DC HERO AT MARVEL

Chapter 111: Chapter 111 Crisis Resolved! Harry Counterattack

Harry had an excellent memory, and in the heightened tension of tonight, his mind was firing on all cylinders.

In a flash, he recalled Anton grand plans for DC Films.

"We've already published novels and comics for Batman and Green Arrow… In addition, we're considering developing a Green Arrow TV series, along with related video games…"

"Of course, films are the cornerstone. Through them, we can establish these characters' popularity the fastest, which is why Cyborg and Superman are such critical pieces for DC future."

Harry distinctly remembered how Anton had emphasized the term "fictional characters" with an oddly weighted tone.

It was as though Anton had foreseen this moment.

Anton had spoken with absolute certainty, as if it was inevitable that Green Arrow, like Batman, would transcend the boundary of fiction and emerge into reality.

And now, here he was.

"Unbelievable…"

Harry eyes widened as he connected the dots.

He thought of Batman and the way his father, Norman Osborn—the Green Goblin—was currently imprisoned by the Caped Crusader.

"Father…"

Harry emotions surged, his body trembling as he stood before the surveillance monitors.

He knew it: tonight battle was over.

The wolves circling Osborn Industries, salivating at its downfall, would retreat in defeat.

And it was all thanks to Batman, Green Arrow, and his father secret preparations.

"Excellent!"

"Batman! Green Arrow! Father!"

Harry clenched his fists, exhaling deeply, almost ready to shout his triumph to the world.

Though victory was not yet complete, he believed success was now within arm reach.

On the Battlefield

"Green Arrow?"

Cromwell was dumbfounded. He wasn't much for comics or novels, preferring a stiff drink to pass the time.

He'd certainly never heard of a man in a green suit calling himself "Green Arrow."

From the way the man scowled at the mention of another name, it was clear he didn't appreciate being mistaken for someone else.

Cromwell swallowed hard, his throat dry with fear.

"I'm sorry…"

He hesitated before apologizing.

"Forget it," Green Arrow clone replied with a dismissive wave. "Just remember this: Hawkeye is my defeated opponent. I don't take kindly to being compared to a loser."

Defeated opponent?

Cromwell eyes widened in astonishment.

He wasn't well-versed in Hawkeye exploits, but he'd heard enough to know that the archer was a formidable force—a lone sniper who had once decimated an entire squad of armed soldiers from a fortified high ground.

To claim that Hawkeye was a mere defeated foe?

Cromwell swallowed hard again, fully comprehending that the man standing beside him was far more dangerous than he had imagined.

The remaining Hammer operatives overheard this exchange, and though they couldn't piece together all the details, one thing was clear: they were in deep trouble.

"Out of arrows, eh? Open fire!"

Someone shouted the command, and the Hammer soldiers rallied for one last desperate assault.

Bang!

The first shot was fired, the muzzle flash lighting up the night as the bullet hurtled toward Cromwell and Green Arrow.

But Green Arrow had already anticipated this.

With fluid precision, he moved, rolling toward a fallen Hammer soldier. Pulling an arrow from the corpse, he nocked it onto his bowstring in one seamless motion.

Twang!

The arrow flew, its tip glowing faintly.

Boom!

It struck the first shooter square in the chest, detonating on impact and scattering shrapnel into the surrounding ranks.

The battlefield descended into chaos once more.

Green Arrow didn't stop.

He moved with relentless efficiency, reclaiming arrows from the fallen and turning them back on their former allies.

Within moments, the Hammer forces were routed.

Harry Triumph

In the underground safe room, Harry watched the tide of battle turn decisively.

Green Arrow decisive intervention had ensured that Osborn forces not only survived but emerged victorious.

For Harry, tonight marked a turning point.

This victory wasn't just about securing Osborn Industries—it was a declaration of his resilience and determination to carry on his father legacy.

"Thank you… Batman. Thank you… Green Arrow," Harry whispered, his voice filled with gratitude and resolve.

As the last remnants of Hammer forces fled into the night, Harry knew this was just the beginning.

Tomorrow, he would rise stronger than ever, ready to take on anyone who dared challenge the Osborn name.

The arrow flew from the bowstring, piercing through flesh and lodging into the enemy heart, leaving a trail of blood in its wake.

The momentum of the attackers, which had briefly surged, came to an abrupt halt. Fear gripped them as they collectively retreated, afraid that a moment hesitation would result in their deaths by that man arrows.

As they withdrew from the estate, the Osborn armed forces considered giving chase.

"Don't follow them!"

Cromwell gritted his teeth. "Let them go. We've suffered enough losses today! When Mr. Osborn returns, he'll make sure they pay double for what they've done!"

It was clear that the "Mr. Osborn" Cromwell referred to was not Harry, but Norman Osborn.

Cromwell was privy to Norman secrets.

On the night of Batman incursion, Cromwell had been in charge of the estate security.

Yet, before he even had a chance to confront Batman, the caped crusader had already made off with the Lizard.

Additionally, Green Goblin, who had also failed to return that night, was taken by Batman as well.

Cromwell understood the transformation Norman underwent—resulting from the human enhancement serum derived from the Lizard experiments.

Thus, when news came back that Green Goblin had been captured, Cromwell was not surprised.

Not long after, he met with Harry and revealed the full truth.

Harry was shocked at first.

Following this, Harry ran to the Daily Bugle and sought confirmation from Anton, who gave him a definitive answer.

Finally, Cromwell learned of Norman whereabouts from Harry himself.

He knew that the man would return one day.

With that thought, Cromwell glanced at the man before him.

That remark was certainly not aimed at Green Arrow.

The thought passed quickly, and Cromwell turned to his comrades, issuing orders: "However, I want some of you to patrol the estate—just in case!"

"Understood."

The men nodded and dispersed to secure the area, ensuring the battle aftermath was managed.

Others began tending to the wounded and clearing the bodies.

There was little visible grief over the losses—these mercenaries had long been accustomed to the life-and-death nature of their work.

Cromwell sighed as he surveyed the scene, then turned to Green Arrow doppelgänger.

"Sir, whoever you are, there is someone who would like to thank you in person."

"I'm here!"

Harry voice rang out as he approached the two men.

The battle had barely ended, and Harry wasted no time appearing, his gaze fixed intently on Green Arrow.

"You're Batman companion, aren't you?"

Though phrased as a question, his tone left no room for doubt.

Cromwell was startled.

Yet, he quickly accepted this revelation.

If Green Arrow wasn't Batman ally—or perhaps even under his command—then it was unlikely he could have defeated someone as formidable as the "Hawkeye" Cromwell had heard about.

After all, defeating Hawkeye was no small feat.

"That correct."

Green Arrow confirmed.

"My father…"

Harry hesitated before blurting out his question. "Is he recovering?"

"Not yet."

Green Arrow shook his head. "Focus on your own matters first. We won't interfere with Osborn Industries' internal disputes, but Batman has promised Norman that your safety will be ensured."

He paused. "If danger arises again, you know where to find us."

With that, Green Arrow didn't linger.

He stepped back, disappearing into the shadows like a phantom.

"I understand now!"

Harry muttered under his breath as he watched the figure vanish, taking a deep breath before turning to Cromwell.

"Cromwell, the biggest crisis has passed. Prepare yourselves! Gather the thumbs of every fallen enemy and bag them. Tomorrow, as the majority shareholder, I'll convene a board meeting!"

His expression turned icy.

"Tomorrow, it our turn to strike back!"
