Cultivation Struggles of a Lowly Fox

Chapter 203 – Another Emperor?!

Aiko blinked at them, they looked really stupid.

"What?" Aiko yawned.

"Aren't you going to chase them?" One Sect Leader asked the little Fox.

The others didn't have the guts to ask this, so they only nodded in agreement with this brave Soul, putting that question in the open.

"Too tired." Aiko's ears and tails slouch low. She is no longer in the mood to play with anyone any more...

If she wasn't so exhausted, she would absolutely chase them, but her Beast Core's Energy was simply too low to do much.

Aiko cursed inwardly since the titles were now demerits rather than benefits.

She was unhappy that they would reduce her Beast Core's Energy so much after just a few throws...

'Ah, right...' Aiko's mind cleared up a bit after the slaughter. 'How is the Blood Fox doing?' Aiko wondered about that, but with Umbra Fox around, it should be alright... 'I hope...'

Aiko was too tired to go back, so she just came close to Chen Shi and went under the barrier before plopping down.

Chen Shi's face distorted and Aiko smiled gently. That was the reaction she was looking for and she was happy that he was frowning.

"You smell." Chen Shi waved a hand in front of his face, fanning the bad smell away.

Aiko's face froze and she glared at him.

"What? If you don't like me saying that, maybe you should've considered not bathing in blood." Chen Shi shrugged.

There was another piercing gaze on her, it was Lady Liu.

Aiko looked away since that gaze stung her quite a lot. Maybe it was not a good idea to sit in here, but this was the safest place to be in...

Aiko yawned again when another explosion happened.

She flinched and immediately said. "Wasn't me!"

Everyone looked at her, even the intruding guest.

Her 'allies'' lips twitched. This little Fox was just too odd compared to the average Fox.

The guest looked over at them.

"Pitiful mortals, bow before this Emperor!" He proclaimed.

"Ew, who brought a shrivelled carrot in here?!" Aiko recoiled in disgust.

Everyone choked, especially the 'Emperor'. "W-What?!" He was so shocked that his mind blanked.

"Ew!" Aiko shivered. "That ugly shrivelled carrot can talk!" Aiko wanted to hide, but considering the state her body was in... let's just not do that...

Aiko moved some ways away. She didn't want to see that ugly shrivelled carrot for another moment!

The Emperor was completely left speechless. He couldn't understand how he could look like a shrivelled carrot.

Wasn't he the most glorious and divine Emperor?! Wasn't he praised for his unparalleled beauty?! Yet this little- 'Wait! That's a Fox!? What in the-'

The Emperor stared blankly. He couldn't understand how those lustful Foxes could just ignore his beauty...

He had already spent a night with quite a few Foxes; he drained them well, which meant that his Soul was incomparably more powerful.

Yet now a Fox was showing him a distorted and disgusted expression! That was simply too much!

"You will regret not appreciating my beauty!" The 'Emperor' proclaimed haughtily.

Aiko stared blankly. "Yeah right... not only is he a shrivelled carrot, but now it is a delusional, shrivelled carrot... that's certainly the first time I ever encountered something like this..." Aiko nodded slowly.

The Sect Leaders sweated, while this 'Emperor' was indeed haughty. It was for a good reason.

He might be a Ghost Cultivator, but the pressure from his Souls is making them want to kneel!

The 'Emperor' was simply too powerful for them!

Chen Shi's expression wasn't that good, but that was only because Aiko still smelled awful. If she didn't smell as bad, he would even consider praising her for her witty lines.

"You-!" The 'Emperor' glared at the little Fox. "Just because you have defeated my little minions, you believe you can fight against me?!" He couldn't understand where that confidence was coming from.

Nobody weak was willing to offend him, yet this little weak Fox went all in on him?!

"What?" Aiko scoffed at him. "I'm a Fox, so I'm your natural enemy." She shrugged like she was not concerned about him at all.

The 'Emperor' looked speechlessly at the little Fox and snorted coldly. "What? You are my natural enemy?" He laughed loudly. "Keep dreaming, you slut!"

Aiko's face was distorted. "Oh, I'm sorry, did I get on your nerves, shrivelled hairy balls?" Aiko snorted at him.

The whole room fell silent, everyone was sweating from this 'battle'.

The Ghostly 'Emperor' turned silent, but his face was getting redder and redder. His 'veins' on his forehead were getting more and more pronounced.

"You-" The Ghostly 'Emperor' was at a loss for words.

"You, you, you." Aiko shook her head. "I'm running out of names I can call ya, stupid shrivelled hairy balls..." She sighed tiredly. "Seriously, this one-sided beating is exhausting me, can't you at least put up a fight?!" Aiko shook her head like this whole ordeal was a waste of time.

"I will wring your Soul!" The Ghostly 'Emperor' glared daggers at the little Fox. "Just you wait! Once my minions bring me the '100 Ghost Parade Lamp', I will put all of your Souls inside!"

