Chapter 25: The Lock of Absolutism
Shinsui's POV
The chamber was silent, the flickering light of the torches casting long shadows across the stone walls. Before me stood the gathered elders of the Uzumaki Clan, their expressions a mixture of curiosity and anticipation.
I unrolled the scroll in my hands, revealing a complex web of seals etched in ink infused with my very essence. This was no ordinary sealing technique—this was the culmination of everything I had studied, everything I had mastered.
"The Lock of Absolutism," I announced, my voice steady. "A one-time seal capable of sealing anything into anything."
A hushed murmur spread through the chamber, but I continued before questions could arise.
"This is not an ordinary fūinjutsu. It is an absolute seal, one that cannot be undone by any normal means. However, there is one condition: what is used as the vessel must be strong enough to withstand what is sealed within."
I let that sink in.
"If the vessel is too weak, the seal will shatter. And whatever was sealed… will be released."
The weight of my words settled over them, their expressions shifting from awe to realization. This was no mere tool—it was both salvation and destruction, depending on how it was used.
With this, one could seal away an entire battlefield, a tailed beast, or even something beyond human comprehension. But if misused…
"The risks are great," an elder finally spoke, his voice cautious. "But the potential is even greater."
I nodded. "That is why it must be wielded wisely. This is not a technique for war or conquest—it is a technique to maintain balance. A last resort when all else has failed."
Silence filled the chamber once more as they absorbed the gravity of my words.
And as I stood there, the scroll in my hands, I knew—this was the legacy I would leave behind.
