Chapter 13: Konig x Y/N
The sun was beginning to set over the quiet suburban neighborhood as Konig pulled into the driveway after a long day at work. He loved his family dearly—his wife, Y/N, their sixteen-year-old son Jackson, thirteen-year-old daughter Mia, and the energetic five-year-old twins, Leo and Lily. The house was always filled with laughter and chaos, but today, it appeared unusually quiet.
As he stepped into the familiar warmth of the home, the absence of the usual sounds prompted a curious glance around. Y/N was out picking up groceries, and Mia was at a friend's house. The twins were likely napping, leaving the house tranquil. Little did Konig know, this peace would soon be shattered.
Meanwhile, Jackson had decided today was the perfect day for a little privacy—he believed his parents were out. With a twinkle in his eye and his heart racing with excitement, he invited Alice, Gaz's daughter and his girlfriend, into his room.
"Do you think your parents will be back soon?" Alice asked, her voice a blend of nervousness and excitement as they settled onto Jackson's bed, adorned with fairy lights and soft pillows. He brushed a strand of her hair behind her ear.
"I think we're good for a while," Jackson replied confidently, leaning in for a kiss. They melted into each other, the world outside fading away. The gentle kisses quickly evolved into something deeper, as they explored the very edges of their teenage curiosity.
Time melted away as they giggled and whispered sweet nothings. The air was thick with anticipation and innocence as they navigated their first true intimate experience together, a blend of awkwardness and exhilaration. But as they lay wrapped in each other's arms, sleep overtook them, leaving them blissfully unaware of time passing.
Just minutes later, Konig opened the door, intending to check on Jackson and perhaps get a sense of what his son might want for dinner. He took a step inside, ready to engage in the usual father-son banter, but the sight that greeted him was anything but.
Underneath the blanket, he saw Jackson and Alice, clearly undressed and tangled together in a moment of post-innocent intimacy. Shock coursed through him, frying his brain as he stood frozen at the doorway.
"Jackson!" he exploded, a mixture of disbelief and concern in his voice. The noise jolted the two awake, and as reality seeped back in, horror washed over their faces.
"Dad! It's not what it looks like!" Jackson stammered, hastily pulling the blanket up to cover them. Alice, looking mortified, scrambled to find her clothes.
"I-I should go," she whispered, her cheeks flushed crimson as she gathered her things and slipped out the door, avoiding Konig's gaze.
"Not so fast, young man," Konig snapped, his tone serious as he shut the door firmly behind Alice, blocking any chance for distraction. "We need to talk."
Realizing the gravity of the situation, Jackson sat up, his heart racing. "Dad, I can explain…"
"There's nothing to explain, Jackson!" Konig interrupted, pacing back and forth as he struggled to reign in his emotions. "What were you thinking? You're only sixteen! This isn't how you handle these things."
Jackson's mind swirled, struggling to find words. "I—I love her, Dad. We wanted to share something special together!"
"There's nothing wrong with love, but there are right and wrong times for everything," Konig replied, his voice calming but stern. "You need to think about the consequences of your actions—emotionally, physically, and ethically."
"But you don't understand!" Jackson argued, frustration creeping into his voice. "Everyone my age is doing this! It's not a big deal!"
"It is a big deal! You're not just a child anymore, but you're not an adult yet either," Konig said, his heart aching for the confusion swirling in his son's young mind. "You have responsibilities, and you have to be prepared for the ripple effects of your choices. What if this relationship doesn't work out? What if something happens, and you aren't ready for it?"
Jackson fell silent, the weight of his father's words sinking in. His mind raced back through all the moments leading up to that evening, how innocent and naive they had been, how quickly everything escalated.
"I just wanted to be with her…" he finally murmured, his bravado crumbling as he realized the seriousness of the situation.
"And that's perfectly normal," Konig replied, softening his tone just enough to let Jackson know he still cared. "But intimacy isn't just about the moment—it's about trust, respect, and knowing yourself and your partner well enough to navigate it safely. You need to talk to me before making big decisions—not after."
Jackson nodded slowly, understanding dawning on him. "I'm sorry, Dad."
Konig placed a firm hand on his shoulder. "I'm not angry with you. I just want to make sure you learn from this. I love you, son. No matter what, you can always come to me."
As they sat in the quiet of the room, father and son sharing a moment of mutual understanding, the day's events became a lesson for both. A pivotal moment in Jackson's life, and a reminder for Konig of the delicate balance between guidance and trust as they navigated this new stage together.
