Chapter 73: Real Attack
The puppet with the code: Üc207Pr4f57t9 was originally an Ex-Machina later named in her existence as Schwi Dola.
A Prüfer model specialized in analysis, but she was not weak.
Strong enough that in her disguised form she could cut through rock indifferently, tear off some iron plates, and lift a large metal door ten times her height over her head. Her speed was also not slow, capable of making a journey that would take five days on horseback in just half a day.
The Ex-Machina is a hive mind, but Schwi was exiled from the unit due to several systems and logical errors that were "unacceptable," denying her access to any of the 27,451 artificial weapons stored in the Ex-Machina arsenal until shortly before her death when the hive mind considered retrieving the valuable data from the "heart" she had obtained.
For Takara, she was probably the most complex puppet he had ever built, requiring the most resources and effort to construct. It took him years to complete a single unit, even with his current capabilities, demonstrating how advanced and intricate her technology was.
She was his ace in the hole, but at the same time, his last resort, and he was very reluctant to use her.
The reasons were simple: he had some important memories of this character, and despite everything he had done, the puppet had an extremely limited lifespan that he couldn't solve, no matter the power level he decided to employ.
Exactly 251 seconds.
Before the confused gazes of Killer B and the Raikage who had caught up to them, a small pale-skinned girl with long, disheveled dark violet hair and yellow eyes with blood-red curves and black pupils appeared before them.
She was very thin and quite short, wearing an orange hoodie, with a ring on one of her fingers and...
"Is that a puppet?" Killer B observed the metallic "accessories" embedded in her head and the two tails coming out of her back.
No matter from what angle you looked, it was clear the girl was not human.
"So you're from Sunagakure!" the Raikage squinted his eyes as he gritted his teeth, still secretly surprised that they were actually capable of achieving something like this.
He'd make them pay!
Takara stepped out from the protection of the barrier, looked at them silently, and ordered without wasting more time:
"Alles-Lösen: Initiate algorithm to combat unknown enemies!"
"Order received." The eyes of Schwi Dola's puppet lit up, and everyone around could hear her voice as the air started to vibrate. "Warning, all armaments, firepower, and combat maneuvers will be employed."
A small earthquake began to shake the surroundings, and whether it was the Raikage or the monumental form of Hachibi, they momentarily lost their balance as the small puppet before them began to transform.
Hundreds of cables the size of a fist burst out from the puppet's back, the interior of which seemed impossible to contain so many things, and they started to twist and assemble as flashes of electricity crossed their surfaces.
Takara watched this with an unknown expression under his mask.
"Stop her, B!" roared the Raikage as he watched the puppet begin to rise into the air during the transformation, having a very bad feeling.
"Bijudama!"
A tailed beast ball was fired after a few seconds of accumulation and headed towards the puppet, but it was encased by the Truth-Seeking Balls that Takara sent.
"Did you forget about me?" a hollow explosion echoed within the prison, after which it opened and returned to its forms alongside him.
"Damn sand eaters!" cursed the Raikage, nearly choking with rage.
"Bro, I think you should look at that," Killer B pointed to the sky, and the Raikage looked up.
…
"What the hell is that?!" screamed the Raikage as he jumped in shock.
The small puppet had transformed into something even larger than their ultra-secret Chakra Cannon, with at least eighteen strange metallic wings, the five upper ones larger and blue, two large horizontal metallic rings at the bottom, and countless cable outlets everywhere. Eight cannons protruded in rows of four on the back.
The strangest thing of all was that despite the gigantic floating machine in the sky, he could see that the puppet was hanging only by some cables.
Wouldn't it have been easier to just take out the big machine?
But what caught his attention was noticing that the artificial skin seemed to be melting due to the extreme temperatures the puppet was surely handling, recognizing the overheating from some accidents with the construction of the Chakra Cannon in the past.
"Continue, B!" the Raikage told the jinchuriki. "I don't know what that form does, but it won't last long! I'll take care of the mummy."
"Okay! Get ready to eat a big one, Bakayaro! Konoyaro!"
He started mixing chakra to launch a continuous barrage of bijudama, only when he raised his head to aim, he realized something was wrong.
Why was the mummy wrapping itself again with that black thing?
What are those purple lightning bolts accumulating in the sky machine?
"Change, B!" Gyuki shouted desperately.
From Kumogakure, they heard an explosion, and when they turned their heads towards its origin, they saw with wide eyes how the right half of the mountain was melted.
Among the molten rock, they could see a sphere of smoking roasted tentacles wrapping Hachibi, who lowered his tails weakly.
"The last time I got burned like that was with that damn Uchiha!" complained the tailed beast, trembling a bit unsteadily.
"Where's my brother?!" Killer B resumed control and anxiously searched around with his eyes.
He didn't realize that Takara still hadn't chosen to leave the protection of the Truth-Seeking Balls; in fact, he thickened the barrier.
Killer B saw an arm sink into the lava, with the fist closed and the thumb raised.
"Brother?"
Several bright blue lights accumulated in the sky, and he heard the same voice again.
"Full charge, begin the real attack."
A rain of high-intensity blue lasers fell next like raindrops, resulting in each impact transforming into a fire mushroom growing towards the sky.
Three days later, news left the ninja world shocked to the extreme.
Kumogakure, one of the five great villages, had been destroyed without a single blade of grass left.
