Chapter 47 – Let’s take this… and this… maybe a bit of this.
Aiko was left completely speechless when she looked at her status.
'It's even more ridiculous than before.' Aiko thought. 'For some reason certain things skyrocketed...' She was unaware that her soul was released from its suppression imposed by the system so that unsavoury Sages wouldn't bother her.
What's more, she had an additional blessing that would now deter Sages. The one who has blessed her might be getting weaker, but it will still take a few thousand years for others to pick on her, so Aiko is safe.
She also received additional Abilities among other things...
She was elated, but she would need to clean this place up first.
She prickled one spirit stone, but it didn't leak any energy.
'Strange...' Then Aiko had an idea.
She rummaged through her Pouch given by the Sect and pulled up the corpses.
'It has [Storage Pouch]!' She was incredibly happy. 'Does that mean that others have pouches too?' She smirked, her eyes turned into money.
...
Unfortunately, not all corpses had [Storage Pouches], she only got 8 of them...
'Wait, there are still those alive.' She grinned.
She first went through those Pouches and checked their contents.
'Few pieces of Spirit Stone... Useless clothes... Useless weapons... Food... is this even food?' She threw those aside and only kept those Spirit Stones.
She did that with all the Pouches currently in front of her and then she turned around to fish the Human Cultivators that were still alive.
*Hop*
The Human fell to the ground with a strange noise and looked around. He then spotted Aiko.
"Hmpf, just a stupid-huh?" For some reason, something cast shade over him.
Aiko was upset with him and so was the Darkness. The Darkness made the optical illusion that Aiko grew in size and coupled with her black fur and temporary red eyes it struck fear in its Victims. The Darkness also added growls and howls all around him to seal the deal.
The youth was so scared he soiled his pants both ways.
"P-please spare my life!" The youth was terrified.
Aiko pointed at the Pouch nearby and the youth immediately understood.
He gave her the pouch and Aiko browsed through it. 'Just a couple of Spirit Stones and the rest is useless... the capacity is also too small.' Aiko though, those pouches had only 1-2 cubic meters of space, not very desirable to be honest.
She threw the Pouch back and the youth swallowed. 'That was my yearly allowance.' He cried bitterly, but surprisingly to him the little Fox stored him back into the Pouch without hurting him.
...
"W-w-why are the corpses disappearing?" One youth pointed at the pile of corpses that was getting smaller and smaller.
"Y-you are right!" Another youth also noticed.
"Hmpf, weak bastards that can't keep their-" He disappeared on the spot.
"W-w-w-why?! Why even living!?" Another youth broke down.
They sat in despair with a small glimmer of hope. 'He looked arrogant, maybe he is strong...' They all thought, but moments later someone reappeared with an awful smell.
"M-m-m-m-monster! T-that thing is a complete monster with a cute appearance!" He cried, looking like someone who lost his mind.
Their hearts sank and they made mental note to appear as insignificant as possible.
...
Aiko pulled another one, but this one was very obedient.
"Please spare my life!" He immediately prostrated himself in front of Aiko.
She was startled as she didn't know they could talk between themselves, while inside the Pouch.
She once again pointed at the Pouch near her. He shook his head apologizing that he didn't have Pouch.
"I-I can gather all the Pouches for you!" The youth stuttered seeing the impatient little Fox in front of him.
Aiko nodded and sent him back, she waited a few minutes and pulled him back out.
He was hugging 14 Pouches and Aiko went through all of them, but most of them only had a couple of Spirit Stones.
She clicked her tongue but sent the youth back. She still had a pile of Spirit Stones in front of her...
'Let's just shove it into The Pouch with the Cultivators.' She didn't want to carry any more useless Pouches, so she just shoved the rest of the Spirit Stones inside and slowly left the place.
...
The Elders were looking blankly.
"Maybe we shouldn't take her in?" One Elder asked.
"Why?" The Sect Leader asked while trying to hold her laughter.
She was aware that those Elders would try to scam the young ones of Spirit Stones, but they probably never found someone so grubby that the person would go through all of those Pouches just for a few Spirit Stones, while already being richer than the whole Sect.
'They are worried that she will scam them of off their Spirit Stones through missions.' The Sect Leader giggled.
The higher the position the more lucrative the missions were, it was supposed to stoke the competitive flames inside the youths, but now they regretted it.
