Seeing this, Mo Yu knew the lizard beast was no longer a threat. After gently patting Zi Huo's head and offering a few words of praise, he stored it back into the beast ring. 

Mo Yu then fed Qing Lin a healing pill, and after a moment, the girl slowly regained consciousness. Shaking her groggy head, she looked up at Mo Yu, a blush spreading across her small face. 

Rubbing her temples with delicate fingers, Qing Lin's expression brightened as she spotted the now obedient Rock Serpent Giant Lizard Beast. "Young Master, Qing Lin did it!" she exclaimed happily. 

Mo Yu smiled warmly, patting her head. "Yes, Qing Lin did a great job." 

Hearing Mo Yu's praise, Qing Lin pressed her lips together in a shy smile. She stepped out of Mo Yu's embrace and approached the lizard beast. Now bound by a strange connection, she no longer felt fear in front of the once-terrifying creature. 

With a playful, stern expression, Qing Lin declared, "You were so wild earlier, so from now on, I'll call you Xiao Guai—Little Well-behaved. I hope you'll behave from now on." 

Satisfied with the name she had given it, Qing Lin turned to Mo Yu and said, "Young Master is my master, so he is your master too, Xiao Guai. You must listen to him, understand?" 

The lizard beast glanced reluctantly at Mo Yu, but under the compulsion of their bond, it let out a low growl and lowered its massive head in submission. 

Mo Yu shook his head with a wry smile. With Zi Huo as his primary battle companion, a fourth-tier beast like this was not particularly valuable to him. However, Qing Lin's gesture was heartfelt, so he accepted it. 

Still, the name Qing Lin had chosen for the beast left Mo Yu both amused and exasperated.

As for the Black Lizard Serpent King, it has appeared here before and is the one that ordered Xiao Guai to guard this tunnel. There might be something important inside." 

Mo Yu raised an eyebrow, rubbing his chin thoughtfully. 

Something capable of frightening the Rock Serpent Giant Lizard Beast was likely the Ten Thousand Beasts Flame itself. After all, such flames are the natural nemesis of cold-type magical beasts. 

As for the Black Lizard Serpent King assigning a guardian for the passage, was it to guard the heavenly flame, or could it be protecting something else of significance? 

Mo Yu scratched his head, realizing that acquiring this heavenly flame wouldn't be easy. In the original story, even with Yao Lao's assistance, Xiao Yan had struggled greatly to obtain the Green Lotus Core Flame.

But at least the Black Lizard Serpent King wasn't currently in the tunnel. As for Qing Lin's earlier sensing of its presence, Mo Yu couldn't quite explain that yet. 

"Let's go deeper and take a look," Mo Yu decided after some thought, turning his gaze toward the passage's depths. 

Qing Lin nodded, then instructed the Rock Serpent Giant Lizard Beast to lead the way. 

The tunnel wasn't very long. After about five minutes, the trio reached the end. 

"Is this the place…" Qing Lin murmured as she and Mo Yu reached a spot bathed in a strange red glow. 

The red light suffused the underground chamber, and as Mo Yu focused, he could vaguely discern a sense of the might of myriad beasts emanating from within the crimson light. 

"Red flames…" 

The Ten Thousand Beasts Flame, ranked twenty-second on the list of heavenly flames, was said to resemble countless beasts. It was formed from the souls and bloodlines of innumerable beasts, either emerging from the corpses of countless magical beasts or born from the fiery essence within a beast's body. 

Mo Yu's thoughts raced as he recalled this information, and a look of delight flashed across his face. His body shuddered with excitement, his eyes locked onto the dense, glowing red light not far away. 

"Hiss…" Nearby, Xiao Guai let out a sharp hiss, its enormous eyes filled with dread as they glanced toward the red light. Its large body shivered uncontrollably. 

Ignoring the lizard beast's reaction, Mo Yu licked his lips, turning to Qing Lin with anticipation. "Come on, let's take a closer look." 

Qing Lin nodded obediently, giving Xiao Guai a reassuring pat on the head before heading deeper into the cave. 

As they ventured closer to the red glow, Mo Yu could clearly feel the temperature around them steadily rising. 

Stepping into the cave, Mo Yu quickly scanned his surroundings, and his gaze eventually fixed on the source of the red glow at the center. 

Through the crimson light, Mo Yu saw a massive mountain of bones towering three to four meters high, formed from the skeletal remains of countless magical beasts. Despite being dried and shattered, the bones still exuded a formidable aura. 

These remains were likely from thousands of magical beasts, each at least of the third or fourth rank when alive, with some even reaching the sixth rank.
