Chapter 57: Of Wild Pleasures And Endless Pain
[SAKURA]
One by one, the Lycan queen's pets walked in.
They looked so beautiful and perfect, that it was almost obvious that they had dressed for their queen. They looked like they had been called to give the presentation of their lives and honestly, maybe this was on for them.
This was their chance to change what had happened in the kingdom and to see to it that life was better for them. Perhaps this was their chance to also make sure they were useful to their queen given they had been having a break for more than thirteen months.
Oh, how it was a timeline that had left them confused and unsure of where they stood with their queen. Until today, when the call came, they were reminded that their uses were in the damn palace.
Usually, they would spend their days enjoying the luxuries of the Crown Palace without even having to work because they were the queen's pets. They were to be taken care of and untouched, save for the queen herself.
It was something the entire Kingdom of Doiwa had come to lean into and that they had grown to accept and one that they couldn't object to either way.
"Your majesty, they are all here," Lola said as he looked at the thirty selected pets for the evening. It had been a hard choice for her seeing as they had all wanted to see the queen, so she figured the newest ones were best to go first.
If they didn't survive it, then the fates were fucked over and others would replace them. That was just how Sakura's pet system worked. But would she ever be able to replace Kiyomi Kimura now that she had made the woman sign the pet contract?
Would it ever make sense when that time came and Kiki had to figure out what she meant to the woman and where she stood, or was this something that Sakura was going to scrape off so that she could remain with her Erasthai?
Oh, but the gamble was real.
Life had changed for the better and worse for them, which was not as easy to explain and perhaps that was why we were willing to take on whatever was handed over to them.
It wasn't the easiest of things, but it was a time when love and life had to make a show either way.
"You can leave now," Sakura said absentmindedly as she thought back to the beautiful doctor after her heart.
While her pets got ready to be of use to her, Sakura's mind drifted to the girl who had defied her from the very first day, the feisty woman who had made her question her sanity more than once.
And more than anything, the only person in the entire realm to whom she had relinquished control of her life. She was never in control when it came to Kiyomi and that was the one thing that made her the happiest.
If anything, she was always more than okay with following the tides to where Kiyomi would lead her. It was a trait so dangerous for a Lycan queen as unhinged as Sakura Watanabe but then with Kiyomi, Sakura wasn't just a queen.
She was the girl she had always wished to be, she was just a person and she was seen as that. She had been treated like a girl who looked her age and honestly, it had been reliving.
At the apartment, she had gotten to interact with women who thought she was just a twenty-eight-year-old and who had nothing against her. Women who saw her as just a kid who needed to let go and honestly it had made her want to go to Odanera more times than she could admit.
Maybe it was because of her parental issues, but Sakur had strived to be a better person even then. From those women, she had learned a lot about how to be human and how to interact with others like any normal person would.
They made her feel welcome and loved and gods be damned if she said she didn't want to go back there.
She wished to stay in that side of the realm and if she hadn't been tasked with protecting Doiwa from people who were evil and almost like her, Sakura would have thrown the towel in the queenship and left for Odanera, the one place that made her feel wanted, and not just out of obligation.
It had felt like home, a real home, something that her mother, Izanami Watanabe, had never been able to give to her.
"Yes, Your Majesty," Lola had said somewhere in between, but Sakura was too cooped up in her thoughts of Kiyomi Kimura that she hadn't even bothered to say a thing as Lola walked out and left her with the pets she had demanded come to see her.
It was a test of her faith, that was what Sakura had learned hours later into getting pleasured by her pets. The moon goddess was testing her fate by pairing her up with a Lycan rogue who held the last name that had traumatized the entirety of the Doiwa kingdom.
It was a truth that Sakura had wanted to be blind to, but even he knew that it was just a matter of time before everything caught up with her and she would have to decide which side of the realm she would be leaning on.
Would she lean in as a queen determined to see Doiwa grow and be safe or would she lean in as an Erasthai who would never let anyone hurt Kiyomi?
Was that what she was getting to, or was this the one battle that Sakura had long known she was bound to love and that she was actually losing already? Oh, but it was challenging, but surely Sakura had to have thought about it more than once, no?
"Mis… mistress please…" one of the pets begged as Sakura ate out her cunt like it was a delicacy.
Anyone who saw them was inclined to think that Sakura was having the time of her life, when in reality, she was trying her very best to seem convincing so her Erasthai wouldn't be a target.
She had always told herself that Kiyomi was a target from the day that Cronos had spotted her and honestly, it pissed Sakura off that she couldn't protect Kiyomi without her seeming to have defined the accords of the land she had set up on her own.
Traitors were to be murdered.
Rogues were to be murdered.
Enemies were to be murdered and yet as she sank her face into the wet sopping cunt that was covered in slick cum, Sakura couldn't help but be amused at the thought that she had fallen in love with a rogue with the worst last name.
It was not even funny, but what would she do right now? Her mind was in overdrive and she despised the fact that each time she had managed to come up with a better conclusion and solution for their predicament.
She knew that at the end of the day, she would have to choose between Doiwa and Kiyomi, and honestly, she didn't mind choosing Kiyomi. It wasn't even up for debate for her, but she was still bargaining with that.
The Doiwa kingdom had been her home for the past thousands of years and Kiyomi was just another rogue. Then again, she was the rogue that had made Sakura's heart start beating again.
She had been the girl who had made Sakura understand what it meant to have emotions correlate with the beating of her heart and finally, Sakura had loved that for the both of them even more.
Perhaps it was because whenever Sakura was scared, Kiyomi could hear her heartbeats and help her put.
It was like her beating heart was doing more communication than she was and frankly, that had gotten Sakura looking forward to seeing Kiyomi each day after her shift at the Odanera City Hospital.
It was a crazy thing for a queen to do, but Sakura wasn't a queen in Odanera. She was just a girl who had fallen head over heels with someone she didn't need to, but she had no regrets about it whatsoever. She really had lost her mind, no?
"You're doing so well for me, pets," Sakura remembered to compliment as she flopped on the bed after her pet's fifth orgasm. She knew that it was her turn to be pleasured and boy did she hate it, but, as Otaru had said, Walls did have ears and Sakura had to be careful.