'She is too intelligent, she will only pick the missions that are good for her and we can't scam her...' The Elder frowned.
There was a system in place where if you failed the mission Sect Contribution Points would be deducted, those points were used for Pills, Martial Techniques, etc. So it was a lucrative business for the scamming Elders as Disciples could go into negatives...
...
Aiko managed to leave that place. It was the sixth day, meaning she only had 4 days left.
She walked for a while and met with the Blood Fox.
The Blood Fox was ecstatic as she finally found the prey she oh so desired.
She immediately dashed towards Aiko, but Aiko was puzzled.
'Isn't she too slow?' Aiko thought looking at the rushing Fox.
It was only natural as the Blood Fox was in the Low Stage of Demonic Beast. She was more compared to the Peak-stage Magical Beasts Rank, as she did not have enough blood to properly refine her body to Reach the Demonic Stage.
Her Beasts Core was also clogged at only 50% Purity. That meant she could only use 27% of the Energy inside her Core and thus her Agility was around 3,500 without any Boosts.
She was a lot slower than Aiko.
Aiko dodged the incoming charge with ease startling that Blood Fox.
She growled at Aiko and Aiko suddenly remembered her mission.
Aiko smirked towards the Blood Fox and for some reason Blood Fox was restless.
Aiko disappeared.
She used her unimaginable speed to appear above the Blood Fox and used [Quick Double Jump] to smash into the Blood Fox.
The Blood Fox roared in pain and anger. Immediately wrapping the spine with her blood.
But Aiko was already gone, the small furball was quick on her feet smashing her left and right.
The pitiful Blood Fox was using her reserves of blood to create Blood Armour to protect her.
Aiko stopped attacking as there were a lot of pointy spikes on the Blood Armour.
The Blood Beast was confused but regained some sense of self. She was wary of Aiko and used her Divine Ability [Blood Sprint] to increase her speed.
Her speed rose to an incredible 17,500 due to that Divine Ability. Easily surpassing Aiko's speed.
Aiko was wary as the Fox was not as slow. Even with her passive buffs she only squeezed 17,001 speed.
Fortunately, she still had her Sprint, which pushed her above the speed of the Blood Fox.
The Blood Fox was terrified, she regained a lot of sense and knew how powerful her Divine Ability was. Yet this little Fox was still able to surpass her.
She was quickly caught and beaten again as she couldn't maintain the Blood Armour and [Blood Sprint] at the same time.
She ditched the idea of beating her in speed and armoured herself yet again. She was panicking as she was slowly returning to her former self before she became Blood Fox.
Aiko stopped attacking. She didn't like pain and learned that Cultivators could blast her if she got too close.
She stared at the Blood Fox and smirked. She picked up a rock.
*Boom*
The rock slammed into the Blood Fox cracking her Blood Armour.
The Blood Fox's mind was stunned. She couldn't believe that ordinary rock could damage her armour. She ran away in panic, but Aiko had too much fun.
*Boom**Boom**Boom*
She kept throwing rocks as they made a really nice sound when they collided with her armour.
The Blood Fox was almost completely her previous self and wanted to cry.
'This little Fox is too mean.' She completely forgot she tried to bully her several times.
...
The audience was left speechless. They wanted to feel happy like Aiko but felt pitiful towards the Blood Fox.
While they didn't like her, as she was ruthless, but seeing such a small Fox throw rocks at such an overly large Fox was... too pitiful.
"Can we even call her a bully...?" One girl asked no one, but everyone shared her sentiment. Except the older generation.
"She is just a spoiled brat." One girl clicked her tongue. She was criticizing Aiko non-stop, but because of the roars of other Foxes, her voice was buried. 'I can't lose the attention I'm getting just because a shitty newcomer is somewhat pretty.' She was trying to deny reality and fan the flames of envy.
"She can only throw rocks and doesn't use any Abilities, she is completely useless and without a future." The girl could speak haughtily as the little Fox's Mate wasn't currently here. She would fan the flames properly and regain her limelight!
...
Aiko stared at the Blood Fox that was lying in a pool of blood.
'I overdid it...' Aiko thought, but can you blame her? At later parts of the fight she even used the armour to make music and she liked it so much that she was too engrossed with it to realize the Armour was crumbling...
