CHANTEL

Chapter 9: CHANTEL

"What did you see?" Chantel asked.

"What do you mean what did I see? I saw all the upper part of your body," Max's head screamed.

"I saw nothing," he said confidently.

Chantel was sitting opposite Max while the twins sat in the corner.

"Do you want to die?" Chantel asked.

"Can you even kill a fly?" Max's head screamed again.

"No, I don't want to die," he answered.

"Then tell me what you saw!"

"You really want to know what I saw? Alright, I am going to blow it off to you," his head yelled.

"I saw--- I saw white bre---"

"STOP!" Chantel interrupted.

"But..."

"Just stop and go."

"I came to---"

"Ga!"

"What is 'Ga'?"

"'Ga' is a Korean word meaning 'go,'" Jane said.

"Alright, I am so sorry, but I want you to serve one of your punishments today."

"Oh really? First of all, if you want me to forgive you, you will have to do just one and a half of your

punishment."

"Which is?"

"I will stay in this house, and you will treat me to a meal just once instead of twice.""That is cruel!"

"Yeah, I know, but stealing glances at a naked woman is more cruel."

"Alright, I agree."

"Should I dress?"

"No, wear a bra and panties," he chuckled along with the twins.

"Jar head!" Chantel cursed.

***

"I am ready!" Chantel came out in a fascinating sleeveless purple gown that accentuated her figure,

with back designs and black designer shoes. Her attractive hair clip held half of her hair while the

other part flowed freely.

"You look wonderfully gorgeous," Max said after a few moments of admiration.

"Thank you," Chantel smiled. "Enjoy home, sweet sisters," she said while Max opened the door for

her. They went downstairs and got into the car. The way passersby stared at them made Max feel

exultant.

"Here we are," Max said when they arrived at an expensive-looking eatery. Max opened Chantel's

car door and walked her into the eatery. After going through the menu, they ordered their choices,

ate, and drank to their satisfaction. Then they chatted a little about relationships.

"How about you and Steven?" Max asked.

"He is supposed to know that it is over."

"So you don't love him? Because if you did, you wouldn't say this."

Then Chantel started opening up.

"You know what? I have never fallen in love with any of the guys I have ever dated."

"What!"

"It's not like I just play games with them. I just don't have any special feelings for them."

"So when you get tired---"

"--- I ditch them!"

"Whoa! You are really something else."

"Am I?"

"Uhm, so there is no one your heart beats for?"

Chantel is not good at hiding her expression. Immediately he asked, her face changed. Then he

realized!

"I am not so sure---" she said after stealing glances at him.

"Hmmm, who is on your mind?" he asked.Chantel's heart skipped a bit. She felt butterflies dancing in her stomach, making her nervous!

"It's getting late. Please, let's go," she changed the topic.

Max is a very great womanizer. He knows a lady's heart. He knew her heart beats for him and he

wouldn't let this night pass without having her!!

"Alright."

***

Max was driving in the middle of the road when Chantel's phone rang.

"Hello."

(Silence)

"Oh, yeah, I am the Zoomer's group leader."

(Silence)

"Oh, we would love to perform at your theater."

(Silence)

Chantel frowned when she noticed Max pulling over to a hotel.

"Yeah, we would be there."

(Silence)

"Okay, thank you."

*cuts call*

"What are we doing here?" Chantel asked curiously.

Max gave a wry laugh.

"Are you really holy? Or are you a pretender?" he asked, raising a brow.

Chantel's countenance dropped immediately.
