Chapter 60: Magic Class.

*Celia’s POV*

Unlike combat class, the magic class took place indoors. Which is good, because I think that it is currently summer, and it is boiling out today. The teacher for today’s class was someone that I knew. Lia and I were already sitting down on one of the many long chairs within the classroom.

Once she entered the room, Hadi walked over to me straight away. She looked happy to see me, and she also looked just as beautiful as before. Having a hot teacher, will either be really good for your grades, or really bad for your grades…

Hadi: “Lady Celia! Thank you so much for letting me borrow one of Amelie’s books.” She said with a happy tone, before handing me the book back, which I just put back into my pouch.

Celia: “No problem. Um… did you actually enjoy reading it? Amelie rambled quite a lot in that book...” I say with a curious tone.

Hadi: “I found her rambling to be somewhat interesting, but the actual information in the book, was very helpful to me with how well I can use magic.” She answered.

Celia: “I am glad to hear it, though, if you can keep a secret, I do have something more interesting to show you.” I say with a whisper.

Lia: “Celia? You aren’t talking about... that, right?” She asked with a raised eyebrow.

Hadi: “What are you two talking about?” She said with a head tilt.

Actually, I don’t even know if I should tell Hadi about those new Mana Crystals… We haven’t really known each other long at all… Ria, my beautiful Goddess that can help me cheat with difficult subjects, should I trust Hadi? Oddly, your personal maid or butler, just waits inside the room with you. I guess it’s something that the academy had to allow, otherwise, the nobles would get uppity?

Ria: “Calling me a beautiful Goddess… That surely won you some points with me. Regardless, Hadi is a young Goddess, getting in her good graces would be wise.” She answered in my head.

What the fuck!? Why the heck is a Goddess playing school teacher!? Well, Ria is playing maid, so maybe it’s just because she wants to, at the end of the day…

Celia: “Lia, it will be fine. Hadi is someone that we can trust.” I say with a confident tone.

Lia: “If you say so…” She said with a sigh.

Hadi: “I have to start class soon, could you two please explain to me what you’re talking about?” She asked.

Celia: “Do you know where my residence here in the academy is?” I ask.

Hadi: “As you’re a priority student, yes.” She answered with a nod.

Priority student? What the heck does that mean? Is it because I killed that teacher, or was it because I am Amelie’s student? Eh, it’s more fun not knowing the actual answer.

Celia: “Then, once classes finish for the day, please visit me. I have something amazing to show you.” I say with a proud tone.

Hadi: “Amazing, huh? Well, it better be, if not, then I will request another book written by Amelie.” She said with a giggle, before walking back to the front of the class.

Thus, Hadi started the class a few seconds later. She said that she oversaw the fire magic part of magic class, but what she is teaching right now, is just the basics. Luckily, there was very important information in this session.

If I didn’t learn about it, I would have probably got myself killed, or at least, very injured. Basically, for a minimum of a month, you must get used to your Mana. If you don’t, and just try to use a spell, the mana within you, would just explode. Taking out you, and anyone near you, in the explosion.

Depending on how much Mana you have, will determine how big of an explosion would be caused. With every element of mana swirling around in me, I’d probably end up taking this entire academy along with me… Speaking of which, I didn’t see an MP Stat within my Status…

Ruina: “Sorry about that, you see, most Systems are just patchwork. So, I hadn’t added that to your Status yet.” She said in my head.

Celia: “So, I don’t have any MP yet?” I ask.

Ruina: “You do, it’s just not shown. There, it should show up now. To save you the time, you have 500 out of 500 MP at the moment.” She replied.

Huh? Isn’t that pretty high? Hm… I kinda want to peep at Lia’s Status… But she will probably figure out that I can use a System… Eh, like a cat, my curiosity is just too much to ignore. I’ll tell her about it later. After Hadi’s class, Lia and I went to the cafeteria.

We still had a short magic class after lunch, and I was interested in what the cafeteria would look like, and apparently, so did Lia. As such, we both agreed to at least dine in it at least once.

Once inside, I was upset. As it looked like a normal modern day cafeteria. Albeit, a fantasy-like one. Fucking reincarnaters! Changing a world based on your memories of a modern time!

Why didn’t they do something useful with their knowledge? Like, you know, make firearms!? Or maybe a nuclear weapons, and nuclear power? Whatever… Lia and I got some food, which looked to be of high quality, and sat down in the nobles section of the cafeteria. Lia got some nice looking soup and bread, while I got some kind of rice and chicken.

Taking a bite, it tastes amazing! And oddly, just like the food that we eat at home… Ria?… Did your underlings infiltrate this academy?… Surely not, right?…

Ria: “I wouldn’t let bad tasting food touch your lips, dear. Most of the staff, besides the teachers, are all under me.” She replied in my head.

It can’t be… are you the real reason why Amelie is so feared in this kingdom?… No reply… just an evil smile on her face… What kind of crimes did she commit in Amelie’s name?… Though, Lia didn’t seem to notice how similar the food was.

I decided to just let sleeping dogs lie, and I continued to eat in silence. Lia and I did chat about a few things while eating, though, nothing that important. Right as we were halfway through our meal, a random girl approached us.

Rather than just approach us, she sat down right next to me. Girl… haven’t you ever heard of personal space? Right as I turned to look at, and then scold her, I saw what she looked like… She was absolutely beautiful! All transgression shall be forgiven! Lia? What? Don’t give me that kind of glare… We aren’t even dating for real…
