BTS And The Death Flame

Chapter 3: Chapter 3. Hogwarts Express, and Seven golden boys.

"Eh.. The Hogwarts Express leaves London at precisely eleven o'clock in the mornin and arrives at Hogsmeade Station sometime after nightfall. The Sorting ceremony takes place in the Great Halland the Hogwarts school year starts!" Since they left the Olivanders and Diagon Aley they've gone straight to King Cross Station, Hagrid was constantly talking, no pauses what so ever and Seo Min couldn't figure out why. Suddenly, she had enough. The girl was determined to stop and talk it out. She found herself in front of the big, beard giant making him stop and look at her small, heart-shaped face. "Hagrid, that's enough! You are rambling some things I don't even understand! What's going on? " Hagrid looked at his big feet and then his eyes met Seo Min's chocolate orbs watching him with determination. "Oh look!" He yells showing somewhere above Seo Min's head, but she stayed put patting her one foot on the ground and closing her hands firmly on her chest. "Oh no, not your tricks again! Spit it out Hagrid!" Before any bickering could start a train siren shrieked riping the silence between them and Hagrid used his chance to bolt out of Seo Min's sight while she was distracted with the shrieking siren.

The moment she turned around Hagrid wasn't there and she patted the top off her head frustrated.

"Great, what now?"

She stared blankly at a big plastic number nine over one platform and a big plastic number ten over the one next to it, and in the middle, nothing at all. She pinched the bridge of her nose nervously still patting in one place, her trolleys were full with her book's and suitcases and her new pet owl, Phoenix.

A hand on her shoulders made her detach from her spot and swung around to see who it is; His hair, dark and lustrous, had a sheen like fine hardwood. But that comparison isn't entirely fair, I suppose. Hardwood doesn't swish gently like his hair does, swaying with the words he speaks. A shiny varnish catches merely light around it, but the depths of that deep chestnut brown reflected all the radiance of his smile.

"You need help? The clock is ticking!" His voice was deep, with a serious tone. Seo Min noticed then six other boys standing behind him with so many different hair colors and that instantly reminded her of a rainbow. There was a pink-haired guy, white hair, blond hair, pink hair with blue strands, and black hair guy.

"Um.. yes?" She blurted out, more like a question then the answer. The guy smiled, his facial features were babyish, big eyes, soft skin, and a button nose. "I'm Kim Seokjin! These are my friends; Jeon Jungkook, Jung Hoseok, Park Jimin, Kim Namjon, Kim Taehyung, and Min Yoongy!" He recited the name of his friends by order from left to right and each of them waved at the Seo Min with curtesy. The boys were all instant smiles. Their energy spilled out just as much as the drinks in their cups and every other noise was their laughter. It was as if fun was printed in their DNA and all it took was a little sunshine and a dash of sugar to bring that out.

"Are you going to go through that wall too?" Her eyes widened a little bit with of hope that she doesn't have to go through that alone. Kim Seokjin nodded nonchalantly with a smile as he nodded to the other guys to come forward.

"We will go first and Jin will stay with you until you go through!" The white-haired guy she knew as Park Jimin said enthusiastically shaking her shoulders. Seo Min was taken aback with their behavior, all of them were so confident and good looking with wide grins spread across their faces.

Jimin explains to her that she must pass through the barrier between platforms nine and ten to make it through, and off he went. His friend Hoseok called after him to hurry up, and he must have done so because a second later, he had gone -- but how had he done it? She watched in awe as the six boys run straight for the wall and it swallows them, she had to rub her eyes to make sure it's not a dream. Jin placed his hand on her back and she looked at him with a sheepish smile.

"Don't worry," he said. "All you have to do is walk straight at the barrier between platforms nine and ten. Don't stop and don't be scared you'll crash into it, that's very important. Best do it at a bit of a run if you're nervous. Go on, I'm right behind you."

"Er.. okay," Said Seo Min, she pushed her cart around and stared at the barrier. It looked very solid. She started to walk toward it. People jostled her on their way to platforms nine and ten. Seo Min walked more quickly. She was going to smash right into that barrier and then she'd be in trouble. Leaning forward on her cart, she broke into a heavy run and the barrier was coming nearer and nearer. She wouldn't be able to stop, the cart was out of control, she was a foot away and she closed her eyes ready for the crash..

It didn't come... she kept on running... she opened her eyes. A scarlet steam engine was waiting next to a platform packed with people. A sign overhead said Hogwarts Express, eleven O'clock. Seo Min looked behind her and saw a wrought-iron archway where the barrier had been, with the words Platform Nine and Three-Quarters on it, she made it.

Smoke from the engine drifted over the heads of the chattering crowd, while cats of every color wound here and there between their legs. Owls hooted to one another in a disgruntled sort of way over the babble and the scraping of heavy trunks. The first few carriages were already packed with students, some hanging out of the window to talk to their families, some fighting over seats. Seo Min pushed her cart off down the platform in search of an empty seat. She passed a round-faced boy who stopped her in her walking, "Nice job, um.."

"Oh, it's Seo Min! I just remembered I didn't tell you, boys, my name, you are Jungkook right?" he heard the short, chocolate brown hair girl he meet on the platform sigh. A boy with the dark brown hair beamed while they were surrounded by a small crowd. "I'll see you around, Seo Min, go on." The boy lifted the lid of a box in his arms, and the people around him shrieked and yelled as something inside poked out a long, hairy leg. Seo Min giggled at the reaction coming from the girls on the platform when they took a peek at Jungkook's pet, Tarantula. Seo Min pressed on through the crowd until she found an empty compartment near the end of the train. She put Phoenix inside first and then started to shove and heave her trunk toward the train door. She tried to lift it up the steps but could hardly raise one end and twice she dropped it painfully on her foot. "Want a hand?" It was one of the pink-haired boys named Kim Namjoon she followed through the barrier.

"Yes, please," Seo Min panted.

"Hey, Jin! Come here and help!"

With the two boys' help, Seo Min's trunk was at last tucked away in a corner of the compartment. "Thanks," Seo Min blurted out, pushing her sweaty hair out of her eyes.

"What's that?" said one of the boys suddenly, pointing at Seo Min's wand tucked in her inside pocket. "That's not," said Jin. "Is it?" Asked Namjoon with a blank look plastered across his face. Seo Min's eyes frantically darted from one boy to another, confused beyond everything.

She keeps asking herself what's the big deal with that thing. "Oh my Goodness, it is!" said Jin clearly both frightened and confused. "Is it not?" he added to Seo Min.

"What?" she answered. "The Elderly Wand!" chorused the boys.
