chapter 36
6. Truce
Kyunghee couldn’t control her body well.
It was only natural that he didn’t rest properly, didn’t eat any food, and was exhausted.
I thought about feeding first, but Kyung-hee didn’t try to separate from me at all.
Obviously, I couldn’t use my strength properly now, but I couldn’t get rid of Kyunghee.
So, for the time being, I stayed still so that Kyunghee could hug her as much as she wanted.
Kyunghee hugged me silently for a while and rubbed her cheek against my chest.
Then I started to cry.
He seemed to be saying that he was wrong, but his pronunciation was muffled and he couldn’t hear it perfectly.
And the eyes started to glow. Kyung-hee started to hug me to the point where it hurt.
Funny enough, it made me feel like I was being held by a ghost.
Scattered hair, red eyes. It was a typical appearance of a ghost that I had seen somewhere.
It didn’t matter though. Since it was a temporary truce for the time being, I was willing to accept this kind of expression of affection.
So while Kyunghee held me, she stroked my hair.
Kyung-hee stayed like that for a while, then said she wanted to wash up as if she was embarrassed.
Originally, he had to move himself, but it seemed like he couldn’t move because he liked it so much that his legs lost strength.
I don’t know if it’s a lie or not, but I lifted Kyunghee up first.
And went into the bathroom. Kyunghee said thank you and carefully closed the door.
I thought this was the end, but after a few minutes, Kyung-hee stuck out his head.
“My hands are shaking, but can I get some water on them?”
“yes.”
“……Ah, thank you…”
“The psychiatric department said it could be improved, so it’s a truce for the time being.”
“…………………yes.”
Kyunghee nodded her head sadly.
Maybe it was because he read that what I said was true, he seemed even more sullen.
To be honest, I still can’t forgive Kyunghee.
Wouldn’t it be better if he told the truth about how he had deceived me so far?
If he tried to trick me like he did now, he would continue to treat me as an invisible person.
I don’t know if I can continue to treat myself invisible.
Water heated to the temperature Kyung-hee likes spurted out of the shower head.
The temperature is neither lukewarm nor hot.
Seeing that I remember these things in detail, it was bittersweet to know what position Kyung-hee was in for me.
However, he didn’t show it and sprayed water all over Kyunghee’s body.
Kyeong-hee was bathed in water for a while while sitting on the railing of the bathtub.
Then, as if thinking it was done, Kyunghee turned off the faucet.
“thanks.”
“Should we eat? Kyung-hee, you didn’t eat anything.”
“I have no appetite.”
“You need to take medicine. I’ll heat it up, so eat it.”
“Si, Siwoo, are you?”
“I ate outside. And I told you the other day, Kyunghee. I’ll make it myself for the time being.”
“Ah, that’s right… Huh… T-would you like to leave?”
“Okay.”
When I closed the door and went out, I heard the sound of water.
And through the sound of the water, I heard Kyung-hee crying.
It was self-employed. It was Kyunghee who put blood in food and fed me.
Also, it is Kyung-hee who evades the truth rather than telling the truth.
So for the time being, I had no intention of eating Kyunghee’s food.

Just as Kyunghee protested against me with the ingredients she bought, I protested because I didn’t eat.
I don’t know how I ended up fighting over something so trivial.
In my mind, I wanted to go back to the old days.
The time when I didn’t care about the government or anything like that, and I had fun making memories with Kyung-hee.
Those young days were really good.
They were happy, laughing and chatting just by holding hands.
Looking back, there was evidence even then.
There were a lot of things I ignored, thinking it might be an overreaction.
But now I had no intention of ignoring it.
In the future, he planned to continue to pursue Kyung-hee and fight for his spirit.
Even if Kyung-hee’s dependence or pathological love is not cured, he can accept it.
But since I hate it, I wanted to teach them not to do that.
It was possible when I saw Kyung-hee, who sincerely said she wanted to kill my female acquaintances, hurting herself because I was sad.
Of course, for the time being, I wanted to pin my hopes on a psychiatrist.
Interrogating and arguing is enough as a last resort.
“Kyung-hee, the food is all warmed up.”
“Yes………”
After changing clothes in the room, Kyung Hee came out with a towel wrapped around her hair.
Then, looking at me, I started drying my hair.
I was in a good mood and seemed worried about what my swelling head would mean to me.
No matter how perfect the acting was, it was worth it as long as the ears and hair couldn’t be hidden.
Fortunately, I didn’t think much of it.
So I just wiped half of her hair with a towel and helped her dry it.
As soon as my hair was completely dry, Kyunghee hugged me carefully.
The pretend hug soon became a hug.
