Broken Phantom

Chapter 19: Chapter 19

-???-

The Ghost Zone's eerie, phosphorescent glow seeped through the jagged, towering windows of Phantom's throne room, casting long, wavering shadows that danced like restless spirits across the cold, polished obsidian floor. The air was thick with an unnatural stillness, broken only by the faint hum of ectoplasmic energy that seemed to pulse in time with the ruler's heartbeat. They stood before the throne, Form was anything but formal—their posture relaxed, hands tucked casually into the pockets of their hooded cloak. They tilted their head, a smirk playing on their lips as they regarded Danny with the ease of someone who had known him forever.

"Took you long enough to call me in," the figure said, their voice light, almost teasing. "I was starting to think you'd forgotten about little old me."

Danny Phantom sat rigidly on his throne, one hand gripping the armrest, the other crackling with volatile energy. His eyes, sharp and calculating, flicked up to meet him. "You know I don't forget," he said dryly, though there was a faint hint of amusement in his tone. "Especially not with what I asked you to do."

The figure chuckled, pulling their hands from their pockets and gesturing dramatically. "Flattery will get you everywhere, Your Spookiness." the word is drawn out a little dramatically. "But yeah, I found it. The whole shebang. Everything the GIW's ever done, from their coffee orders to their secret backers. It's all here."

Danny's lips twitched, almost a smile, as he leaned forward. "Show me."

They knelt, placing a small, unassuming device on the floor. With a flick of their wrist, it activated, and a pulse of energy shot through the room. The air was filled with glowing holograms—endless streams of data, blueprints, financial records, and encrypted files. The sheer volume of information was staggering, a testament to the GIW's reach and corruption. Danny's eyes scanned the data rapidly, his expression shifting from curiosity to grim satisfaction.

"This is it," he murmured, his voice low but intense. "Everything they've tried to hide. Everything they've built. And now it's mine."

The figure leaned back on their heels, grinning. "Told you I'd come through. So, what's the plan, boss? Gonna burn it all down?"

Danny's gaze darkened, a flicker of something dangerous passing through his eyes. "Oh, I'm going to do more than that. They're going to wish they'd never existed".

"I'm going to wipe every chance of a happy ending they would even have thought they had".

They watched as Danny stood from the throne as he slowly approached the device.

"They have crossed every line imaginable, and now they wouldn't have any place to hide anymore".

His Form cracked somewhat as if his skin was breaking apart. They could see the white glow of power trying to escape his body, the endless Void that threatened to consume everything in its path.

And Just as Everything was Expanding out, it was immediately sucked back in.

"Thank you again for this" Now Danny's voice was soft

"Ahh don't mention it. Though I'm a little surprised you didn't allow me to kill any of them yet."

"And shorten their punishment, Ancients No, They won't be allowed an easy out just yet." He said as he made his way back to his throne.

"Well, you really are going through with this. I remember little you not having the stomach for something like this." They stopped, Taking a good look at the young Mornach. "You've Change Litlle Me"

-Danny-

"You've Change Litlle Me"

And wasn't that the truth. Looking at his once Evil Future self Danny couldn't help but rember what happened.

A while ago Dan had escaped and had been hell-bent on settling

the score with him and their fight was not like the last one at all.

Dan had proved that had he taken things seriously the first time they fought He would have won with relative ease.

He won but he had won, but with everything that happened and kept happening he wasn't in the right place, head-wise, and just let everything out.

Surprisingly, Dan had been the one to help him out after their fight and they just clicked. Well, they were still somewhat the same person.

Danny leaned back against his throne, the cold metal pressing into his spine as his mind raced. The sheer scale of what he now held was almost overwhelming—the entire GIW database, from their mundane daily operations to their darkest, most hidden secrets. Every experiment, every weapon, every shadowy supporter who had funded their atrocities—it was all there, laid bare before him.

He flexed his fingers, allowing the cold energy to swirl around them, the sensation grounding him. "We hit them hard," he said, his voice steady but laced with determination. "No mercy. No hesitation."

Dan shrugged their casual demeanor a stark contrast to the gravity of the moment. "Sounds like a party. What about your human entourage? Are they still poking around, asking questions?"

Danny exhaled sharply, a faint smirk tugging at his lips. "Jazz and Val will handle them. Dani too. They'll keep the students in check."

Dan tilted their head, smirk widening. "And if they get in the way?"

Danny's gaze flickered, but there was no hesitation in his voice. "They won't. They know what's at stake."

Chuckling, He straightened himself, brushing imaginary dust off his cloak. "You've got it all figured out, huh? Well, don't forget to save some fun for the rest of us."

Danny's smirk deepened, a moment of levity breaking through his intensity. "Don't worry. When this is over, you'll have more than enough to brag about."

-Jazz-

After Danny had bolted from the Arena, the other fights may have continued due to lack of situational awareness but the humans hadn't missed his absence.

The ghosts had brushed it off as their usual Kings matter but she had seen Sam go down during her fight with a pained expression even when she was winning.

Thankfully, After her little brother left no one had tried anything and the hyped tournaments had just passed by in a buzz for her.

She had tried to reach out to Danny but he wasn't answering and it was becoming a little tense for her.

The moment the tournament ended. She, Val, and Dani had rushed everyone back to the castle and to their rooms. As they tried to find out what was going on.

Her phone buzzed, the sound sharp and intrusive in the quiet of her room. The screen lit up with a single name: Danny.

Jazz didn't hesitate. She answered immediately, her voice calm but firm. "Danny. What's going on?"

"Everything's in place," he said, his voice steady and confident. There was no hesitation, no doubt—just the quiet determination she had come to expect from him.

And with that, She knew what he meant, He would no longer be sitting back.

Now he was going to destroy everything.

Jazz leaned back against her desk, her expression thoughtful. "Good. You've got everything you need?"

"Everything," Danny confirmed. "The whole database. Their experiments, their weapons, their supporters. It's all here."

Jazz nodded, a small, satisfied smile playing on her lips. "Then it's time."

"It's time," Danny echoed, his voice hardening. "They're going to burn, Jazz. Every last one of them."

There was no fear in Jazz's heart, no hesitation. She had seen the atrocities the GIW had committed, the lives they had destroyed. If anyone deserved to face justice—or vengeance—it was them. "Make them pay," she said simply.

The call ended, and Jazz set her phone down, her mind already racing with the next steps. She wasn't scared of what Danny was about to do. She trusted him—not just as her brother, but as the leader he had become. This wasn't the reckless boy who had stumbled into his powers all those years ago. This was someone who had grown, who had learned, who had been forged in the fires of countless battles.

And she knew, without a doubt, that he would see this through.
