Chapter 10: Cute Shoes That I Must Fill.

(*Celia’s POV*)

It took just a few minutes of the phone ringing, to have Sia pick up the call. I was presented with a very pleasant sounding voice. Though, it clearly didn’t belong to a young woman. Maybe a more mature one?…

Mika: “I like milfs, okay? Sia is 35. Not really a milf, but she gives off that feeling at least.” She admitted.

Celia: “…”

Celia: “Anyway, Miss Sia? Do you understand that I am not your girlfriend?” I ask with a serious tone.

Sia: “Yes, I understand. She has already informed me about the deal she made. It is hard to believe, I know. But she has proven to know the future, and that Goddess met me and gave me the memories from all of the times that Mika failed to survive.” She explained.

Celia: “Okay, well I am a cheat in a half, so I should be able to keep her safe. Can you come pick us up? Mika’s old house did burn down, after all.” I ask.

Sia: “She survived the fire before, so I am already on my way there.” She replied.

With those reassuring words, I waited for our ride. Watching the house burn down while waiting, was a decent way to pass the time. After waiting for ten minutes, a very nice sports car rolled up to us. Mika told me it was Sia’s car, so I opened the passenger door and got into the car.

I was met with a very beautiful mature woman. Ah, so this is Mika’s type, huh? Can’t blame her, Sia is super pretty. She does give off a milfy vibe as well.

Celia: “It’s a pleasure to meet you, Sia, I am Celia.” I say with a smile.

Sia: “Yes, it is a pleasure to meet the woman that can actually save my dear girlfriend.” She said with a smile of her own, before driving the car away from the burning house.

Rest in peace, old family home. Well, it’s not my home, but it still deserves my respect. Anyway, what now?

Mika: “In a last-ditch effort, Colt sends some weird private military after us. Stupidly, we always end up dying at this point.” She answered my unspoken question.

As I got her warning, I waited for such an event to happen. It was completely calm, before we got onto the highway. Once on it, it took but a few minutes for heavily armored vehicles to start chasing after us.

Well, they were heavily armored, but I did steal… I mean, “loot” some big caliber firearms from those Skeleton ghosts. I highly doubt that the glass, or even their body armor, can withstand a semi-auto .50 B*ow*lf rifle. This is one of the firearms that I managed to get a lot of ammo for as well!

Celia: “Unlock my window, please.” I ask Sia with a smile.

Sia: “I would advise jumping out, Celia…” She said with a confused expression.

Celia: “I have a System, and a Spatial inventory. I even managed to get some cool firearms. It would be a good idea to use them right now.” I explain, and then Sia unlocked my window for me.

I sat my butt on the car door windowsill, and got out my rifle of choice. It was kinda hard to chamber a round in this position, but Sia’s steady driving truly helped with it.

After I chambered a round, I then opened fire at the vehicles following us. It should be noted, that there aren’t any civilian vehicles right now, as these scary-looking heavily armored ones, have already scared them all off.

As I continued to shoot at them, my assumption turned out to be correct. It took only two rounds to shatter their windows, and their helmets were not up to blocking this kind of caliber. They didn’t get a chance to shoot at us, either. As I would quickly kill anyone of them that popped their heads out to shoot us.

Originally, there were five vehicles chasing us, now there was only one left. With a deep breath, I aimed at the driver of the last vehicle, and fired. Like this was a movie, the glass not only shattered in one shot, but I even killed the driver as well. Lucky!

With a happy smile, I sat down back in the car. Of course, I put away my firearm first before doing so. Sia looked at me with a shocked expression on her face. What’s up with that reaction? I just saved us…

Celia: “What’s wrong?” I ask with a confused tone.

Sia: “Well, I didn’t expect that you would be so good at using firearms, Celia.” She said with a laugh.

Ruina: “Celia! You fucking gave yourself a Skill about using firearms! Could you please stop adding more stuff that I have to fix!?” She yelled.

Celia: “Sorry?” I say with a slightly remorseful tone in my head.

Ruina: “…”

Celia: “So, what do we do now?” I ask Sia.

Sia: “Now?… We haven’t actually gotten this far, so I have no idea. And I assume that Mika doesn’t have an idea either.” She said with a thinking tone.

Mika: “I truly have no idea, Celia. I was promised that we could die, and try as many times as we want. I figured that we could just try, and find ways to survive after many attempts.” She admitted.

Celia: “So you expected me to die a few times?” I ask with an angry tone.

Mika: “Look, I did not expect for you to be such a good find! We have to just wing it from now on.” She said with a sigh.

Celia: “Mika doesn’t have any clue, maybe we can go to your place?” I ask.

Sia: “I don’t think that would be okay…” She said with an unsure tone.

Celia: “Why not? Is it not safe, or something?” I ask with a head tilt.

Sia: “No, it’s just that I would feel weird having another amazing woman in my house. I don’t want to cheat on Mika, after all.” She replied with an embarrassed expression.

Celia: “I am married to two very beautiful women. There is no chance of anything like that happening. Especially when I am in someone else’s body.” I reassure.

Sia: “Alright, that does make me feel better, but what does Mika think?” She asked.

Mika: “It’s a good idea. Sia’s house should be decently safe.” She said.

Celia: “She agreed with my idea.” I say to Sia.

Sia: “Okay then, my house isn’t that far away. Just an hour’s drive. You can sleep, if you want.” She proposed.

Celia: “I would rather stay awake, just in case something bad happens.” I deny.

We did get this far, so I would be upset if we ended up dying, just because I wanted to take a little nap. Though I did get relaxed in my seat. This was a very expensive car, from what I can tell.

Maybe around a hundred grand USD? Who knows. It certainly feels at least that expensive. She said that it would only take an hour, but with the current situation, said hour felt way longer than that.

We did eventually make it to what I assume is her house. She drove up to her driveway and punched in a code for the gate. With luck, there won’t be anything bad at her house…
