Universal Makeover V
Universe -The Star Rings
Ring - 2nd
Reality - Divine Realm
It was the same spot Ozai began his training that I appeared in. I didn't waste time repeating the same things I did on Sol. In moments the Divine realm was different.
Unlike the immense power and danger that Sol exhibited the Divine realm exhibited Majesty. Rivers of light, beautiful trees, animals that looked less dangerous and far more graceful. It was a beautiful realm.
The next part was similar to Sol. The Silver Temple rose like a gem in the center of a mountain. Reflecting all the wondrous light around it. Just like the Eye of the Sun, it towered over everything and anything in the realm. Like it was meant to. The features within similar to that of the Tower as well.
The dungeons were set, the souls in them. But there was one last thing. A difference. Hildelith had not named Sol for a reason. Sol was what it was, both as an existence and a thing. Here it was different. The Divine realm was no beating heart of any Primordial.
She stretched out a palm and set on the ground. Closing her eyes she took a deep breath. It had been a while since One of the Speakers was used. When she opened her eyes it was like a difference that nothing could understand. Her voice bore not just aura but a weight that couldn't be quantified. A weight that could be felt in all her universe. Animals, beings, and any living thing sapient or not felt the weight of authority and command.
"TORHEIM".
Her words rippled through the realm and the very ground creaked and shuddered in agreement to its new name. It wasn't a suggestion, not an imperial edict, it was fact. It was as simple as making mortals accept air or as simple as taking away a Qitsarlmer underwater breathing. It just was.
Closing her eyes once more the intense pressure faded.
It was like the universe could breathe again. Fortunately for them.
Vanishing from Torheim, I reappeared in the Dream Realm. The dream realm was a tricky place. I couldn't even remember half the rules this place had. The mirror dimension being here too made it all more annoying. Luckily I had Akasha to help.
Once more the Template was used and once again another realm was covered by aether. It was a place of flux when it was done. With constantly changing features, reflecting streams, fauna, and Flora that quickly tried to make sense of their environment.
It was hard to select a place for the Dream Realm's tower with everything in constant flux. Luckily since she'd already chosen the cores of each realm as a point the same wasn't different here.
The realm shook as the Dream Spire rose. I didn't give a particular care for anything I was making at this point. It was like Akasha had thought. It just got bland to make and I felt myself egging everything to hurry up and get done.
Thr Universe went still again as a familiar pressure returned. "OREAHEIM".
The dungeons were set the box of orbs opened and flew to various places. I looked up to see the mirror sky. One that reflected everything below. That made me grin though. An amusing thought for how the players would handle this.
I was in the 4th Ring next. Not actually in it but hovering right above it. Looking down at the tapestry of lights that was space. The template for this realm had been tricky since I didn't need to terraform anything. In the end, I had chosen something different. Aether didn't grab onto anything. It spread in a wide direction, spilling in a circular pattern until it had grabbed onto the edges of the bands just like the tapestry did.
Then it vanished.
In its place was a sight that just looked wrong. It wasn't wrong as in ugly or Eldritch. Quite the opposite it was beautiful. A place of white light, silver sparkles, and more. Rivers, holy creatures, it was clear what this place was. Still, its location made it weird to look at. Hanging like a piece of flat solid rock over the tapestry it elicited a sensation of falling.
But it wasn't falling. It was stuck to the bands like they were its pillars.
'Not our finest work'. Akasha grumbled. I shrugged.
"I tried". It was strange with how it even had an atmosphere that blocked out the nothingness and kept in whatever air they breathed. "Looking like a dome".
I opened the boxes and let out the orbs that flew into it. Then went about planting the dungeons.
'A bit of an issue. I doubt the dungeons would work well without the rivers spilling in here'. Akasha pointed out. True enough the position on the bands made it so the rivers flowed around it. Unlike the realms that let the rivers spill in through inlets and streams that were also the ley lines.
I scratched my head.
'Maybe we could just let the waters fall in through the upper bands'.
I hummed looking at the bands of the Dream realm. 'It could work'. I replied. I'd have to let the rivers flowing past and almost into the bands of the mortal realm slip out through spaces. I appeared next to said band.
Bones creaked as Argonne wings formed on my back. With my position between two realms, I was technically in the nothingness which meant no gravity if I wished. Poking at the bands with black fingers I chipped away them till a large flow of water poured down on the new addition. I did this in four places and then reappeared back on the surface.
Watching rivers of water tumble from beyond the atmosphere made me smirk. 'I guess even errors make good things'. I could see the players marveling at where the water came from.
The Heavens unlike the other realms didn't break free from the ground. Rather I set it in place like a giant city in the center of the new sub realm.
"AETHERHEIM". Once more the pressure came and was gone.
The abyss was not what I expected. That made sense considering nothing was even here. A subconscious part of my mind expected to see demons already. It was just that normal thought. The ground was red like mars and the rivers that ran through did nothing to help the bad earth.
I set the template into place and watched as it all changed. 'You always wonder why aether is a last resort '. I sent to Akasha. She just shrugged.
'Last resorts become no resorts when you decide to keep testing how powerful you are'. I rolled my eyes and turned back to the new realm I was in.
It was, surprisingly beautiful. The bioluminescent flora of course, not the creeping vines, the blossoms, and not the insects. I marveled at it all even as the roars of creatures shook the air, alerting the realm to their presence.
"Abyssals. So full of themselves". I shook my head.
At the center of the realm I grew the next one. Like the majority, it ripped free from the ground. Unlike the majority it wasn't a tower. A large thick pillar rose I into the air even as the ground quaked. Then it pulsed. A blast of energy swept through the realm and all the roars and cries went silent.
I admired the structure. Standing proudly. The Black Throne.