Aiko suddenly had an epiphany. "You are a Ghost." Aiko's eyes widened and something in her mind clicked.

"Damn right, I am! I'm the most Divine Ghost Emperor there is!" He proclaimed proudly and the Sect Leader's sweated even more.

They didn't believe that the Fiendish Cultivators really revived this old monster.

What will happen to this continent now? They couldn't imagine...

"So you are a Ghost." Aiko nodded happily. Since he was a Ghost that meant she could store him inside the lamp and munch on him later.

She wanted to get more used to the Souls to surprise Mei, but since most/all her assailants had their Souls tampered with; she was unable to do so...

But now that she had a Ghost in front of her that she didn't care about... everything just clicked together.

"So what? With the help of '100 Ghost Parade Lamp' I will be able to regain most of my strength-" The Ghostly 'Emperor' went on a villainous monologue.

The Human Emperor already fainted because of the pressure of the Ghostly Emperor's Soul.

Aiko stared at him with a smile, while every Sect Leader was sweating buckets.

The Beasts were slightly better off, since they naturally fought a lot more and thus were more resilient to the pressure of the powerful Cultivators.

Aiko was completely unaffected; her Bloodlines and the fact that she was in the shadows, completely shrouded her against the natural suppression of the Soul.

It would be a different kind of deal if the Ghostly 'Emperor' used his real pressure, but because he was overconfident, there was no need to worry.

"I have it." Aiko thought about it for quite a while before coming to the conclusion that her lamp might be the one he was talking about...

The Ghostly 'Emperor' choked on his words and glared at the daring little Fox.

"Bullshit!" The Ghostly 'Emperor' had enough. "I will pluck your limbs for your-... lies..."

The Ghostly 'Emperor' stared speechlessly at the little Fox, which was holding a very familiar lamp.

"The '100 Ghost Parade Lamp'!" He immediately proclaimed and laughed loudly.

"Stupid Fox! I'm the owner of the lamp!" The Ghostly 'Emperor' couldn't stop laughing. This little Fox made everything so much easier.

The Sect Leaders widened their eyes and scolded the little Fox.

"Stupid Fox! You should've hidden it!"
"Now we will all die because of you!"

One after another they scolded her, but not too harshly since they still remembered that little nightmare that gutted the other Sect Leaders.

"Return!" The Ghostly 'Emperor' shouted and the Sect Leaders closed their eyes and started counting their remaining 'days' of life.

They waited and waited, but nothing happened.

They opened their eyes, but the Ghostly 'Emperor' didn't have that lamp. Looking down towards the little Fox... she still had it??

They were confused.

"Return!" The Ghostly 'Emperor' shouted again, but the '100 Ghost Parade Lamp', didn't even quiver.

"..." The Ghost 'Emperor was confused.

"Is this yours?" Aiko asked, tilting her head. "Was that kid's scribble your Inscription?"

Aiko was bothered by a few parts of the Inscription on the Lamp, since unlike the well elaborated and beautiful Runes, there also existed Runes that felt like a kid's scribbles... a complete nonsense!

She was so bothered by those scribbles that she erased them and hoped that it wouldn't damage the lamp, but fortunately, it didn't!

Aiko was overjoyed at that fact, since she wouldn't have to bring home a lamp with such ugly scribbles!

The Ghostly 'Emperor' coughed up Soul Essence. He wasn't any Inscription Cultivator, but his Inscription quality was far from that of a kid's scribbles!

The Ghostly 'Emperor' glared at Aiko, not realising he was leaking his Soul Essence out of anger.

Aiko shook her head. "Seriously, I changed my mind, this is worse than a kid's scribble! You should learn how to scribble properly. I would be ashamed if I were you!" Aiko kept shaking her head. "A Heavenly Immortal that can't even write." Aiko shivered. "I would be worried that they would give me that nickname, you know, stupid shrivelled hairy balls." Aiko sighed like she was pitying him.

The Ghostly 'Emperor' coughed up even more Soul Essence and at this point, the lamp gently shook.

The Ghostly 'Emperor' recovered slightly. "Return!" He hoped that that quiver indicated his ownership and he had high hopes that it would work this time.

Why, you might ask? Because he didn't believe that such a young Fox would be able to erase his elaborate Inscription!

Yet that same Inscription was wiped out with a little saliva and a finger from Aiko...

The Ghostly 'Emperor' chuckled.

'Mistress, would you allow me to consume him?' From within the lamp, the Ghost Lady gently asked. If she could consume his Soul, not only would she be able to repay this bastard for seducing her and ruining her life, but she would also be able to recover a lot of strength.

This would tilt their current relationship, from 'slave' and owner, to equal!

Aiko frowned cutely, she really wanted to learn how to eat Souls without Mei's help to surprise her.

'Why can't you store him for me?' Aiko asked with a cute frown.

'There is not enough room, Mistress...' The Ghost Lady said.

Aiko cried out in her mind. 'How can you be so fat?!'
