Chapter 186 – Why is everyone a pervert!?
Aiko was glaring towards the Old Fossil. She would not deal with this shit! She had better things to do.
"Which means I will have to find Inscription Ink..." Aiko slowly pondered upon it.
"Do you really not have any Inscription Ink?" Aiko asked the Grandma again.
The Old Grandma paused and thought about it. "I do have Inscription Ink, but it's decayed, so I don't know how effective it will be..." She sighed.
Aiko nodded slowly. "Let's be honest, anything is better than that shit..." Aiko pointed at the sealed bottle with the Inscription Ink.
The Old Grandma suppressed a chuckle. "I will guide you towards the bottle with Inscription Ink."
She guided the little Fox towards the hidden house, which was some ways from the Lamp.
...
"By the way, what is this place supposed to be?" Most things were in red, there was also a huge bed.
"The Emperor's sex chambers." The Old Grandma replied flatly, but this deeply shocked Aiko.
"That old pervert has multiple sex chambers...?" Aiko stared blankly at Grandma.
"Why do you think that there are ghosts having sex outside?" The Old Grandma tilted her head.
"You mean they are there for him?" Aiko's stomach churned. The problem was that there were also Beasts having sex, not just humans...
"I only created what he wanted and in exchange, he shares the energy from Virgins and criminal souls." The Old Grandma shrugged.
"Virgins?" Aiko's mind spun, she couldn't believe what she was listening to.
"Yeah, the Emperor uses these as bridal chambers. He has the first night with them." The Old Grandma shook her head.
"Huh?" Aiko really didn't believe she heard that right. "Not the spouse, but the Emperor???" How immoral do you have to be to pass something like that!?
"It's better if you steer clear away from the Emperor. You are a cutie, and he has things for them..." The Old Grandma shook her head.
Wasn't her team in danger then? Since he liked Beasts and all that?
Aiko 'sweated'. Not in a million years did she expect that a beautiful place like this hid such distorted perverse tendencies...
Aiko shook her head, getting her thoughts back on track. She was here for the Inscription Ink.
"Here it is." The Old Grandma pointed under the bed.
"Pardon?" Aiko thought she was joking.
"Under the bed, there is a hidden compartment with all my treasures." She said again, blocking that Garbage Bin's Divine Sense, so he wouldn't try to steal her Treasures.
"Is it really there?" She didn't believe it.
The Old Grandma moved and lifted part of the bedsheets. It revealed a part of a hidden hatch.
"Ohhhhh." Aiko applauded, it would be unlikely that someone would look over there, at least that's what Aiko thought.
She moved closer to the bed when she heard footsteps.
"The Emperor is coming, hide!" The Old Grandma warned the little Fox and vanished.
Aiko's face was distorted. 'Why always me!' She jumped under the bed and lifted the hatchet to hide there.
'Geh!' It was really smelly from the dust and stale air, but Aiko would have to bear it.
She went slightly deeper when the footsteps stopped.
*Creak*
The specially made bed creaked as the two Humans sat down.
*Creak Creack*
"Ah..." A moan drifted into Aiko's ears and she booked it further without looking back.
...
"I swear if those bastards are not finished by the time I get this stupid Inscription Ink......" Aiko looked around for some kind of stick she could use, but unfortunately, she couldn't find any.
"Anyway. Where am I supposed to go?" Aiko looked around, there were too many different tunnels.
One was crafted from polished stone, another was rough marble, then there was a trail of Spirit Stones... and so on.
Aiko didn't know which way she should go, so she called Grandma again.
"Where do I go, you didn't give me the directions!" Aiko pouted, she wouldn't want to stay here, since the creaking sounds from the bed above could still be heard down below, but fortunately, she couldn't hear any moans.
This was a relief for Aiko since she didn't want to deal with that shit! Again! And again!
Why was her luck so bad that she always encountered these kinds of scenarios?!
Does she have the Dao of Voyeurism?!
Aiko breathed in a steady rhythm to calm herself, she would definitely have a talk with the system!
...
She waited for a good half an hour before Grandma appeared.
Aiko was glaring at her, waiting for what kind of excuse she would make.
"I was harvesting the energies from that virgin..." She couldn't meet the little Fox's piercing gaze.
Aiko stared at her judgmentally, she couldn't believe that even this cute Grandma was a pervert.
"That... hurts, you know?" The Old Grandma glanced at the little Fox only to be shocked by her expression.
"So what, pervert?" Aiko stomped her feet, she had to wait just because some pervert liked to play the voyeurism game!
"I really need those energies..." The Old Grandma whined.
"I don't see how that is my problem, you are just supposed to guide me towards the Inscription Ink!" Aiko frowned, she had to listen to the creaking for half an hour! Do you know how painful that was!?
