Cursed mage

Chapter : Random notes ~ Characters

Once they are named, they belong on the list.

Crown Prince Thomas Crowne: The cursed mage and main character. Outside of the prologue where he is seven, the main story starts when he is fifteen. He is a scrawny teenager who doesn't see himself in artist portraits of him. He was blessed/cursed at birth as the future crown prince. Many of those blessing/curses will end at 18, but he doesn't realize it won't be all of them. One such curse is the true love curse. If you spend time with him, you'll end up getting a tingle when you get close to your true love. (Many of his curses can be broken with the kiss of the true love hence why he also carries the true love marked curse.) With Odin's forced departure, Thomas decides his best course of action would be to try knighthood. After all, swinging a sword should be easier than using cursed magic.

Lord Odin: The High Mage while Thomas was young. He was Thomas's magic trainer until he was caught flirting with the queen (his true love). Due to the king's fears that the high mage corrupted all magically obtained information around the succession, he was exiled to a magically confined tower.

Lady Emerald: A random well versed lady who gave Thomas most of his educational lessons.

Jessica Warton: A future lady. Or maybe she'll just stick with the knights excluding herself from the noble circles. She enjoyed learning how to become a knight from her family. Her confidence in her abilities is not misplaced.

Ryan Tellience: A future lord. Although if given a chance, he'd rather just study monsters. He has a lot of knowledge and can be a bit distracted by acquiring new. You'll be shocked what he has skills with. It was always because he gained knowledge by learning.

Lady Hydrangea: A current knight and lady who knows the crown prince personally. Whether it was luck to a set up is unknown, but she is the trainer for the knight trials. She is well received by most. Just... Don't get on her bad side.
