" How did you know my parents?"

" As I said, you don't need to know me."

Aaron said tracing his finger on Mina's face, Mina felt disgusted and moved back, she yanked Aaron's hand away from her.

"Don't touch me."

Aaron chuckled ;

"Such fiery girl, I like you."

Mina rolled her eyes at him

"You're not serious, are you?"

She left the room because being in the same room with a psychopath was something else

"Let's wait for the fun."

At 12:30 am Mina left her work, she went straight home since she was done with her evening shift. Reaching home, she took a bath and laid on her bed. This time when she came home her mom was sound asleep.

" What am I going to do now? I've lost my morning job."Mina murmured to herself

She drifted to sleep, she promised herself to wake up as early as possible to find another job. Mina was startled in her sleep, the sound of glass breaking could be heard. The first thing that came to mind was to check the kitchen, rushing to the kitchen she found no one there. She heard the sound again, but this time it was outside the house. Mina checked the time

"2:30 am?" she said

She peeped through the window to check what was going on. She turned pale when she saw what was happening outside. Her only car was being destroyed by gangsters, however, what hit her hard was not the car but the fact that she had forgotten her salary in her car. Mina didn't know what to do, she panicked. She can't get out, she perfectly that if she gets out, she will die. Mina had no choice but to listen to her car being destroyed. She brushed her hand in her hair, she teared up when she remembered that her salary was in the car. She couldn't handle it anymore, she coiled herself up on the sofa and cried silently.

The sun rays hit her face on the sofa, Mina tried blocking it with her hand. In the process, she remembered last night making her wake up swiftly. She dashed outside, her car was in bad shape, but she didn't mind that. She searched for the money since that was the only thing she was interested in. She sighed when she found the money. No one had to tell her twice, she rushed toward Mr Allan's house, the landlord.

Allan crowed when he heard a banging on his door, he was ready to scold that person

" Mina, are you crazy? It's barely 6:30, what the hell do you want?"

" I brought your money, Mr Allan ".

Hearing the word money, Allan's face brightened, and he snatched the money from Mina. He counted it in front of her.

" Good, good. Now run along. I still need to sleep."
