Born as Gojo Satoru Cousin

Chapter 290: The Robbery at the Restaurant

"Mhm..."

Eiji woke up from his sleep because of a dream.

He reached out to grab his phone on the table, the screen showing 1:20 a.m.

"The sun hasn't even risen yet, but... I can't go back to sleep in a state like this."

Putting his phone back on the table, Eiji lifted his blanket. Instantly, the smell of ammonia filled the air, and his pants around his groin looked wet.

He'd just had a wet dream!

Eiji considered masturbation a lowly act done only by losers who couldn't control their desires. As such, he had never done it in his life. As a result, he occasionally experienced wet dreams—a natural physiological reaction from the buildup of sperm in his testes.

"This time I dreamed of Yotsuba-san… She's about to get married soon! Could it be that before losing my memory, I enjoyed NTR'ing other men? No, I'm not that kind of person."

Thinking that he might be a jerk with a habit of stealing others' women, Eiji dismissed the idea.

"It was just a coincidence, that's all. Besides, Nino-san and Miku-san are usually the ones I dream about."

Convincing himself, he stopped thinking about whether he liked NTR or not. Even if he did, he'd be the one doing it, not the victim.

Getting up from the bed, Eiji took the stained bedsheet and headed to the bathroom.

He put his underwear, pants, and bedsheet in the washing machine, then started to shower himself.

Cold water from the shower drenched his perfectly toned body, with not an ounce of fat, and his abs were well-defined from his training. Unfortunately, countless scars across his body made him look a bit unsightly.

"No normal person would have this many scars. What kind of past did I have for my body to end up covered in scars?"

"Could it be that I was a human experiment secretly developed by an advanced nation's research center? In a world without superpowers or supernatural elements, that's the only reasonable explanation for my inhuman strength."

Of course, this was only Eiji's speculation, with no proof to back it up.

After all, if he truly were a test subject, it would be impossible for no one to come after him once he escaped.

"Sigh... There's no use guessing."

Letting go of this frustrating topic, Eiji finished his shower quickly.

Wrapping a towel around his waist, he used the drying function on the washing machine. He wouldn't let Nino or Miku know he'd had a wet dream.

So, he wouldn't leave any evidence behind!

"Hm? Someone's here?"

His eyebrows furrowed as Eiji heard a noise in the restaurant.

"Could it be a thief?"

He didn't have X-ray vision, so he had no choice but to check the situation in person.

Even if there was a thief, he wasn't afraid to confront him.

His subconscious told him that no human on this planet could pose a threat to him.

Silently walking, Eiji peeked from behind the wall.

'It really is a thief. Judging from his large frame, he's not Japanese.'

Due to Japan's declining birthrate, many foreigners had come to Japan for vacations or work.

Among these newcomers, not everyone was good; there were troublemakers as well.

Eiji had encountered foreigners causing problems in Japan more than once. From dozens of Indonesians forming a gang and gathering in the streets with machetes, to American content creators dancing in train cars, disturbing the locals.

Even though Japan is known for its low crime rate, this is mainly due to the Japanese people's discipline and strong sense of shame. Now, with more people coming from various countries, it's no surprise that crime cases have started appearing in Japan.

'Should I call the police first or take down the thief myself?' Eiji was in a dilemma.

To be honest, he didn't want to deal with the police, as it would be bothersome. Besides, he didn't have a valid identity.

"Shit, there's so much money here! With this, I can have fun in Kabukicho to my heart's content! Initially, I didn't expect much from this shabby restaurant. Turns out I'm getting way more money than that poor ramen shop!"

"..."

Eiji could understand what the thief said, even though it was in Mexican Spanish. Before he decided what to do, the thief's next words made him pass a death sentence on the man.

"By the way, the twin sisters working at this restaurant are pretty hot. It's decided: after the restaurant closes, I'm going to break them until they're ruined, while I make that pretty boy watch them get violated! Haha, I'm a genius!"

"Japanese police are so useless. They patrol on bicycles; it's easy for me to predict their routes."

The thief was unaware that his vile intentions had just hastened his meeting with the grim reaper.

*TAP* *TAP* *TAP*

The sound of footsteps echoed clearly in the room. The thief immediately went on guard, pulling out a folding knife.

Seeing only one person coming, the thief felt relieved.

"Brat, you should have hidden instead of showing up in front of me, you idiot. Since you've seen me, I can't let you live."

"Is that your last word?"

Faced with a knife pointed at him, Eiji's face didn't change, and his voice remained indifferent.

"Motherfucker! I'll kill you! Die!"

The thief had a bad temper. A little provocation, and he was already fuming.

Then, he thrust his knife at Eiji's neck, aiming to kill him with one strike. Seeing that Eiji didn't move to dodge, he thought the young man was too scared to even budge.

*WHOOSH*

In his eyes, the thief's movement was sluggish and full of openings. That's why Eiji didn't bother dodging; he simply pinched the knife between his fingers.

"What?!"

The thief's eyes widened in shock. He didn't expect to see a scene straight out of a movie happen in real life.

He tried pulling the knife back, but no matter how hard he tried, it wouldn't budge.

"Fuck you! I'll—"

*SLAP*

Before he could finish his curse, Eiji slapped him, causing the thief to suffer a mild concussion.

*BAM*

The thief's body fell to the floor, eyes rolled back.

"Now, how should I handle him without leaving any evidence?"

After a moment of thought, Eiji came up with an idea to dispose of the man without implicating himself.

"It's your own fault. If you'd only stolen money, you might have spent a few years in jail or been deported. But since you had such vile thoughts about Nino-san and Miku-san, it's time for you to say goodbye to this world."

Without a trace of sympathy or empathy, Eiji began implementing his plan.
