Xiao Yu approached Mo Yu, her long legs gleaming attractively under the sunlight, a faintly resentful look on her face. 

As Mo Yu's fiancée, she didn't want to be just a woman standing behind her man. Ever since he had given her cultivation techniques and dou techniques, she had been training hard to improve herself.

"Don't worry, Boss! We won't let any Storm Wolf lay a claw on our Moon Spirit sisters!" 

The Mo Gang members thumped their chests with determination, echoing their promises loudly. 

Seeing this, Mo Yu couldn't help but roll his eyes. Their enthusiasm was even greater than when he had distributed weapons to them. 

With spirits high, the Mo Gang, Pan Gate, and Moon Spirit forces quickly assembled, exuding a formidable aura in the square.

In the dense mountains, lush greenery stretched as far as the eye could see, like an endless ocean of green. Standing amidst it, the sight of colossal waves of trees swaying with the wind was awe-inspiring. 

Suddenly, the sound of something cutting through the air could be heard. A figure streaked through the sky from the distance, his wings vibrating slightly as he hovered in mid-air. After scanning the surroundings, he heard fierce roars of high-ranking magical beasts from the eastern side of the forest, causing him to frown and point westward with his right hand. 

Following his signal, a tall, slender member of the Mo Gang nodded and relayed the correct route to the main group as instructed. 

Seeing this, Mo Yu breathed a sigh of relief. The Inner Academy's wilderness truly lived up to its reputation as a place that even the elders avoided. The high-ranking magical beasts here were indeed numerous. 

Within just half a day of venturing into the deep mountains, Mo Yu had already sensed two sixth-rank magical beasts' presences and five or six fifth-rank ones. 

Fortunately, Mo Yu's soul power was now exceptionally strong, allowing him to detect these powerful magical beasts from a distance and evade them in advance. 

Otherwise, if they accidentally trespassed into the territory of a formidable beast, even if the three factions managed to escape, they'd likely suffer heavy losses.

Since they were all geniuses gathered at Jia Nan Academy, even if this was their first collaboration, the three factions managed to maintain basic coordination. A simple exchange of glances could communicate signals of danger or safety to one another. 

"Boss, you're here!" 

As the group walked in silence, someone glanced up and, seeing the silver figure in the sky, called out in excitement. 

"Mm, stay vigilant and be careful," Mo Yu replied, patting the Mo Gang member on the shoulder before retracting his Purple Cloud Wings with a slight smile. 

"Yes, Boss!" the Mo Gang member responded enthusiastically. 

After giving some words of encouragement to his subordinates, Mo Yu made his way to the center of the group. Looking at Xiao Yan, who wore a serious expression, he asked, "Cousin Xiao Yan, how are the injured doing?" 

Before the group entered the deep mountains, things were relatively calm. However, not long after venturing into the depths, a small-scale magical beast attack demonstrated the dangers lurking within. 

The attackers were several third-tier magical beasts called Red Fire Centipedes. These beasts were common in the mountains, fire-attribute creatures with flames carrying toxic poison. If left untreated within an hour, those poisoned would suffer internal burns from the fire poison, leading to death. 

The ten Red Fire Centipedes, concealed in the treetops, struck like lightning, easily injecting their poison into a few students below. Instantly, these strong students fell to the ground, writhing in intense heat. 

Outraged, the group fought back, and within moments, they managed to kill the third-tier beasts. 

Once the centipedes were eliminated, the poisoned students were quickly taken to the back of the group, where Xiao Yan personally expelled the fire poison from their bodies. 

Mo Yu was extremely grateful; though he could have removed the poison himself, he was busy leading the group and guarding against beast attacks. Xiao Yan and the members of Pan Men proved invaluable to Mo Gang, allowing Mo Yu to proceed without worry. 

"There's no need to thank me, Cousin Mo Yu; this is our responsibility," Xiao Yan replied with a lighthearted smile. He and Mo Yu had grown up together, regarding each other as close family. 

Now that Mo Yu needed help, Xiao Yan naturally provided it wholeheartedly. 

Hearing this, Mo Yu's lips curved slightly, saying nothing further. Perhaps the two of them, being both family and confidants, battle companions and rivals, shared an unspoken bond. 

After the Red Fire Centipede attack, the group became much more cautious. However, deep within the beast-infested mountains, avoiding all danger was impossible. 

In less than 500 meters, the group faced three more waves of beast attacks. Fortunately, with the strength of Mo Gang and their Swift Shadow Boots and Guardian Armor, they repelled the attacks, suffering only minor injuries. 

To find the territory of the Storm Wolves, as described by Zi Yan, Mo Yu led the group through the mountains for nearly half a day. 

Luckily, his search wasn't in vain. Around midday, after weaving through the dense forest, they finally reached the place Mo Yu had been looking for. 

This was a gorge flanked by two steep mountains, where the narrowness of the terrain created fierce winds. The further they ventured, the stronger the gusts, especially near the center, where the wind was so intense it nearly tore their clothes off. 

As they arrived, deafening howls filled the air, echoing from the depths of the gorge like thunder. 

"Awooo…" 

"Awooo…" 

"Awooo…" 

"What powerful howls! Are those Storm Wolves? Judging by the sound, there must be at least a dozen!" Lin Yan, standing at the front of the group, commented in surprise. 

"Yes, those are indeed Storm Wolves. The howls are likely from scouts detecting our presence, warning the pack of our approach," Han Yue replied, her face tense. 

"Haha, what's there to fear? With Boss Mo handling the Wolf King, the rest are ours to take care of. I, Old Qian, will lead the charge; you all just follow behind!" Qian Mo laughed heartily, his jiggling fat exaggerating his comical appearance in the strong wind. 

Seeing Qian Mo's antics, Xun'er covered her mouth, giggling. "I wonder how Cousin Mo Yu managed to enlist the help of two top-ten-ranked students." 

"It's not just Lin Yan and Qian Mo. Mo Gang's overall strength is impressive; several of the squad leaders are Dou Ling, and even ordinary members are mostly Da Dou Shi," Xiao Yan said with a hint of melancholy. "Cousin Mo Yu has only been in the Inner Academy for a few months, yet he's built a force several times stronger than the Xiao Clan. Father and Grandpa Mo would be thrilled to know this." 

Seeing his sorrow, Xun'er pressed her lips together but said nothing, merely holding Xiao Yan's hand tightly. 

At the head of the group, Mo Yu was focused on the task ahead. Hearing the howls, his silver eyes sharpened as he looked into the valley's depths. 

In the dark gorge, lights suddenly appeared like lanterns in the distance. At the same time, ominous auras seemed to awaken, descending upon the gorge. 

As these lights approached, massive Storm Wolves with bloody jaws emerged. Mo Yu realized that the lights were nothing more than the cunning glints in the wolves' eyes. 

Seeing the hundreds of Storm Wolves spread across the mountainside, Mo Yu murmured to himself, "So… this is the territory of the Storm Wolves."