The good feeling Aiko had towards this ghost evavporated. She wondered if she should just strangle this old hag right here and now!
Seeing the little Fox’s dangerous gaze, the Old Grandma coughed awkwardly.
"My apologies, this way." The Old Grandma guided her through the rough marble tunnel.
Aiko was slightly interested in why the unpolished or not expensive tunnel was the right one. "Why would you hide it in, what is an over-glorified cave?"
"Because most Cultivators seek cleanliness and purity, they wouldn't wish to walk this rough path." The Old Grandma said with dignity.
"You are fucking joking right?" Aiko's lips loosened into a ridiculing smile.
"You perverted bastards either fuck others or watch others fucking." Aiko proclaimed, but didn't quite stop there. "Not to mention you create all those Dual Cultivation techniques, the strange artefacts that vibrate and move. Where the fuck is the cleanliness and purity in that!?" Aiko stomped her feet angrily.
The Old Ghost couldn't reply, since the Cultivators believed they were the cleanest and most pure beings, while Mortals were the filth that they never wanted to become.
The Old Ghost naturally didn't say this out loud, since she knew that it would further upset the little Fox. She was already concerned that the little Fox might harm her since she had to wait for so long...
She pointed at the doors in front. "We are here."
"Fucking finally! Why does it have to be so deep?!" Aiko whined, the walk was uncomfortable on her soles, she should've really bought some shoes! But fortunately, her skin was tough enough that it wouldn't be pierced by the rough surface.
Aiko stared towards the door, it looked like a very old door, barely standing.
"Are you sure that's a door and not just a wooden plank covering the entrance?" Aiko asked Grandma.
The Old Grandma staggered, this was one of her finest works, but it was true that it couldn't stand the test of time. That's why most Cultivators make sure to only use stone to shelter their 'gifts' behind when they leave, as it can last pretty much forever...
She coughed awkwardly. "It's been a few centuries since I fixed this place..."
It was mentally draining for Ghosts to interact with the normal world. The Old Grandma waited patiently, while gathering the necessary energy for her escape, but so far it was fruitless.
She couldn't escape from this place and her vessel was decaying, which meant that she would 'disperse', returning to that Immoral Husband.
She absolutely did not want that to happen! She would rather be sealed in this place for eternity rather than to return to that hell!
...
Aiko tried to open the doors, but it just crumbled the moment she touched it. "See, that's 100% a plank!" Aiko scoffed at Grandma, who tried to appear mighty.
The Old Grandma coughed again. "As I said, it's been some time since I patched this place."
"No wonder you don't have any Inscription Ink, I worry that the insides are even worse than the doors..." Aiko shook her head like she was appraising something dilapidated.
Aiko entered before the ghost could defend herself.
It was incredibly moist and dusty. Everything was covered in filth, but surprisingly most of the chests were in good condition.
"What is this obsession with chests..." Aiko shook her head, it was troublesome getting inside without damaging it, she would have to pick up some lock-picking Skills!
Aiko stared at it for a while before she decided to touch the filth-covered chests.
"How do you open it again?" Aiko asked the old ghost, since she couldn't quite understand the mechanism.
The Old Grandma waved her hand and the chest opened.
There was a strange ornament inside.
"Oh~, this one is pretty." Aiko nodded gently. "But it gives me a bad feeling, so let's just recycle it later~" Aiko hummed, but the Old Grandma choked.
This was her most prized possession that she got from her lover...
"What is bad about it?" The Old Grandma suddenly asked, she had a strange feeling inside her heart...
"Hmmm... It feels like it will try to mess with me..." Aiko tilted her head, it felt like it was trying to attack her mind, but the effect was so minuscule that it only gave Aiko a bad feeling...
If she wore it, that would be an entirely different matter, as that might cause her to lose her mind or be taken over. Aiko didn't want to risk any bad options that might happen to her. She would just store it away and recycle it later.
The Old Grandma nodded slowly, she didn't believe that the little Fox was so sensitive.
"Shall I open the others?" She asked the little Fox. That item was given to her by her lover. She didn't think much of it back then, but after seeing the little fox's reaction to it, it felt like the item was some kind of betrayal from him. 'Surely he wouldn't harm me... right?'
"Wait, I will just store this for recycling." Aiko didn't touch it and directly placed it inside her Storage Ring.
"Gosh... My Storage Rings are almost full..." Aiko shook her head.
The Old Grandma smiled slightly, she would wait patiently to get her answers, since it seemed like this little Fox was not just a complete Monster, but a Monster with sensitive senses.
This was a great situation for the Old Grandma, since she would be able to answer a few of her old questions and maybe move on...
