how they were trying to awkwardly not look at him chuckled a bit and then with a feigned offense said " you guys didn't tell them about all the bonding exercises we did! Well maybe we should do one with the new addition before bats and sups come"

They all shivered noticeably at my words except Zatanna and Rocket who were watching with some amusement and curiosity wanting to know more about this 'exercise'.

Robin: " *ahem* Zane don't worry about that we are training diligently" he looked around and all of them nodded in agreement so he continued "so anyway what are you doing here and why do you need Batman and Superman, you know the last time they, uhm, how to say it."

"Haha don't worry about it, you can say I brought a gift or more like someone which can smooth our relationship a bit probably"

All of them perked their ears at that and before they start asking questions a boom tube was heard with the introduction of Batman and Superman, it seems they took it seriously if Superman took some times off to come.

"Zane, what are you doing here" Batman true to himself was direct and didn't even try to make things comfortable as, the moment he spoke everyone started feeling akward even Superman was feeling weird despite not showing it.

Atleast he's not in an attack position or whatever, of course it doesn't mean he's not tense and on guard, even Superman is the same alas a little bit less.

"What's up Bats, Sups I hope you are not holding grudge about last time" I said with a little smirk noticing how Batman is trying hard not to twitch, and Superman is not hiding how uncomfortable he is anymore, he was never in this position before so it's hard for him to act like the tough guy when he isn't the the strongest guy in the room.

"Cut to the chase Zane" said Batman with his infamous glare.

"Alright alright you don't have to be this aggressive you know, it's bad example for the team." Shaking my head as if admonishing him for his bad behavior the young team behind me were trying hard to hold their smile back but with a glare from Batman they tensed again.

"Anyway, as you probably know I was in space doing some travel and discovery and other stuff and I found something that will interest you or more importantly you Superman"

Sups raised an eyebrow at that "and what will be interesting to me?"

"Well family of course"

Before anyone can say anything I pretend to press some buttons on my left hand bracelet and opened my cyan blue-green portal- I do have portals like the boom-tube but I am redesigning it to look like my portal power and developing one like Cecil instatnt teleportation- and from it came Kara with the suit I designed for her with the S symbol and color of Superman.

Everyone stood there flabbergasted except Batman of course who squinted his eyes even more, Superman was naturally the most surprised one to the point he didn't react much when she flew at him hugging him and calling him Kal-el.

"Everyone meet Kara Zor-el, Superman's older cousin."

Their looks is just hilarious.

After a little bit more explanation and Superman and Kara's talk in kryptonian language I left them to their own device said goodbye and went on my own.

Almost all the events are following the same plot till now, with adjustment.

Now that the young justice are dealing with things better and with more maturity thanks to my small advices back then and with the mole already being known and not interfering, I guess the Light is facing a setback and are more cautious.

Last I checked Ivo is still in prison with brain damage, and is not a robot. Batman should be keeping an eye on Strange so there probably was no moving and changing prisoners behind his back.

And since I didn't hear about any brainwashed League members having a flight in space or doing battles I guess that event didn't happen, hopefully never.

Are they acting more cautiously now because the kids efficiency and not being able to manipulate them or because of the missing link and knowledge?

There's no news about the real Roy nor the clone but since he's not detained or something maybe the League is playing a double edged sword game.

All is good but the bigger picture is starting to change and soon whatever knowledge I have will be only reference and I will have to keep watching more closly and/or maybe interfere directly with some things if I want thing to go my way.

Meh I was never relying on this knowledge anyway, I just tried to look for advantages as they come but guess now I have to chase them my own.

Guess I will soon have some action of my own. Can't say I am not little excited.

Now that Serly is back to her work and War Woman and Eve back to their universe with some extra protection of my own like invulnerability in Holly's case and a minor one for Eve, I can focus on my journey and I already have a universe in my mind.
