DC: Becoming Supreme With Technology ( I Beat Superman)

Chapter 8: Boom, A Nuclear Explosion, Here Comes Doomsday.

Ethan hovered over the battlefield, his Scarab armor straining to keep up with the raw power emanating from Doomsday. His HUD screamed warnings as he analyzed the creature's every move. The monster was a walking engine of destruction, each step radiating seismic force, each swing capable of leveling a building.

"I can't fight this thing," Ethan muttered, gripping the Null Rod tightly in his hands. His mind raced for a solution. "But maybe I can slow it down."

Ethan aimed the Null Rod at Doomsday and unleashed its energy beam, the focused radiation designed to destabilize molecular bonds. The beam hit Doomsday square in the chest, and for a moment, the creature paused, a guttural growl escaping its throat.

Ethan's heart leaped. "It worked!"

But his hope was short-lived. Doomsday roared, its fiery eyes locking onto Ethan. It charged at him with terrifying speed, shrugging off the effects of the Null Rod like it was nothing more than an annoyance.

Ethan tried to evade, his thrusters flaring as he darted to the side, but he wasn't fast enough. A blast of red-hot heat vision seared through the air, striking his chest and sending him hurtling like a comet

Ethan crashed into a rocky outcrop, his armor sparking and cracking from the impact. His chest burned with pain, and his HUD flickered as it tried to reboot. He struggled to stand, but his limbs felt like lead.

Doomsday loomed over him, a massive hand reaching out to crush him.

"This is it," Ethan thought grimly, bracing for the end.

But the crushing blow never came.

A flash of steel, followed by a fierce battle cry, shattered the moment. Wonder Woman descended from the sky, her sword slicing through Doomsday's arm with precision and power. The monster howled in rage, stumbling back.

Diana landed between Ethan and Doomsday, her shield raised and her eyes blazing with determination. "You've done enough," she said without looking back. "Get to safety."

Ethan hesitated, but he knew she was right. His armor was compromised, and he was out of his depth. He stumbled to the side, watching in awe as Wonder Woman engaged the beast.

Wonder Woman attacked with a ferocity that matched Doomsday's berserk rage. Her sword clashed against its spiked hide, her lasso of truth glowing as she tried to bind the creature's limbs.

For a time, it seemed like she was holding her own. Diana's speed and skill allowed her to land devastating blows while evading Doomsday's lumbering strikes. She ducked under a swing and slashed at its legs, forcing the monster to kneel.

But Doomsday was relentless. With every injury, it seemed to grow stronger, its regenerative abilities pushing it further into a frenzy.

It caught Diana off-guard with a sudden burst of speed, slamming her into the ground. Before she could recover, Doomsday was on top of her, its fists raining down in a barrage of brutal punches.

The earth cracked beneath them, each impact shaking the battlefield. Diana tried to block with her shield, but even her Amazonian strength couldn't hold against the onslaught. Blood streaked her face, and her shield shattered under the relentless force.

Just as Doomsday reared back for a killing blow, the unmistakable roar of the Bat-Jet filled the air. Ethan turned to see Batman's sleek aircraft streaking toward the battlefield, its guns blazing.

The high-caliber rounds peppered Doomsday's back, forcing the creature to abandon Diana and turn its attention skyward. The bullets didn't harm it, but they irritated it enough to draw its focus.

Ethan used the distraction to crawl toward Diana, who groaned as she tried to sit up. Her armor was dented, her sword lying several feet away.

"Can you move?" Ethan asked, his voice strained.

Diana nodded weakly. "I've had worse."

Above them, Batman continued his assault, the Bat-Jet circling Doomsday and unleashing missiles. The explosions rocked the battlefield, creating a haze of fire and smoke.

But Doomsday was unfazed. It roared in frustration, its body glowing with an ominous red light. Ethan's HUD began blaring warnings.

"That's not good," he muttered

With a deafening roar, Doomsday released a massive energy explosion, a shockwave of raw power that rippled outward in all directions.

The Bat-Jet was caught in the blast, its wings torn off as it spiraled out of control. Ethan watched in horror as the jet crashed into the ground, erupting in flames.

The shockwave swept through the battlefield, slamming into Ethan and Diana like a freight train. They were thrown through the air, tumbling across the ground before coming to a stop.

Ethan's armor crackled and sparked, its systems barely holding together. He coughed, tasting blood, and looked around for Diana. She lay a few feet away, struggling to rise.

Doomsday stood at the center of the storm, its energy crackling around it like a living inferno. The ground beneath it was scorched and molten, the air thick with heat and ash.

Ethan clenched his fists, his mind racing for a solution. "We can't beat this thing," he thought. "Not like this."

But he wasn't ready to give up. Not yet.

Ethan's armor hummed with residual power as he stood beside Wonder Woman, their eyes fixed on the monstrous figure of Doomsday. The energy storm had subsided, but its effects were still evident—the battlefield was scorched and ruined, and the air was thick with the stench of destruction.

"Ready for another round?" Diana asked, her voice steady but tired.

"Not really," Ethan admitted, tightening his grip on the Null Rod. His armor sparked, its systems barely holding together, but he had no intention of backing down.

"Good," Diana said, raising her sword. "Let's make it count."

The two launched their attack together. Wonder Woman darted in with her shield and sword, aiming for Doomsday's joints and weak points, while Ethan provided cover from the air, firing concentrated energy blasts from his armor.

This time, their coordination paid off. Diana's strikes found purchase, cutting deep into Doomsday's thick hide. The monster roared in pain, its regeneration struggling to keep up with the relentless assault.

Ethan targeted the creature's exposed wounds, using the Null Rod to destabilize its tissue. For the first time, they saw real damage—chunks of Doomsday's armor fell away, revealing raw, pulsating flesh beneath.

But the victory was short-lived. Doomsday roared with fury, its eyes blazing as it retaliated. It moved faster than before, its strikes more ferocious. Ethan barely had time to evade as the monster's massive hand swung toward him.

He tried to counterattack, but Doomsday grabbed him mid-air. Its grip was like a vice, crushing his armor with terrifying strength. Ethan cried out in pain as warning lights flashed across his HUD.

"This is it," he thought, panic setting in as Doomsday began pulling him apart.

Just when the pressure became unbearable, a blur of blue and red streaked across the battlefield. A thunderous impact followed, and Doomsday was sent flying backward, releasing Ethan in the process.

Ethan crashed to the ground, gasping for air. He looked up to see Superman, his iconic cape billowing as he hovered in the air.

"Need a hand?" Superman asked, his tone calm but determined.

Ethan nodded weakly. "Perfect timing."
