Amidst the whirl of the party, Ember's attempts to capture Das's attention with her seductive words seemed to fall on deaf ears. Das remained absorbed in his own thoughts, his detachment palpable as he refilled his wine glass and left her words hanging in the air.

Leaving the conversation behind, he embarked on a purposeful walk through the crowd, heading straight for Sana. Though she appeared occupied, the undercurrent of worry on her face was evident to his discerning gaze. As he neared her, Das maintained a casual demeanour, making it seem like a simple interaction.

Passing her a wine glass, he addressed her with a nod.

"Young master," Sana began, her voice a blend of formality and restraint."

However, her actions spoke louder than her words. Das's keen observation caught the slight tremor in her hands as she accepted the glass, her façade of normalcy wavering.

In a moment that belied the party's revelry, Das's gaze remained unwavering as he probed. "What happened?" he inquired, his voice now carrying a weight of concern that matched the seriousness in his eyes.

Sana's reply was hurried, almost abrupt. "Nooo, master, everything is alright."

The contradiction between her words and demeanour did not escape Das's attention. He could sense the tension emanating from her, an unease that transcended the pretence of normalcy. In that fleeting exchange, amidst the rhythm of the music and the laughter of the party, a thread of intrigue was woven, hinting at a mystery that demanded his attention.

Das's tone carried an unwavering firmness as he addressed Sana's attempt at concealing the truth. "When did you learn to speak lies?" His words, coupled with his resolute gaze, left no room for evasion. Sana's own attempt at duplicity crumbled under the weight of his crimson-red stare, his seriousness penetrating through her defences.

As Das's stern words pierced the air, Sana felt the weight of her deceit unravelling. His insistence, accompanied by the intensity of his crimson-red gaze, left her defences crumbling. The façade she had tried to maintain dissolved under his penetrating stare, and the truth was left starkly exposed.

Her attempt at apology couldn't soften the gravity of the situation. "I'm really sorry," she confessed, her voice tinged with a mixture of guilt and desperation. "I didn't want to disrupt the party, especially with all these girls here for you. I thought I could handle this on my own, but I've failed terribly."

Das's resolve remained unshaken. "Tell me what happened," he demanded, his expression unyielding as he sought to uncover the truth.

Sana's voice, laced with vulnerability, finally shared the depths of her worry. "Master, my brother is missing since this afternoon. We have no clue about his whereabouts. We've utilised all our resources, yet we've found no trace of him. Even the CCTV feed from his last known location has been tampered with. We've exhausted every avenue in our search."

The veneer of casualness that Sana had worn during the party's unfolding now lay shattered, revealing the true weight of her concern. Her admission hung in the air, a poignant reminder that amidst the festivities and celebrations, shadows of uncertainty could cast their reach even over the most vibrant of moments.

Sana's explanation hung in the air, each word laden with worry and urgency. Das's demeanor shifted, the festive atmosphere now tinged with an undercurrent of gravity. While he held considerable influence over the city, the intrusion of two potent forces was a threat that could not be ignored.

The Aries family, particularly, was unlikely to remain passive, especially given their lack of established control within the city's infrastructure.

Listening intently, Das absorbed the details that Sana shared – the circumstances of her brother's disappearance, their exhaustive search efforts, and the inexplicable tampering of CCTV footage. The puzzle pieces of this intricate web of events began to align with his growing suspicions about the involvement of the new forces in the city's dynamics.

With a seriousness etched onto his features, Das addressed Sana directly. "Don't worry, Sana. I'll find your brother. Go and take care of your family," his tone reassuring and unwavering. He turned, his departure quiet and unobtrusive, his purpose clear.

As he left the gathering behind, a determined air surrounded him. His path led him out of the party, where he made his way to the dance floor. In the midst of the revelry, he gently intercepted Princess Serena, who was dancing with Geetha and Latha.

His actions were swift, he directly dragged her outside, without disturbing anyone. Ruth who sat at one end already saw Das leaving hurriedly. Even though Stella also saw this scene, she ignore it.

Princess Serena who is being dragger, thought Das is taking her out for some other reason.

Emerging from the palace, Das's attention was immediately captured by the pressing issue at hand. Without any preamble, he dialled a number on his mobile, his tone firm and direct. The response from the other end was a sweet, elegant female voice, and he cut right to the chase.

"Did any of your forces abduct a man today?"

The voice on the other side held surprise and denial, "What? Nooo... Why would we abduct anyone? And even if we did, how does it concern you?" Princess Amara, a pivotal ally in Das's rise to power over Mumbai, responded inquisitively.

"What I'm asking is connected to me. So, tell me, did your forces abduct any men today?" Das pressed on, a hint of impatience colouring his tone.

After ten seconds of deep silence, Amara started speaking.

Amara's reply carried a tinge of seriousness. "Nooo... What's going on? Why are you asking this?"

However, Das disconnected the call without providing an explanation. His focus was drawn back to the present predicament. While initially Das thought the Farus family would have done to black mail him and know the information of Viper. But he trusted Amara's words. as she values her promises.

In the midst of uncertainty and complexity, Das found himself at a crossroads, in his mind, there is only one suspect now.

"The Aries family."
