Chapter 9: The first mission
Oscar's point of view.
Our first ever mission was so smooth, fast, sharp and went clean.
With no record of father or mother for me, no family or relatives, and with the way we were treated at the orphanage home, if someone told me I would have money that would be close to three and a half million dollars at this stage of mine, I would surely doubt it.
Thanks to Ace, who came up with that beautiful plan that made father give us the money we acquired from the hijacking.
When Ace told us about her plan, it seemed like it was child's play.
Our eldest sister had a gun, so did I. Near the bank we were getting the money from, there were lots of police check points on the route.
That was the reason we diverted their attention. We left home with two cars; father's car driven by Ace, and mother's car driven by Helen.
We waited for the delivery van to arrive, and when it did, Ace dropped us and Helen started chasing her.
We didn't even step into the bank. A room has been created for delivery vehicles to arrive in, and gold, money or whatever highly prohibited documents it brought will be taken from it.
I was the one in charge of that area. The room had a rolling door, and once that rolling door closed, there was no opening it from outside.
Which means I have to be perfect and smart to play my way in. If not, the whole mission failed.
I disguised myself as a power company agent to have access to the area.
Oscar was the one that got us the info about the company that the bank uses.
I saw the rolling door was rolling down to get closed, but I intentionally waited for it to be half closed before I spoke to them.
"Guys, I work with the time. Do I have to wait until you guys are done before I do my work? Some other companies are waiting for me".
They ignored me. That very moment, the door stopped rolling, and it continued after just about three seconds.
I was about to take out my hidden gun and force my way in, then the door stopped and rolled up a bit. One of the guys then invited me in.
Earlier on our way to the bank, a guy was waiting for bus, and he was holding a tools bag.
"Collect that bag, we will need it". Ace shouted.
We were going to negotiate with the guy. But Helen, being Helen, snatched it from him. She's the toughest of us.
When I was called in by the bank guys, I dropped that bag on the ground. I guess they would stay with me and they did.
I started pretending to be looking for a faulty connection to move close to the two guys.
I am well assured that they were not enough for me to knock off.
I moved close enough to them and knocked the first one off. Before the second one could alert the security, I knocked him off too.
Mince had already been in the curtilage, I asked her to join me in the garage to offload the money to the bags we were carrying.
Ace was the one that hacked their CCTV as she was driving. Others were securing our coming in and exiting the bank with the distraction of asking the security personnel a series of questions.
We didn't have to change our clothes. I was the only one that did, because of the disguise. We don't have to, for Ace has hacked their CCTV.
Mince point of view.
When we were done with getting the money from the thief and into our bags, we quickly left the bank without creating a scene or making a suspicious move.
We arrived at our designated meeting spot. We all agreed on two places to meet, one for Vesta and Swiss, the other for Oscar and me.
Oscar and I waited for almost an hour before the two cars showed up. They parked in front of us and Ace opened the door to pick us up.
I was worried about what could be the hold up as they didn't show up on time. When we were in the car going home, I asked what delayed them.
The delay was when they dropped us and the chase began. They were chasing each other like it was real, and the police went after them.
Ace made sure she got the attention of all the police in that area before she put a foot on her break. They kept running even when all the police vehicles were already on them.
When she stopped, and they asked her why and what she was running from, she pointed to Helen's car which had already stopped behind her.
She told the police that the car behind her was trailing her and that's why she was running.
Helen, who was still in her own car and refusing to come out, was asked why the trailing. She responded to them that she was her sister.
The police confirmed they were sisters with lots of questions, and when they finally confirmed they were sisters about an hour later, they were released.
Charles's point of view.
My job is to scout around the world for corrupted people's information and lay it out for my daughters to get the mission done.
That mission they accomplished was not the first I intended they would be going, but when I saw a beam of light in the darkness, I traced it down to the source.
The light I saw in the darkness was a drug dealer's order for his drugs was seized by anti-drug agencies.
He wasn't caught though, but he had lost a lot, almost all the money he got.
To raise money for the continuation of his business, he proposed a business with a wealthy man.
It really was a fake business proposal. But, fortunate for him, he was lucky to dupe the wealthy man to a sum of twenty million dollars.
The money was delivered to him in cash, and he was going to deposit it into his drug dealer's business associate account.
Once I got that information, I saw it as a perfect test for the daughters to use as their first mission, and that was the money they got from the van.
Our mission, in summary, is to retrieve stolen money and divide it into three parts, one for the owner anonymously. At least he didn't lose it all. One for us, we worked for it, and the last one for the less privileged, they must eat too.
But this is the daughter's first ever try. They should be encouraged for their training all these years, and also their commitment.
That was the reason all the money was given to them to share among themselves.
And that was only a test, just to know if they were ready. And now, they will be going to a place more secured and dangerous than a bank.
We all planned this together as a family. Their mother would be assisting from home, I would be in communication with them from home too, and the daughters would be doing their job at the secured place.
