Crossing To The Primitive With A Game Panel

Chapter 83

Lu Yu’s heart jumped, and he hastily turned his head.

Cha Zhe gripped his chin, forcefully turning it back, ignoring his angry and panicked eyes, and pressed down, finally kissing the lips he had longed for.

Despite Lu Yu and Tai Lie doing it secretly, Cha Zhe had seen these two kissing many times: behind the big tree near the village, through the open windows of stone houses, by the dim and ambiguous campfires…

The slightly frail man was forcefully held by the stronger one, shamelessly violated. And Lu Yu not only didn’t resist but was very obedient… Why could that rough Matai man do it, and he couldn’t?!

A surge of anger rose in Cha Zhe’s heart. After feeding the soup, instead of leaving, he gripped Lu Yu’s cheeks with his hands, used his tongue to pry open his tightly closed teeth, and invaded recklessly.

A hint of embarrassment flashed in Lu Yu’s eyes as he slowly closed them, simultaneously applying force between his teeth…

“Hiss—” Cha Zhe, engrossed in the kiss, furrowed his brow, pulled back, a trace of blood slipping from the corner of his lips.

Lu Yu kept his eyes shut, motionless.

Cha Zhe wiped the blood from his lips, sneered, “You really don’t want me to kiss you? Ha, Lu Yu, you’re really strange. Even if I sleep with you after just one kiss, so what? You and Tai Lie haven’t formed a bond, without a bond, having s*x is natural, isn’t it?”

Cha Zhe’s finger slid down Lu Yu’s chest slowly. “Your upper mouth can bite me, but the lower one…”

“That’s enough.” Lu Yu grabbed his hand, eyes flickering, “Although I can’t do anything to you, I still have the strength to bite off my own tongue.”

“Cha Zhe, I regret it.” Lu Yu gritted his teeth.

Not regretting saving someone, but regretting not paying more attention to the people around him, not discovering Cha Zhe’s intentions earlier. If he had, even if he didn’t drive Cha Zhe away, he would have thrown him into the valley, not kept him by his side. He had already helped Cha Zhe enough.

Cha Zhe lowered his gaze, stood up, seeming somewhat hurt, “Is that so.”

Lu Yu pursed his lips, the anger still not subsided, “Yes, Cha Zhe, it’s not too late to turn back now. Take me back, and I won’t tell anyone—”

“Impossible.” Cha Zhe interrupted him, smirking. “Lu Yu, stop deceiving yourself. If you had the strength to bite off your own tongue, why didn’t you do it to me just now? You have feelings for me.”

Listening to his decisive deduction, Lu Yu was dumbfounded. What kind of logic was this? Not biting him to death meant he had feelings for him?

How could someone so young go mad like this?

Before Lu Yu could even respond, Cha Zhe put down the soup bowl and walked away contentedly.

Lu Yu held his breath. There was anger, a hint of absurdity, but mostly resignation. If even this kind of threat didn’t work on Cha Zhe and only made him feel even better about himself, how could he deal with his increasingly outrageous behavior…

Cha Zhe turned around, the satisfied expression on his face instantly disappearing without a trace.

Exiting the cave, he leaned weakly against the wall, forced a bitter smile, and pressed against his chest, which faintly ached.

He still couldn’t stand to hear him say “regret” to himself…

Despite despising that Matai man, why couldn’t he win Lu Yu’s affection when he deliberately emulated his dominant demeanor? Was it because he arrived late? Or was he not as strong as that Matai man, unable to give Lu Yu a sense of security?

Cha Zhe lowered his head, looking at his clenched fist with bulging veins, and suddenly smashed it against a nearby rock.

With a bang, the half-meter-long and wide stone shattered.

Cha Zhe gritted his teeth.

Wasn’t he strong enough too? That Matai man, even if he was stronger, couldn’t protect Lu Yu. And he, absolutely wouldn’t let such a thing happen.

He wouldn’t let go.

Cha Zhe’s expression hardened once again.

“Xia Hua, wake up.”

Xia Cao shook the deeply sleeping Xia Hua awake.

Yawning, Xia Hua rubbed her drowsy eyes. “Elder sister?”

Seeing her dazed look, Xia Cao frowned. “Did you dream about the Witch?”

“Witch?” Xia Hua was first puzzled, then suddenly remembered her mission and became anxious. “Witch! I didn’t dream about Witch!” To be precise, she didn’t dream about anything.

Lu Yu hadn’t explicitly mentioned to them that he needed someone to enter the dream with him, so everyone naturally assumed that as long as they slept, they could see Witch. Now that this method didn’t work anymore, everyone was feeling a bit panicked.

Xia Hua bit her lip. “Is Witch unable to sleep, or…” She didn’t want to say the rest of her thoughts out loud.

Xia Cao patted her head, trying to suppress her worries. “I’ll go find Zhu Hua and promise them a rewards. They’ve agreed earnestly. They’re more familiar with both the Beast Plain and other lands than we are. They’ll help us find Witch.”

Xia Hua was still uneasy. “But they haven’t found Mao Pu before…”

Xia Cao replied, “That’s different. They’ve never seen Mao Pu before, so even if they encountered him, they wouldn’t recognize him. But they’ve all seen Witch. Anyway, let’s not dwell on that. Xia Hua, can you still sleep? If not, go out and look for Witch. Leave the rest here to continue sleeping.”

