[Vol.4] Quest 373.6- Forbidden Room
Following Gemini, Ryuu is impressed by the size of Elysium’s domain.
“And this is the pool.”
But Ryuu was more impressed by the number of rooms there were.
“And this is a guest room.”
“This is the bounce room.”
“This one is a cloud room."
“How many rooms are there!?” Ryuu said, flabbergasted by it all.
“Hmm… several. Don’t tell him, but the boss made so many for his kids.”
“Really?”
“Yes. As much as he wants to separate himself from his mortal life, he is still emotionally attached to you and his wives and kids.”
Ryuu smiles ear to ear.
“That is lovely. I will be sure to keep this between us.”
‘Heh. I can see why.’ Gemini thought. ‘That’s a one-in-a-million smile. Far better than Virgo’s smile.’
Gemini resumed showing Ryuu the rest of the rooms when they came across another knight spinning their elegant yet brutal-looking spear around.
Whirl~ Whirl~
Whirl~ Whirl~
The knight in question looked very much like a holy knight, with white and gold armor and a long skirt. Her helmet had six eyes, and her long chestnut hair was made into a braid reminiscent of a scorpion’s stinger.

Her height was a bit taller than Leo's, and her presence was bigger than Aries's. She had a whole other level of strength compared to him.
“Oh, Scorpio!”
“Hm?” She stops her actions and looks at the two. “Gemini’s clone and Lady Ryuu.” She makes a refined and elegant bow before stretching her hand and catching her spear. “What brings you two here?”
“Boss asked me to show his wives the place.”
“That would take a whole week, given the nature of this place. The Hydras aren’t up and running yet.”
“Oh? Are they almost ready?”
“The Lord said in another week or so. Caesar has been tinkering now and again.”
“So why are you here spinning your spear?” Ryuu asked. “This place seems rather cramped."
“I am guarding this room.” She rests her spear on her shoulder. The spear points to a solid black door.
Looking at the door, Ryuu felt nothing.
“…It has no handles?”
'It looks like a black wall?’
“No, but it is very dangerous.”
“Is it part of the trials?”
“I will not lie to you, as it will be worthless. Yes. This door is the third part of the trial.”
“Third part!?”
'How many trials did he make!?’
“That is all I am willing to indulge in. If you wish to know, you will need to pass the first and second trials. But if you need a nice room to visit, I suggest the garden room. Maybe even show her the first floor.”
“You know the boss doesn’t want anyone on the first floor,” Gemini said.
“Why is that?” Ryuu asked.
“Because the only thing there are are flowers. The boss wanted to do something with it but left it empty till he could figure something out.”
“The museum, then,” Scorpio suggested.
“Naw, my other guy is there with Malion. Plus, it’s very, very long, and big, and very grand.”
“Is it really?” Ryuu asked. “How big could it possibly be?”
“Big enough to wear you out of excitement. Trust me, your fellow bride-in-law is taking a break from how much she has seen.”
“Hmm… well, why not show her to the lord’s room? He has already finished it.”
“Has he?” Gemini responded. “How can you tell?”
“I am the Grand Spirit of Unpredictable Precision. I am precise on many things.”
“Except knowing the first floor is under construction!” Gemini said it with a snarky tone of voice.
“Quiet you. Bonk!” She hit him with the flat of her spear.
“Ow! Come on! You know that weighs like 30 pounds!”
“Anyway.” She slightly smiled at Ryuu. “It has been a pleasure to meet you. I am sure my lord’s mood will be better than usual.”
“Has his mood been bad?”
“Not in the bad sense, but he has been rather sad since he got to work. Since he came back as a god, he wished to spend more time with his family, but... Obligations call to him. Not to mention the years he spent traveling and bettering himself.”
“His obligations... what exactly do they entail to have spirits of Nox’s caliber here? And can I ask how long he has been traveling?”
“Well, that’s something for the future. Better hurry along. I have no place to tell you something that should be reserved for him to speak on.”
Ryuu nodded. She would like to hear it from Elysium’s mouth, not another.
“Hm. It was nice to meet you, Miss Scorpio.” Ryuu bowed and followed Gemini.
“…Hmmm.”
Scorpio watched as Ryuu left with Gemini.
'My what a total shift. Your next life, Ryuulu, is certainly something. I think I prefer Ryuu over you.’
Second floor, Acheron Lake.
Sitting on a rock was a green-haired, pointy-eared beauty wearing a very sophisticated, detailed helmet that covered all but her mouth.
Her attire was a mix of a knight and a bard, with very few metal pieces of armor on her and more fabric. Her overall appearance was green, brown, and gold, with a small cape with a cloud pattern.
“Acho! Hm… That’s a first."
“Are you getting sick? Virgo?” said a spirit.
“Mmm… I don’t think so. Oh, can you create a waterfall people could walk under? It can be so romantic and peaceful, Acheron!”
“No problem!” said the Spirit, Acheron. “(Terrain Command)! [Elysium Acheron]!”
He raised his hand, and the land moved, and sure enough, a waterfall formed.
