Chapter 2: CHANTEL
CHAPTER 2
"Now, Channy, where will we go?" Jade asked, quivering as the transport bus moved.
"There is this guy I am dating, and he's going to help us out," Chantel answered.
"Who? Andre?" Jane asked, curious.
"Not Andre."
"Who else?"
"His name is Steven. He is rich and a good guy, trust me."
"Have you told him we are coming over?"
"Yeah, I texted him, and he said we are invited."
"Oh, thank God!"
"But..."
"But what?" Jade asked, trembling after listening to their conversation.
Chantel bit her lip. "He asked for sêx in return for our stay for six months."
"What!" the twins yelled in unison. The whole bus turned to look at them due to their sudden outburst.
"Driver, Ajangbadi owa oo," Chantel said, ignoring her curious sisters.
"Channy, you're not going to do it, right?" Jane asked worriedly.
"That's the only way we can find shelter," Chantel said.
"Oh God! Please don't do it, I beg of you," Jane and Jade cried out.
"You are making a scene, twins," she loved calling them that, "besides, it's just me doing the job. He ain't gonna sêx you guys, it's just me," Chantel added.
"Jeeezzzeeee, look at how you're talking as if you won't lose a thing."
"Yeah, I know I will lose one thing. My vïrginity!" Chantel said, hailing a taxi.
"I am sorry you have to go through this," Jane said after a long silence in the taxi.
"I am also sorry," Jade said.
"It's okay! As long as we find shelter for six months, I'd rather do that than live with that—that—PÏG!" Chantel cursed.
"J*RHEAD!" Jane cursed.
"A**HOLE!" Jade cursed.
Both Chantel and Jane were surprised Jade cursed. Jade was the holy one; she had never had a fight or quarrel with outsiders since she was born. Dad had really pissed her off this time for her to call him an a**hole.
"Jee, Jade needs a check-up for a fever," Jane commented.
"I am not sick!"
"But how come?"
"How come I called Dad an a**hle? Because he—he—he is going to make you sacrifice your vïrginity for us."
"Oh, my dear little sister, no worries, dear, no worries," Chantel said, brushing Jade's hair with her hand.
"Those sisters never do their hair!!" gossipers cursed.
Their hair dances with them, so they don't make it!
*******
"This is the place," Chantel said to the driver, who immediately stopped by an apartment building.
Jane and Jade couldn't stop staring at the milk-colored building. They both saw a young handsome bloke on the second floor. They wondered why he waved at them until they saw Channy waving back.
"Please don't tell me that is Steve," Jane asked curiously.
"He is Steven, not Steve," Channy smiled.
Jane gave a loud, silly cough. "Oh God, I smell trouble," she said.
"Me too," Jade added.
"Let's go, twins," Channy said, leading the way to the building.
"Oh dear, good afternoon," Steven said, giving Channy a warm hug.
"Good afternoon," the twins chorused.
"Afternoon, twins. How are you guys?" He asked, staring at them. Jade was smiling like a clown while Jane raised a brow.
"We are fine," Jade said, trying to cover for Jane.
"Hmmm, I can already see the difference between you identical twins," Steven said.
"What difference?" Chantel interrupted.
"She is jovial," he pointed at Jade, "while she is rüde," he pointed at Jane.
"Thank goodness you know," Jane scoffed.
"Okay, let's start the introduction. I am Steven. As you must have known, what are your names?"
"Hi! I am Jade, and I hope you take care of me," Jade grinned.
"Okay," Steven said, looking at Jane, who was frowning until Chantel gave her a sign to behave.
"Jane," she finally said.
"Okay, Jane and Jade, you are highly welcome to my home!"
"Yeah, since you've got pü*ies to f**," Jane whispered to just Chantel and Jade's hearing.
"Oh lord!" Chantel said, trying to hide her expression. She hoped and prayed Steven didn't hear Jane.
