Chapter 127: Goku Vs Goku Black and going to Zeno
The battlefield was set under the ominous skies above Capsule Corporation. Goku, already transformed into Super Saiyan, faced off against his dark doppelgänger, Goku Black. The air crackled with energy as the two stared each other down.
"So, are you just gonna stand there, or are you going to transform?" Goku asked, his golden aura flickering around him.
Goku Black's lips curled into a dark smile, but his teeth clenched, betraying his frustration. "I don't need transformations to defeat a mortal like you."
His words were sharp, but his wild, uncoordinated attacks painted a different picture. Goku dodged effortlessly, studying his opponent's movements. "You're strong, but you're fighting recklessly. What's wrong?"
Black snarled, his strikes growing fiercer. "Enough of your prattling!"
Just as the battle was heating up, a faint glow surrounded Goku Black—the Time Ring on his finger began to activate, pulling him back into his own timeline. "This isn't over!" he spat, his voice echoing ominously as his form began to fade.
But before he could disappear entirely, Bell appeared out of nowhere, his Destroyer aura radiating a calm yet terrifying intensity. With a casual raise of his hand, Bell unleashed a Hakai. Goku Black's form began to disintegrate, his malevolent energy reduced to nothingness.
"It's done," Bell said coldly, lowering his hand.
As the dust settled, Bell turned to Goku, his gaze sharp and unyielding. "What were you doing, Goku? Asking him questions, letting him escape? If you face an enemy with the power to destroy everything you hold dear, you eliminate them. No hesitation."
Goku scratched the back of his head, his golden aura fading. "I just wanted to understand him, that's all."
"Understanding doesn't matter if you're dead," Bell snapped. "Don't forget that next time."
The reprimand hung in the air, leaving Goku uncharacteristically quiet. Whis, ever the mediator, stepped forward, his staff glowing faintly.
"That Time Ring," he began, "was a clear indication that this Goku Black was not from our present timeline. While Bell's Hakai has erased him, his existence suggests a greater disturbance in the flow of time."
Whis elaborated on the implications of the Time Ring, explaining that its use was tied to the Supreme Kais. Bell, Goku, Beerus, and Whis decided to investigate, their first destination being Universe 10, where Whis sensed a peculiar presence.
Arriving in Universe 10, the group was greeted by Gowasu, the Universe 10 Supreme Kai, and his apprentice, Zamasu. The apprentice exuded a quiet intensity, his green skin and white hair giving him a regal yet calculating appearance.
"Visitors from Universe 7?" Gowasu greeted, bowing politely. "What brings you here?"
"We're investigating temporal disturbances," Whis said, his tone light but firm. "Your apprentice seems… intriguing."
Zamasu's eyes narrowed, his gaze settling on Goku. "A mortal?"
rue to form, Goku challenged Zamasu to a sparring match. "Let's see how strong a Kai in training really is!"
Zamasu hesitated, his disdain for mortals evident in his scowl. But Gowasu nodded, encouraging his apprentice to engage.
The battle was short-lived. Goku, suppressing his strength, easily outmaneuvered Zamasu, delivering light but decisive blows. Zamasu's frustration boiled over as Goku's cheerful attitude grated on him.
"You fight well for a god," Goku said with a grin. "But you've got a long way to go."
Zamasu's aura flared, his anger barely contained. "How dare a mortal lecture me on strength!"
As Zamasu seethed, Bell and Whis exchanged a knowing glance. It was clear that the apprentice harbored dangerous ideals about mortals. Beerus, ever impatient, stepped forward.
"I've seen enough," the Destroyer said flatly. "This one's trouble."
Before Zamasu could protest, Beerus raised his hand. "Hakai."
The energy engulfed Zamasu, erasing him completely. Gowasu gasped but remained silent, sensing the inevitability of what had transpired.
"Problem solved," Beerus said, dusting off his hands. "Let's head back."
Upon returning to Beerus' world, the group found themselves greeted by an unexpected visitor: the Grand Priest. He carried a message from Grand Zeno himself.
"The Omni-King wishes to see both Bell and Son Goku," the Grand Priest announced. "He's quite insistent."
Goku's face lit up with excitement. "Zeno? I wonder what he wants!"
Bell, however, sensed something more serious. "Let's not keep him waiting."
Before departing, Bell conjured new training attire for himself and Goku. The outfits were both practical and regal, blending combat readiness with an air of elegance befitting a visit to the King of Everything.
Whis, Bell, Goku, and Shin—the Supreme Kai of Universe 7—made their way to Zeno's palace. The grandiose structure shimmered with otherworldly light, its sheer scale humbling even the gods.
As they entered, Zeno greeted them with his usual childlike enthusiasm. "Goku! Bell! You're here!"
The small king's excitement was infectious, and Goku couldn't help but grin. "Hey, Zeno! What's up?"
"I want to learn how to fight!" Zeno declared, his eyes sparkling. "Bell, you'll teach me, right?"
Bell exchanged a glance with the Grand Priest, who nodded in approval. "Of course, Your Majesty. We'll start with the basics."
As Zeno clapped his hands in excitement, Bell and Goku prepared for the daunting task of training the most powerful being in existence. The universe had been saved from the threat of Goku Black, but new challenges—and responsibilities—lay ahead.
