Celia: After Dying in the Apocalypse, I Live Once Again!

Chapter 52: Stupid Mouth!

Hello! This is my latest novel! Unlike my other novels, this one isn't finished yet. The first volume is finished, though. And you can buy it on Amazon here. If you would be so kind, you can also get the first volume(and anything else I've made.) on my Patreon for donating $10 or over that, here. If you wish for updates, the $10 and over tiers will give you access to chapters when I actually finish them. (Maybe one a day? Idk, as I will be mainly working on other novels as well. But, there will at least be one new chapter every few days.)

Chapter 52: Stupid Mouth!

*Lia’s POV*

Kicking my mind into overdrive, I quickly came up with an excuse for why I asked to be her girlfriend. It was just unfortunate that my excuse ended up upsetting Celia. And who wouldn’t be upset by what I said? I mean, I would have been upset as well if someone said that to me.

With my blunder, Celia was clearly not going to agree with us being fake lovers. I needed to solve this problem; otherwise, we’ll never be together… Begging her, saying that I could prove useful to her, ended up working. This was not how I wanted our relationship to start, but it was a start at the very least…

Like my brain just decided to not work at all today, I ended up holding her arm, just like lovers do. Did my brain somehow think that we actually ended up getting together? Regardless of why, Celia was upset by what I did. Of course, I understood her reaction to this as well.

And I’ve always prided myself on being very intelligent… I guess what they say is true, when you’re in love, you do very stupid things…

Voice: “Foolish girl! You should just kidnap her, drug her, and then force her to love you!” She said with a loud haughty tone.

Lia: “Shut up!” I yell in my head.

Frankly, I am surprised that Celia hasn’t mentioned anything about my eyes. Different colored eyes are very rare, and are usually seen as a bad omen. Before you ask, I do not have a split personality, just an annoying demon living in my soul.

Luckily, she has no control over me at all, and just exists to annoy me. Getting rid of her, would greatly affect my health, and might even kill me. So even though my mother is aware of her, we didn’t try to remove her from me.

Other than her being annoying, she does make me stronger. Ah, her name is Yooni, if you’re wondering. Not a very scary sounding name, for someone who says such scary things all of the time…

Yooni: “You little brat! You do know that I can hear EVERYTHING that goes on in your head, right?” She yelled.

Lia: “Yes. If you’re going to annoy me, then I shall annoy you as well.” I say with a smug tone in my head.

Blocking out the yelling voice inside my head, I followed Celia to our first class. The teacher for this session picked a fight with Celia. Celia… she is so pretty that the idea of her being able to fight, never crossed my mind until now.

The teacher was handily beaten by Celia, but he did not give up at all. Loss after loss, he got more and more erratic. Ending up with him holding a female student hostage. His demands were ludicrous, and Celia had no plans to agree with them.

While he was distracted by her, I shot an ice spear at the man, so that he would let go of the girl. Which he did do, but then Celia rushed up to him, and quickly killed him without batting an eye.

Frankly, I should be upset and scold her. But I just felt like what she did was right, and that she looked amazing while doing it. I never thought that I would ever think seeing someone be killed, would be something beautiful…

Luckily, the teacher was a drug addict, so we were cleared of all charges. I didn’t actually care about that teacher, since he attacked first, but I was more worried about our, or rather, Celia’s reputation. But with that statement, everything should work out.

A little bit later after we left that office, Celia had an odd suggestion. I had actually thought that she was trying to bed me in a really roundabout way, but it ended up being an ACTUAL dungeon…

Yooni: “Haha! Silly perverted girl! I bet that she thinks that you’re a pervert now as well!” She gloated.

I ignored her, and agreed with Celia’s idea. Once inside her dungeon, I was beyond shocked. There was nothing that could have prepared me for such a thing…

Mana Crystals, in every element, as far as I could see… And, even at a distance, I could tell that they were purer than anything you could buy on the market… Granted, they would still go for a price that I, and other rich people could buy, but the problem was that Mana Crystals of this quality simply were not on the market at all…

Once I saw those logs of expensive wood, I felt as if I couldn’t be surprised anymore by Celia. But I was wrong, as she showed me a workforce of Goblins. I had assumed that she didn’t trust me enough to admit to using slave labor, and just played it off saying that she was using Goblins as a workforce. But she was actually telling the truth…

It goes without saying that I pretty much blocked out all of my memories of that place. The nail in the coffin, was when she shoved thousands of Mana Crystals, and lumber, into a small pouch. Sure, I know of pouches like that, but they were extremely expensive. That alone made me feel like I had actually died, and that this was all a dream created by my dying mind…

Celia’s maid shocking us, didn’t help either. My original feeling of her was correct, she wasn’t just a normal maid. She might not have even been a human, or any other simple humanoid race…

Blocking out more of my memories, I arrived at a restaurant with Celia. I felt like we were on a date, but I couldn’t express that to her. Considering that we’re supposed to be fake dating…

The food was priced like crazy… Even my mother would have had second thoughts about spending this much Celestium on just one meal. Maybe you could justify it if you were going on a date, but as just a casual meal? Not at all.

I tried to argue this with Celia, as she was the type that would pay for the other’s meals, but she said that the food here for her, and I would be free. Ria confirmed this, so I couldn’t say anything else about it.

Once the food arrived, with just the smell, I could tell that it was worth every Celestium that they ask for… It tasted even better too!

Yooni: “You need to come here more often. The food is the best I have ever tasted!” She said with a happy tone.

Lia: “Be quiet and let me enjoy my meal.” I say with a stern tone.

Yooni: “Sure, sure, just keep eating, sunshine, and I will obey happily!” She said with a bright tone.

Ignoring Yooni, I had brought up a conversation about starting a business for Celia. Selling off that lumber in secret would be easy, but we would have to start up a business for the Mana Crystals. I came clean and told her that it would take way more time than just a week to set it up. She luckily didn’t mind at all.

That was when she dropped a bombshell onto me… She was almost three years younger than me, as I am almost 19 years old… I thought that she was at least over the age of twenty…

Not because she looked like that age, but because of how well put together, and mature that she is. I can’t believe that I not only lusted after a younger girl, but I still do, and that I have no plans to stop doing so…

Yooni: “Think of it this way, sunshine, she is most likely a virgin. Easy pickings, as long as you listen to my advice.” She said with a serious tone.

Lia: “Why do you even care!?” I yell in my head.

Yooni: “I can feel and taste everything that you do, sunshine. This Celia girl is quite the cutie, so I would love to experience bedding her.” She said with a sultry tone.

Trying my best to ignore her stupid words, I was then lost completely in thought. I need to solve this problem that I’ve caused. I’ve said this before, but this is even more important now. Celia doesn’t seem to have been with anyone, so I still have a chance.

That is, at least until we end this fake dating agreement… After that, anyone, maybe even a man, could gain her attention. She is certainly one that would cause others to look her way…
