NOVEL NEXT Chapter 24: Terra Crafters......
After half a day's travel we reach back to surface with Shades back in my shadow. My today's plan is to finish my shop and craft a few more items to sell after its open.
On the way to my home I got quite a few stares. Apparently I got a bit famous for my solo dungeon diving while being a Falnaless, taming a monster and most of all for my Kame Hame ha the other day. During these days my name or well my alias 'Shadow demon' was quite spread in the city, mainly in adventurer community and many Gods are snooping around to take me in for my strength. But when you have so many choice won't you be more picky?
Anyway I put those thoughts at the back of my mind as I entered my home. Crystal has already prepared meal for us as I have already informed her of our arrival time.
While those ten days I and Shades both were grinding our way through dungeon, Crystal also used her time reading about various things in the books other than decorating the base. One of them was cooking, although not as good as hostess of fertility but still very good from my standards, Shades also love her cooking.

After two hours of lazing around its time to get to the work. After reaching my work shop the first thing I did was upgrading my forge. Yup it can't melt strong metals completely. The blacksmiths use brute force hammer their way through hot metal while I like to completely melting them.
First I call Crystal to help me melt and refine the ores of orichalcum and adamantite. After it was refined to its purest state I start putting them into five molds to get four slabs of 1 X 0.8 X 0.1 meter super alloy and one slab of 1 X 1 X 0.1 meter super alloy than join them by pouring semi solid alloy on the corners, after that I place my all remaining 3 fire elemental stones on left, right and top rectangular slabs as well as my last metal elemental stone at the back square slab connecting them with fire and energy runes and mithril wire for better mana conductivity then letting them solidify with Crystal's cold flames.
And to give them final touches I used normal stone to cover the bare metal forge and made a square window led out of remaining obsidian. After it was complete Crystal left me alone not to disturb me.
In the end my forge looks like a classic medieval stone forge just it's all square from front 1 X 1 meter and 0.8 meter deep with a black cover that can stop the heat from coming out. The metal walls were 0.1 meter or 10 cm thick and extra 10 cm thickness for stone layer.
As for the rest of ores they are turn into cubic block of 10 cm each. 12 blocks of orichalcum, 13 blocks of adamantite and 18 blocks of mithril were left. All extremely pure. Purity that can only be achieved through filtering the molten metals and not by just hammering again and again.
Now its time to make the heavy work bench. I also have to separate my crafting room from my forge for convivence, so I did just that putting a wall in the middle. I also put the entrance door at the front side of my crafting room and the door to the forge is at the right wall. So no can directly entry to forge now.
Crafting bench was way more easier just some slabs of metal and a thin sheet of anti-magic crystals I got from that water dragon.

I spend a total six hours making my forge, crafting bench, splitting the rooms and making the furniture. After that half a hour more on setting up all furnitures and completing the base.
Currently we were on the third floor eating our dinner and making small chit chat.
"Today while I was on grocery shopping I heard a interesting news. Apparently Loki Familia is about to go on a deep dungeon exploration in a few days, reaching depth no one has reach after Zeus and Hera Familia for over a decade." Crystal shared a piece news she got while shopping.
Now a days Crystal is more of a super housekeeper than a mage and she enjoys it, more than fighting for some reason. Maybe she don't like bullying weak monsters?
"Hmm, interesting but that's not our concern. For now lets keep to ourselves and not mingle with others. Anything else you hear?" I replied, although we have strong fire power but still unnecessary trouble is not something I want at this moment.
"Hmm let me think, someone call sword princess defeated Udaeus, monster rex of 37th floor alone. Except that nothing special happen." she said after thinking a bit.
"So nothing too special, ha." I mused, Its good, stable environment is all we need for starting our business.

Next day I again entered the forge to make items for my shop and as a proud crafter I craft all second class equipment with different special alloys according to need. As for main attraction I made a couple of fire aspect iron swords (minecraft), a few unbreakable enchanted armor with my super alloy which were first class items (rare grade) and star of the day a diamond staff with regeneration potions (terraria).
And by afternoon shop was all loaded with my wares, ready to sell.
"Hey Crystal, can you be the shop keeper of our store." I asked Crystal who was currently reading a book while lying on a sofa.
"Yes, why not master." She said in a cheerful tone as always. Than she pick up the book she was reading and go to the counter while I open the front door and hang the sign of our store 'Terra Crafters' for future customers.
Than I left to buy some more obsidian. If possible meteor rocks, volcanic stones and other odd things I can find.

After a couple of hours around 4 PM when I return I found some some adventurers already checking my ware. Well what do you expect. Our base is at the front of a busy street and I already have a couple of eyes on me or .....some just came for Crystal.
"Hey will this potion really work over time, healing any wound for next 8 minutes as said in the note." someone ask Crystal and her simple answer was yes till you are not a missing whole chunk of body.
"I will buy this fire sword." said a old timer, experienced looking adventurer. For those who knows their stuff will immediately know that these were not your everyday magic sword but something more.