The hug soon turned into an intense hug.
Kyunghee held me for a while and shed tears.
Then I saw my ears go down, in case I was offended.
It’s okay, but when I told him to eat before the rice cooled down, I saw his ears go up again.
I was looking at my ears because it seemed like it had been a long time, but my ears went down again.
“Oooh…”
“No. It’s okay.”
“Yes, really?”
Soon after, Kyung-hee, whose ears soared to the sky, began to eat deliciously.
Squeezing food all over his cheeks and munching like a rodent.
Kyung-hee’s unique way of eating seemed like a long time ago.
Kyung-hee ate like that for a while, then spoke cautiously.
“You want to go with the spirit?”
“yes.”
“…………….uh.”
“Why not?”
“No, it’s not that I can’t…”
Kyunghee’s eyes shook anxiously.
And I could tell from the point of view of Kyung-hee.
oh boy You told the psychiatrist some of the lies you lied to me.
As if I was right, Kyung-hee started waiting for another reason and tried to change the topic.
But it was of no use to me.
slowly. Again and again. In the opinion written by the psychiatrist, there was a story about whether or not to be treated.
That’s why I’m going to stop treating you as an invisible person and go with you.
He emphasized each and every word to Kyunghee.
Of course, I could see that Kyung-hee, who was eating, became sullen.
When this happened, he even appeared to be praying.
Please, it seemed like I was expecting the psychiatrist not to tell me any secrets.
However, I intended to at least know about Kyung-hee’s family relationships and things like that.
What happened to you in the past and what habits did you develop as a result.
Since he was a psychiatrist who was directly connected to Kyung-hee by the government, it seemed that he had already recorded it.
I was ready because I had just gone out.
I’ll wash the dishes for Kyunghee, so I told her to get dressed and put the empty dishes in the sink.
Kyung-hee vomited her worries the whole time she got dressed.
Then, perhaps realizing that he was not in a position to say such a thing, he clung to me after washing the dishes.
Then, before being treated as invisible again, he hugged his arm as if he would show as much affection as he could.
“It’s Kyunghee.”
“……….yes?”
“You know each other anyway, right? You and I can’t abandon each other.”
“……………yes.”
“I just hate that you demand dependence and pathological love. Everything else is fine.”
“……………..”
“The way his ears go up and down depending on his mood is cute, and he’s cute when he eats like a hamster.”
“yes……..”
“But if you don’t try to cure your dependency and keep lying to me, I’ll keep treating you as invisible.”
“Bur, promise me that you won’t throw me away…”
“……………..”
Kyunghee looked at me with anxious eyes.
While forcing a smile, Kyunghee emphasized again. Promise me that you won’t give up.
But he didn’t respond to that answer.
If the. Even if it was because I was afraid that I would lose my affection after hearing the truth.
I didn’t want to hurt Kyung-hee even more by making a hasty promise.
I could imagine Kyeong-hee’s teary-eyed face saying, “Didn’t you promise not to throw it away?”
So he responded with silence, and Kyunghee cried.
He let go of his head and started crying, so I had no choice but to comfort him for a while.
He wiped away his tears and handed him a tissue to blow his nose.
Even then, it wasn’t enough, so I hugged him tightly and patted him on the back.
Only then did Kyunghee calm down.
But the uneasy trembling eyes were still there.
It was worth it.

Just because he’s a psychiatrist, he probably doesn’t know everything that Kyung-hee cheated on me.
But I know a lot of things I don’t know.
And Kyung-hee is afraid of the shock I will receive when I find out.
So it seemed that he was deliberately trying to divert his attention somehow.
I could tell just by looking at her intentionally wearing a mini skirt and a sweatshirt.
It seemed like he was trying to remember the memories with the clothes he had when he went to Moran Island the other day.
I was saddened because I felt like I was clinging to it with all my might, asking not to throw it away.
“Come here.”
“yes?”
“Okay. All right. I put my clothes around my waist, so it won’t be cold or anything like that.”
“yes…….”
“By the way, where is the psychiatrist?”
“Ah, ah… that, that’s it…”
Kyunghee evaded her words as if she had seized her chance.
But when I glared at him, Kyunghee immediately spewed out the truth.
He said that the tea would be provided if he contacted the men, that is, the NIS agents.
So, there is no need to take a taxi or bus. Kyung-hee forced a smile at me.
Kyung-hee acted like an animal being led to a slaughterhouse the entire time she got into the car the agents had brought her.
In the end, realizing that she couldn’t stop me, Kyung-hee whispered from the back seat.
“Please don’t throw it away… please…”
I didn’t answer.