Xia Hua shook her head, indicating she couldn’t sleep and wanted to go out to find Witch. Previously, she fell asleep with the hope of finding Witch, but now, not seeing him, the worry in her heart made it impossible for her to sleep.

In such a vast land, finding one person was extremely difficult, even though the Matai people were physically strong and ran very fast. Until nightfall, they still hadn’t found anyone. Moving around at night was very dangerous. Both the people from the Blackwater tribe and Zhu Hua’s group gave up searching and returned to their own camps, leaving only the Matai people tirelessly searching.

At the same time, in the Beast Plain, inside a refined treehouse.

“You’re saying the person I had you watch disappeared?” The man lounged lazily on a smooth fur-covered wooden recliner.

His voice was indifferent, devoid of emotion.

The person kneeling below trembled slightly. “I-I saw someone from their tribe take him onto a wooden raft, heading towards the Green Forest Land.”

The man raised an eyebrow. “Heading towards?”

The kneeling person hurriedly said, “No, not heading towards, it’s to the Green Forest Land!”

The man stroked his chin. “Are you sure it was someone from their own tribe?”

“Yes, I saw the person coming out of their wooden shed!”

The man smirked. “So someone acted before me. I didn’t expect my fellow countrymen to be quite popular.”

The kneeling person cautiously said, “Witch, what should we do…”

The man paused, indifferent. “Send someone to the Green Forest Land to search. If you can’t find him, forget it. My fellow countrymen isn’t that capable anyway.”

“Yes!” The person below respectfully responded and was about to leave when the man called him back.

“Wait, there’s one more thing. Our ‘invited’ friend is no longer useful. Dispose of him.” The man said casually.

He had thought the person who crossed over just like him had some special ability, but it turned out he was just good at cooking. If he had known earlier, he wouldn’t have hesitated and captured someone else for interrogation. Instead, he would have brought that person over to improve the food. The food in this primitive society was truly bad, but it wasn’t a big deal.

The man wasn’t worried that the person he captured would deceive him. As far as he knew, primitive people had low morals and loyalty. After such harsh interrogation, they would have confessed everything. There couldn’t be any secrets left.

Squinting, the man thought about the high combat power of that small tribe. Once he freed his hands, he would deal with them as well.

After receiving the man’s orders, the person left the treehouse. First, he sent two people to the Green Forest Land, then he called two more people to a guarded wooden shed.

Creak~

The door of the wooden shed slowly opened.

The person huddled in the corner seemed to have not seen sunlight for a long time, lifting his hand to shield his eyes. When he shakily lowered his hand, a miserable face covered in bloodstains was revealed.

It was none other than Mao Pu, who had been missing for a long time!

The person who came smirked, “Hey, your mission is complete. It’s time to ‘hit the road’.”

Mao Pu trembled and said weakly, “I-I still have something to say.”

The newcomer disdainfully replied, “No need to talk. You’re no longer needed.”

Mao Pu was suddenly shocked. What did that mean?

“Did you… Did you capture Lu Yu?” Mao Pu asked.

The person toyed with a stone blade. “Just someone who cooks better. Why would we, from the First Beast Plain Tribe, bother to capture him?”

Perhaps because he was too subservient to Witch earlier, he encountered someone he could easily dispose of. The newcomer sneered, “Even if we didn’t capture him, that person probably won’t live much longer. Your people might have taken him to the Green Forest Land. He’s likely either been eaten by wild beasts or killed by someone.”

“What are you saying?” Mao Pu was bewildered and wanted to ask a few more questions, but the person wasn’t willing to talk further.

The person approached Mao Pu with the stone blade, a hint of cruelty flashing in his eyes, and Mao Pu realized the situation.

“Let me go!” Mao Pu tried to resist, but he had been tortured for too long and had no strength left. The person behind him held his arms, rendering him immobile.

The stone blade viciously plunged into Mao Pu’s chest.

Blood splattered everywhere.

Mao Pu screamed in agony before fainting.

The person clapped his hands casually and said, “Alright, throw him into the forest to feed the beasts.”

The two men who had been holding Mao Pu nodded, lifted him, and walked into the forest. They tossed Mao Pu’s bloodied body like a broken piece of fur, without even sparing a glance, before leaving.

As the footsteps of the two men gradually faded away, the person lying motionless on the ground slowly opened his eyes.

Mao Pu struggled to sit up, grabbed a few leaves, and pressed them against his wound. Taking a deep breath, he forcefully pulled out the dagger from his chest, then used the leaves to stop the bleeding.

Luckily, his heart wasn’t on that side; otherwise, he would have died for sure.

But even now, his situation wasn’t much better. Mao Pu forced a bitter smile.

He could only hope that the pills Lu Yu gave him were effective.

Mao Pu swallowed the red pill hidden behind his teeth.

Lu Yu gave him this red pill after Mao Pu helped him out, claiming it could heal minor injuries.

He wasn’t sure if it would work…

Mao Pu didn’t hold much hope for it. His injuries were too severe, and even if the pill did have some effect, he might die before it took effect.

Mao Pu felt a twinge of sadness. He hadn’t earned many fur resources yet. If he had known earlier, he would have found a partner and had a child, at least leaving something behind…
