Chapter 198 – Things are moving…
Aiko sat down and waited for them to bring her that nice tea.
The Prince was concerned about the little Fox's well-being since it was such a weird request...
Who in their right mind would want to willingly drink poison?! He couldn't understand...
Aiko plopped her head on the table, since there would be nothing else to do, but to watch the Prince being restless.
Aiko didn't really dislike him, but she still thought he would get some entertainment for them.
The Umbra Fox didn't care about others, she stood on the roof watching over the building where the Princess and Blood Fox were 'locked' inside of.
She was slightly worried that those Secret Guards would do something.
Unfortunately for her, that would be the least of her worries...
Aiko would demolish this place way before anything could happen! She was bored out of her mind...
'Let's just scribble Runes...' Aiko yawned. She hoped that someone would attack soon, so that there would be something or someone to play with.
She scribbled Rune after Rune, not really with any intention, but everyone was staring at her with unblinking eyes.
The speed at which she scribbled the Runes into the table was astonishing.
These Mortals and Cultivators never saw someone do it at this speed.
That was only natural. They have not seen many Inscription Cultivators Inscribe in real-time, so their sense of what was fast or slow was distorted.
The Prince wondered what the little Fox was scribbling. He would not interrupt her since he knew that the Alchemist would scold him for days if he asked them about the Herbs.
He didn't have much experience with Inscription Cultivators since they were rarer than Alchemist, but the general rule of, do not disturb them, should apply.
Aiko scribbled away, but since she didn't apply any Ink, the Runes didn't activate.
This was a relief for everyone, even if they didn't know about it. Aiko scribbled way too many Runes, which would cause the ambient Qi to drop sharply.
That would cause trouble to not only the Blood Fox, but also the Prince.
While Mortals could not make proper use of Qi, they still needed it to keep their bodies healthy. If the Qi dropped too much, they would feel dizzy and sickly.
The actual sickness would never come, just the constant feeling of sickness.
Their bodies would naturally decline. They would no longer be able to do heavy lifting without training, among other things...
...
The Blood Fox sat down inside the room and stared at the Princess.
"You are lucky that your 'Prince' is nice." The Blood Fox said without a shred of concern.
"I know, he is the sweetest." The Princess blushed like a spring flower.
The Blood Fox rolled her eyes. "Undress so we can start." She picked up nearby tea and smelled it.
It was strange that there would be tea inside, so she placed it down without tasting it.
She probably shouldn't even sniff it, but she was too curious and couldn't help herself.
The Blood Fox immediately checked her body and through her abilities she diagnosed herself.
She was in good health and there were no foreign substances in her body, so she was safe to continue this.
"Pardon?" The Princess was startled.
"If you don't undress, I will rip your clothes." The Blood Fox didn't really have patience with Humans. She was worried that Aiko would cause disaster while she was not around.
The Blood Fox knew that the Umbra Fox would indulge Aiko, since she had a strange obsession with Aiko.
She did also indulge Aiko, but for different reasons. The Blood Fox needed Aiko's presence to suppress those voices.
She no longer wished to return to that stage of her life, where she mindlessly wandered around in an empty landscape.
There would be floating images of what she, or rather her body, was doing.
The uncountable times she hurt her brother. The times that someone would visit her just to restrain her.
Unfortunately for all of her assailants... She was way too powerful. Whilst her conscious self could not wield the full power of her Bloodline; her mindless self could with ease.
Her mindless self was able to twist the blood inside their bodies, causing deviations or even death.
After a few dozen deaths, nobody approached her again... except her brother and...
The Blood Fox somewhat absent-mindedly looked outside. Aiko was scribbling something again, which was a bad habit that she developed when she was bored.
The Blood Fox would always bring Aiko some kind of snack so she wouldn't scribble on other's stuff... suddenly annoyance arose in her mind.
"Why are you not undressing yet?" The Blood Fox glared daggers at the Princess.
She flinched from that gaze and retorted. "I don't want to undress! What if someone barges inside!?"
The Princess was scared that someone would see her naked. She was the most unfortunate Princess of the four.
Her mother displaced most of the strange liquid from other vials into hers.
Then the Princess was forced to drink that vial, which significantly altered her body.
She went from a chubby Princess to a breathtaking beauty. She could not understand how it happened, but she understood her constant cravings.