'I have to admit. This one is the sleekest of all. Still...' the force appeared in her little fairy form just to shoot me a look. '...the description. I know it's a challenge but...really '.
I ignored her as I looked around admiring the dim lighting of the realm.
'Most of them will die you know?'.
"They could all die in any of the realms. Nothing special. Besides it's the abyss. Should be a bit more different". I argued.
I eyed the atmosphere above. In some places and some settings, the red and black skies would be beautiful. Here, it just brought dread. Below the land was dark and it was the red earth and the red sky that fought to grant just a bit of light to the place.
"To be honest I still don't get why we have an Abyss". I muttered. "NETHERHEIM"
The pressure was so quick that the creatures here barely held their breath for a moment. It was hard to know how affected they were since the Black Throne already shut them up. My eyes wandered to the base of the thron3 and I couldn't help but smirk.
Hells had always been an interesting setting for most stories. I didn't expect anything less for my Netherheim.
I was gone in the next second and appeared right in the center of the Rack of Life. When creating the templates we honestly did not know what to do here. What did one do in a realm of Mystical energy and the birth place of the Creator's Force.
I set the template and watched the place change into a realm of mist and large tablets of stone rising as high as mountains. The mist went up to one's calves and trees grew in all directions and yet there were barely any forests.
Right above the Plate, my Akashic force was created from a monolith appeared. No shakes, no trembles just appeared. It was a large structure similar in height to most of the others in the realms. Symbols and signs were etched on it. A long project that was still underway.
'You know The Omniscient Codex is a mouthful '.
"Luckily it won't be our tongues getting bitten while saying it". Akasha grumbled in defeat again while I took a little look around trying to hide my smile. Nothing much changed exempting the mist, trees, tablets, and the Monolith. Oh and the few entities that were added too.
We were gone, appearing in the Omega Point. I blinked then sighed. If the Abyss or Netherheim was struggling with the darkness then the Omega point had lost that struggle. It was pitch black in here.
"Was it this bad when I brought Freyr here?" I wondered.
'From your memories. No'.
I shrugged. "LET ME SEE". The darkness remained but now it wasn't a problem for me. "I need to catch up on all the kids powers".
I set the template and watched things appear. Still the darkness remained. A sky of darkness or was it the entire realm that was just making it all look similar. Atleast there were flora and fauna here and there. The same roars echoed through the environment.
"Shut those drakes up". I murmured as a Castle rose from the ground. Unlike the others though it barely went halfway before it halted its rise. Then a pulse of chaos spread out that effectively shut the drakes up.
"NILHEIM"
The last stop in the realms. Abstract.
"We've never been here".
'You have not'.
"It's amazing".
'Yes. It is'.
"It's different to see it through you than to feel it myself".
The template appeared in my hand as I took in the empty realm. It was a gray realm of will. I could see the very emanations of thoughts and will. My imagination formed mirages that I simply had to will into being. I didn't even need a template to make it all.
No one could undo something made of grander and powerful will. Aether spreadz and like expected the realm was new. A card appeared in my hand and I chuckled at the sight. The Will here has seen the template for its own monument and shaped it into what I saw the templates as.
'I like this place'.
I thought of Mum and saw her. A mirage of her. Those beautiful eyes of hers begging to be made real. I snuffed it away. This could potentially be the most dangerous realm of all.
The possibilities of what players could will was intense. Standing there still with the card in hand I did some tests and exhaled as I realized few things. One needed to know what they were doing to make something. Meaning if one had a good idea of what a sword that could rend reality looked like and did, they could make it a reality here.
'It has its limits. As Creator and Akashic Force we will always be aware. Plus now we have the fate system'.
I didn't really mind. With this realm available there would be beings to stop any of the player gods from being stupid. I just had to make sure to steer them right. If they fell out of line in ways that didn't affect me or my children, fine. If it did affect me, then I'd simply End their game.
'You won't have to'. Akasha reminded me.
I nodded and gripping the card with two fingers I tossed it into the air. It spun like a disk and shot through the air guided by the Will here till it found the center of the realm. Then it landed point first and sunk into the ground.
I smiled as the realm shuddered. From nothing formed Five statues all facing the other and looking to the ground. A ground where a head was already set with an open mouth facing the sky.
"MURHIL"
Floating above the Star River as it flowed to its destinations I let a template drop into the sea. The aether turned the golden river milky white for a second before gathering at the center of the river to form what I named THE ATLAN A large island that teemed with all life possible. At its center I dropped another template forming The kingdom. An oasis at the center of the island where five thrones sat in water with each seat facing off into the opposing distance forming a ring.
But it was the item that was stuck into the center of the seats with its points facing up that truly caught my eye. Another grin. All these arranging was boring but thinking of how all these would play out was amusing.
The final templates were applied to the ring creating even more changes. The band for one did not change one bit, still various structures, fauna, and flora grew from it that were adapted to it. Bridges that rolled over the rivers and several weird-looking contraptions formed all over the bands of all nine rings. The monument was set on the fifth ring, on the other side of the river away from The Atlan. It was a Long thin tower with two Leon s at its tips and a ring held between both prongs. The Rod.
Unlike Aetherheim, this one was formed on the very edge of the band facing towards the realms. At its banks lapped the star river.
'IIt'scomplete'.
"No. It's not. There is one thing left". I vanished leaving all the new creatures that I had made to their devices as I reappeared and settled into my Throne. Above my head, the Aetherium Circlets hummed with their power. I shut my eyes.
'Akasha. Spawn the other beasts in their selected abodes. You don't need me for those'.
'What should I name them?'.
'Nothing. The remain what they are. But if needed for cclarity'ssake. Let them be known as the Tri-Spheres. Now take me to where you sent my daughter. Descend'.
