-chapter 5-

The next day as Micah wakes up noticing he's on the couch, he gets up and stretches looking around the living area before walking to the kitchen to start his morning with a home cooked breakfast and a morning coffee, "I should play some music while I cook the mood in here is dry.

As he goes through his play list looking for a song "hmm I wonder if the music of this world is the same as mine" I think as I pick a song and start making my coffee" while the water coffee up it up, I start gathering ingredients to cook a simple but

delicious breakfast.

Grabbing his plate he walks over to the dining room table and sits down eating and drinking his coffee while looking out the window and to the streets below.

"Man I still can't get over this place" he says as he watches cars drive past and people walking the streets.

After eating breakfast and drinking my coffee I decide to call up el captain for some work,

Grabbing my phone to call el captain but before I do that I check my bank account

" hmmm I wonder if I gotten anymore achievements from the system I think

"Hmmm not a bad maybe I can sell those parts "I think as i call up el captain

A few seconds he picks up the phone

"Yoo choom knew I was going to hear from you s" he says

"anyway onto business if your interested in a job I got one for you if you need information I also got that just let me know" he says

"Yeah I could use a job also I have some things I want to sell i was Wondering

If you knew anyone that is willing to buy them" I ask him as he hums thinking about it he replies

"yeah I know someone but you will have to discuss prices with him I'll send the deets over now is that all you need" he asked me

"Who is the person" I ask him before he says anything else

"his name is vik he's a ripper doc down in little china, he's a good ripper does good quality work for good prices he's cool but don't take that for weakness he has lots of connections so you don't want to make an enemy out of him"he warns "now is that all or are you interested in doing the job" he ask

" I might as well see what the job is" I replied

"good"he says and sends the job details

"the job is pretty straightforward since this is you first one it's just recovery mission, get the item and delivery it and just a head up their will be 6th street members there" he says as my phone screen shows a 3d map of the building and where the item most likely is going to be.

"Who are they" I ask him

"well most of them are vets from the corpo wars that happened a few years ago after they retired a lot of them decided to come to night city and start a community but really it's just one of the many gangs in this city"

I nob a long and wait for him to finish "ok thanks for the information now how much am I getting paid" I ask after he done talking

"Damn choom don't waste time do you" he ask "well for this job it would be 10,000 eddies maybe a bonus if you do this silently" he tells me

"Ok I agree to the terms I'll contact you when I have the item" I tell him "ok looking forward from hearing from also don't get your self killed" he says before hanging up.

-mission accepted: fine the stolen items and return it to el captain-

"Well let's get a move on" I say as I walking to my armory to refill in ammo and to put on my body armor I look in the mirror"hmm maybe I should get some cybernetics it would make my life a lot easier" I think to myself as I leave the armory and head towards the elevator stepping into it going down to the lobby.

Leaving the building I open my phone and call my car, I wait a hear the engine in the distance getting louder as people look in the direction of the noise, as it pulls up I get in the driver seat and take off down the road towards 6th street Territory.

It take me a few minutes to get there, once I was there I got a call from el Captain

"Yo choom you there yet" he ask me "yeah i'm here looking at the building now" I tell him

"Ok good now remember this is just a in and out job try and do this silently and there will be a bonus waiting for you" he says

"Ok got it I'll call you after I got the item" I tell him as I hang up

"Ok let's get this party started" I think to himself as I pull on my mask and sneak around the back of the building looking for an entrance.

As I look up at the building I notice an open window on the second floor, backing up and getting a running start I run up the wall and grab onto the window sill, looking at my mini map I see no signs of anyone and no cameras inside of the room, pulling myself up into the room I quietly step on the floor trying to avoid making any noise.

As I look around the room taking anything viable I move towards the door looking at my mini map I notice two red dots and a camera at the end of the hallway with a facing away from me and a staircase to the left of the door.

I grab my phone to text the captain

M - do you know what floor the item is on?-

El- yes it should be on the second floor in a safe inside of an office room, there also should be a camera outside of the room with maybe two or so gonks guarding it-

"Hmm ain't that convenient" I say to myself as I open the door slowly and leaving the room, as I sneak towards them from behind I get two throwing knives ready and as soon as I get close I throw one at the camera and the other at the dude on the left.

As the left dude hits the ground and the one on the right panics and before he can do anything I grapple him to the ground covering his mouth and pinning down his arms.

As he kicks his legs trying to get free and when that's doesn't work his arms open up and blades come out.

"What the fuck is this"I think to my self as I foot to keep the blade away and quickly reach over and grab the knife out the dead dude head and stab it into the one I'm holding in he head.

As his body goes limp I get up off the floor

looking at him I decide to try and put his body in my inventory

"Yes"I say as the body disappears but the blood stays on floor

" I can get cybernetics from looting actual people neat" I say surprise as I get my knives back while also looting the other body

"Good loot if I dont say so myself" I say as I hold my new silenced pistol in my hand "well let's get the item and go before anyone shows up"

I walk through the door into the office and notice the safe behind the desk as I walk over to it and look closely I notice it's not closed all the way, as I open it I stacks of cash and two other items in it.

I take the cash and put the items in my inventory

-4,000 eddies

-Arasaka cyberdeck

-mission item-

Send a quick text to el captain letting him know I have the item as I walk to the window an opening it, I look out to see a different alleyway the one I used to get in, looking for anyone in the alley and seeing no signs I jump out and land before running away and through the alley back to my car, driving of to the drop off point.

As I'm driving down the road I contact el captain "I was waiting for you to call so do you have it" he ask

"Yes I have it and it was done silently so I expect that bonus" I tell him as I past a red light

"Yeah don't worry about it you'll get the money just drop off the item and I'll wire it to you ohh and one more thing it was good doing Business with you" he says before hanging up.

As I get to the drop off point and hand off the item I leave and get a system Notification

-system message: mission completion-

-rewards: 5000 eddies, 4000rp

I smile looking at the rewards "not bad at all for my first job" I say as I drive towards viks clinic as I pull up to little china people noticing my car as I park and get out.

Walking down the street passing what looks I a stripclub a few food vendors and a man in an alley yelling something about "Alpha Centura and evil lizard people in arasaka"

I move on I see the entrance to the clinic, as I walk in there is a blonde female behind the counter.

"Hello welcome what can I do for you"she ask as I walked up, I replied "I'm here to see vik"
