THIRD PERSON POV

Little Haero lay in his crib arms and legs in the air while his babyish gurgles filled the palace room. Lots of memories and emotions from his time with his mother filled his mind. He kicked and grasped relentlessly for anything while he just lay there. A gleam of intelligence was evident in the little one's eyes.

He lay there for quite a while before the strangest thing took place. Haero rose from his crib, not with his feet but rather floating up. His body left the bars of his baby crib and floated over to the huge windows that kept him inside.

His big eyes reflected the bright gleam of the Sol shining outside, an indescribable look of hunger appearing in his gaze. One that was difficult to miss.

A babyish babble left his mouth as he made a dance while making grabbing motions at the Sol from his position as if he could take it. His movements showed no results which gave the baby a pause, a slight frown appearing on its face.

"Uwaaaah"

Letting out a scream that echoed in the room caused the insides to rattle. The empty room with only a crib shook, the window glasses lined with gold vibrating.

'CRACK'

Lines of cracks appeared on the windows spreading as the baby wailed. Haero paused his attention going to those cracks. A gleam shone in his eyes as he studied them before a slight bop of his head occurred.

Hia wails resurfaced higher in intensity. The cracks on the window intensified and a pitch increase in Haero's screams had the glass shattering. Its pieces rained down to the floor both inside and outside. The wailing halted instantly as the baby giggled with glee while crawling in the air forward.

His attempts had him shooting out of the window and into the nothingness outside. Baby Haero halted his eyes taking in the beautiful scenery that lay before him. While intelligent he could not describe things yet all he knew was their beauty.

He knew that it wasn't this way before, he remembered barely but still, he didn't care. He looked around some more not seeing anyone. While he wondered where his mama was Haero was more interested in the yellow and red ball that hung up there.

Giggling excitedly the baby crawled and floated up to the ball. The closer he got the fuzzier and more comfortable he felt. Not as comfortable as he felt with Mama but more comfortable than his crib. Now in front of the ball, Haero clapped gleefully before spreading out his little arms like he expected to be carried. Yet his mouth opened too contradicting the first pose.

Within Haero's mouth, his gullet was shown expanding and stretching apart. A slight vortex suddenly erupted spinning and churning like a whirlpool, creating a suction effect inside his mouth that instantly pulled on Sol. Haero waved his arms in babyish joy as the Sol quivered and then like shattered pieces of glass or sand began flowing into his mouth.

The series of notifications were lost to the little one as he barely understood them. His focus was on the filling effect he got from within him as the pieces of Sol flew into his mouth. The process went on for a while before Haero like any other baby got tired and slept off right where he was.

As he slept floating before Sol, it attempted to recover its lost energy while the baby glowed imperceptibly. His white hair grew longer while his body developed to that of a two-year-old. When Haero woke up again the baby barely hesitated in continuing its former meal. This time though the suction was even greater. The pieces of the Sol flying into his mouth increased both in size and speed.

Sol could barely withstand as it shrunk monumentally while little Haero relished the warmth of the liquid energy flowing through its body. His body was actively developing as the Sol poured down his throat and by the time Sol was already nothing but the size of a bead he was almost a four-year-old babe.

The energy kept pouring down his throat until finally, the bead shot as well into his black hole of a mouth dissolving and flowing down.

Opening his eyes when he tasted nothing Haero's eyes widened. Surprisingly he felt a sense of shock as a feeling that he had eaten too much washed over him. The boy could only glance around in the darkness as he fretted.

'This was why Mama put that huge ball. I thought it was food. So it was for chasing this darkness away'.

'Mama will be mad'

"I ate all of Mama's light'

These were Haero's thoughts. The baby intelligently realized that the Sol had been used to light up the universe. Of course, this deduction only came due to the instant darkness he was plunged into after consuming the Sol.

Bits of lights flickered below from the universe but it was nothing to light up the place as Sol did. Haero floated there a pale expression on his face. While he didn't exactly know good or bad he instinctively knew that this wasn't a warm feeling he had.

So he was instinctively not feeling right.

Haero wished he could replace the Sol. He wished he hadn't eaten it. He wailed for it to come back. He cried out waving his arms back and forth hoping for the sudden reappearance of Sol. Of course, nothing happened but Haero wasn't having it. He kept waving his hands glaring at the spot that was once Sol's. If one could read his thoughts then words like 'appear' or 'come on' would be heard echoing in his mind.

Silver eyes glared at the spot as Haero wondered if Sol wanted him to get in trouble with his mama. Scoffing Haero narrowed his eyes even more willing the Sol to make a reappearance. His little body blazed hot and from his chest, a line of red, gold and bright embers of fire and magma rock formed.

Haero watched eyes wide as the particles coalesced till a small ball, not even half of what once hovered there shone its light everywhere. Haero while disappointed at this could barely keep himself awake to grumble as fatigue hit him. His eyes drooped shut while he floated there.

Unknown to him the new Sol pulled him closer dragging him into its orbit as like a planet he revolved around it.

A few minutes passed before a loud feminine voice spread through the universe in a shockwave.

"Haero!".

Yet the little boy slept completely unbothered by the happenings around him.