The Princess craved pleasure day and night. She was constantly restless and fidgety, yet she didn't want to engage in an adulterous life...
Others proposed to her left and right, so much so that it was sickening to her.
Then her mother sent her away before she died; with words of encouragement.
Her mother, while being promiscuous, treated her well. She loved her with all her heart, but unfortunately, that love was poisonous.
The mother had increasingly higher expectations of her child, which slowly caused them to grow apart...
"So what?" The Blood Fox rolled her eyes. "If you don't want it to hurt, I need direct contact with your skin." She scoffed at her. While she would try to make it painless... that was not the case if the person resisted.
The Blood Fox didn't really care about this whole Empire; she was sickened of Humans and indulged them only when they wanted to wring their skins dry during haggling.
She was a skilful haggler and learned how to tempt others to get things that she needed. While that wouldn't work on Monks and certain Cultivators, fortunately for her, most normal Cultivators avoided Buddhism altogether.
That meant she could tempt most of them without any issue.
The Princess wanted to cry, but if she stalled more. She knew that this meant Fox would really torture her.
The Princess undressed some parts of her dress, leaving her undergarments on.
"This is fine, right?" The Princess blushed deep red.
"That's fine." The Blood Fox narrowed her eyes and marvelled at these types of undies.
She quite liked that they were not made out of bandages. However, she didn't like the fact that certain places on the undergarments were see-through.
If your clothes were messed up during battle, then everyone would be able to see your hidden parts, which the Blood Fox disliked greatly.
The Blood Fox shook her head and the Princess glared at her.
The Princess believed that she was judged by this Fox! Sure! She was in the smaller size, but they had a nice shape and were firm!
"Lay on your back and I will start the extraction." The Blood Fox ignored the Mortal's glare and yawned gently.
Her body swayed and jiggled slightly, which dealt a heavy blow to the Princess...
The Princess could only resign to her fate and lay on her back, waiting for this whole thing to pass...
...
[Somewhere far, far away...]
"So..." A shrouded figure in darkness asked another figure.
"So, what?" The second shrouded figure was annoyed by the first shrouded figure.
"Did we find her?" The first shrouded figure had a feminine voice that was very cheerful.
"How am I supposed to know that? We are doing the same thing!" The second shrouded figure scoffed at her with a masculine voice.
"Because you are smarter." The feminine shrouded figure said. "But my senses are better~" She hummed, trying to not be outdone in this 'competition’.
The masculine shrouded figure rolled his eyes. "Sure. I have a few favourites..." He paused. "First is the large Fox. She causes so much trouble that there is an 80% that's our Princess."
He yawned again. "The others are a lot less favourable, so let's not talk about them.
The Feminine Shrouded figure nodded gently. "That individual is definitely not our Princess." She giggled. "The small one is more like our Princess." She cutely put her hands together to support her head.
"The problem is... she is a bit too mischievous and I don't remember our Princess liking the same sex." She tilted her head thinking about it.
She paused. "But that is my candidate."
He nodded slowly. "Certainly, when she issued that command I felt shivers down my spine, but I don't believe the Princess can be someone this weak..."
"It's been only a few years; it's natural she wouldn't grow as much." She could not say out loud that their Princess was a very lazy person...
"Hah." He scoffed at her. "As if; look at the large Fox and her abnormal growth. That's more like our Princess." He shook his head.
"She almost looks like a male, no way our cute and gorgeous Princess would turn like that!" She retorted.
Then suddenly, both of them paused.
"Do you think that the 'Overlords' will be upset that we indulged our Princess?" She sweated buckets.
"No, they don't need to know. As long as we find her before they ask, we can just say that she wanted to experience another world." He shamelessly said.
"I hope you are right..." She almost cried in front of him.
"You are a softie..." He shook his head.
"Tell that to me again when you sneak another phoenix egg into the Princess's food!" She snorted at him.
He turned away like he didn't hear what she just said.
She snorted at him again and turned away. "I like the little one."
"I'm for the large one." He said with a straight face.
"How do we decide this?" She asked.
"We can guide them to our 'home'." He smiled. "If they come, it will be obvious who is our Princess and everything will return to what it is supposed to be."
"What about the others interfering?" She asked with concern.
"The Immeasurable Calamity is on the way; do you think they will have time to care about our Princess?" She snorted coldly. Those Sages will have their hands full of the Immeasurable Calamity and their Princess will only grow stronger!
