Claimed By A Dragon Prince

Chapter 13: Professor Magnus

Dimitri and Lily quickly get through their breakfast knowing the king and her professor were waiting on them. "I'll meet you in 10 minutes. I just need to run to my room real quick." Lily didn't see any of her close so she kept the sheet quickly making her way to her room.

Opening the door a woman she wasn't expecting to be there was lounging on her bed sitting up once she seen Lily. "Who the hell are you?" The redhead demanded getting off the bed strolling over to Lily as she closed the door. "This is my room. I should be asking you that. Unless your a servant I suggest you leave. You don't have permission to be in here."

Lily could tell this woman never took orders having come into a room uninvited. "As if. This room is for the second prince's mate. You have no right to be here." Hearing this Lily thought it was strange he had her so close to his quarters as a guest. "And how would you know where his future mates quarters are?"

The redhead scoffed at her stepping close to Lily pointing her finger at herself. "I am his future mate! Tramps like you are just his play things. His father has decided it all." Lily's heart contracted at her words just as Dimitri came in. Lily turned to him then rushed to her pack seeking the bathroom fighting off tears.

The redhead laughs under her breath, turning her attention to the prince. "My lord, I was hoping to see you this morning. Have you eaten yet?" Dimitri was fed up with this woman and her meddling in to his affairs. Grabbing her by the throat dragging her to the double doors pushing them open she fights him noticing where he is taking her. "No! Please, my Lord! She is nothing! Don't, please!"

Those words fell on deaf ears as he drags her over the edge holding her by the throat over a thousand foot drop. "Why are you.... doing this.....to me?....I am.....your...ma..ttee." The woman tried to speak even as her throat was being squeezed shut. "Don't kill her." Dimitri heard Lily's voice behind him.

Turning his head slightly he seen that she was dressed he her tight pants, tunic, and corset top with knee high brown boots. Her family crest hung loosely around her neck before she quickly tucked it away staring at him blankly. "We have more important things to do then worry about your fiance'. I'm sorry, my lady. I will find other rooms."

Lily turned to leave as Dimitri pulled the woman in dropping her on the balcony. Lady Scarlet gasped for breath looking up at the prince pleading with her eyes. "I have matters to attend to today. You had better be gone before I come back." Dimitri made sure she knew that her presence was a hindrance to him as he quickly walked out of the room.

Lady Scarlett had an evil look on her face from being discarded for a wolfless nobody. She had heard there was a new researcher brought in by the second prince, but she thought it was a man not a woman. The fact that she came in that room with nothing but a sheet on told her everything she need to know about the little tart. *Time to get rid of the competition.* Lady Scarlet left the room making a plan to have the little b*tch disappear.

Dimitri had to run to catch up to Lily stopping her just before she reached his father's office. Pulling her shoulder forcing her to turn around his heart stilled seeing the dejected look on her face then go blank seeing him. "We have work to do, Prince Dimitri." She reached for the door opening it putting a fake smile on as she sees the person on the other side.

Dimitri followed seeing his uncle sitting in front of his father stop speaking as the entered. "Lily! It is good to see you! I had hoped you would take my offer. I am surprised my nephew is vouching for you. How did you two meet?" Dimitri wasn't sure how to answer that when Lily spoke up.

"When I left the academy I went in search of the Lumus flower, my professor here told me existed. He gave me the key to the hidden door of the secret garden and gave me a general area of where to look. I was almost there when I came upon a village that had just been massacred. I looked to see if there were any survivors when the prince and his squad seen me thinking I had done the carnage before them." The King and Prof. Magnus had serious looks on their faces listening to her story.

"Of course, I didn't do it. I had no traces of blood on myself or signs of a fight. The Prince had my belongings searched and found my notebook reading some of my work then offered me the same job you did, Professor." Lily omitted the rest knowing it would just complicate the situation.

The Dragon King and Prof. Magnus look to Dimitri to confirm the story. "Yes, I did. I wondered if she was the student you spoke high praises about, Uncle." Prof. Magnus looked to the king as if waiting for an answer. "Do you have any loyalty to the Wolf Clan? I can't hand this project off to some one who isn't one of my Clan." Lily was about to speak when Dimitri interrupted.

"Father what if I can promise you she will be? That she'll be as close as family in the near future." Lily's eye's about popped out of her head hearing him speak shock at what her was saying. The Dragon King was taken aback while Prof. Magnus had a secret smile on his face. "Are you telling me that...." "Yes, Father I am. She is my soon-to-be mate." All the sudden the dragons in the room heard a thump turning to see Lily laying unconscious on the floor. "Lily! Lily!"
