Chapter 216: Chapter 215
"Is this seriously the best you can do...?" asked a remarkably tall and full-figured woman with pale brown skin, silvery-white hair that extended to the ground, and curved, obsidian-black horns protruding from the sides of her head, angled downward and with turquoise ribbons wrapped around them. She also had glowing pink eyes with thin slits for pupils, flat skulls from the side of her head, and her body was garbed in an outfit evocative of an exotic dancer and a priestess, consisting of a scant, bone-white top adorned with various gemstones and black-and-gold trim, a wispy shawl that flickered like turquoise flames, an ornate, bone-white loincloth with a golden ornament resembling a woman's reproductive organs, a single torn black stocking, and flat-soled shoes fashioned from glossy-black leather and gold and made to resemble the rib cage of an animal.
Putting more force into the foot she had on Izuku's head, causing cracks to appear in the non-existent ground, the exotic beauty added, "I thought you would be extraordinary since you originated from another world and were chosen to represent this one as its Champion, but your soul is just a mishmash of fragmented human Egos. Without the powers that have been given to you, you're just some guy..."
"..."
As he couldn't exactly speak with his face half-buried in the ground, Izuku responded to the overbearing humanoid Dragoness, Fediel, by unleashing Blackwhip from his back and body like spikes. Several struck and pierced her body, including the vertebrae in her neck, but she just smiled, staring down at him with her head dangling limply as she remarked, "I represent the concept of Death in our world. My time will come, but not so long as a single living creature remains, awaiting my embrace."
Grabbing one of Izuku's Blackwhip tendrils, Fediel pulled him from the ground, spun him around over her head, and attempted to slam him down, but he severed the tendrils before she could, allowing him to create a bit of distance between them. He was beyond pissed at Fediel's treatment of him, but there was a fierce grin on his face as he shouted, "And where did you receive that power!? Even if you were born with it, it was the result of someone else's will or design! Criticizing others for powers they've-"
Interrupting Izuku's words by materializing in the direction he had turned, his face sinking into her colossal bosom, Fediel wrapped her arms around him surprisingly gently as she mused, "You're mistaken. If anything, I find the similarities you share with the people of this world refreshing. I feared we had erred when we created you all those years ago, but if the concept of humanity exists elsewhere, it suggests your existence is the result of a providence far greater than Life and Death..."
Though his initial instincts were to break free or launch an attack, Izuku found himself unable to move within Fediel's paradoxically bone-chilling yet comfortable embrace. It was like all the heat had been removed from his body, leaving him limp and ostensibly lifeless as she closed her eyes and held him like a mother might her child.
Fortunately, just as Izuku felt like his thoughts were beginning to slip away, Fediel released him, staring down at him with a gentle smile and hands on his shoulders as she stated, "Still, you're way too weak. If you were to venture to Aekinkaiados in your current state, you'd only be able to survive if someone took you in as a pet. I'm not sure how anyone can reasonably expect you to safeguard an entire world..."
Regaining his senses, Izuku, now completely healed, raised his right brow and repeated, "Aekinkaiados...?" in a questioning tone.
Realizing Izuku had no idea what she was talking about, Fediel blinked in surprise before scratching her head, frowning in discomfort, and groaning, "I'm not the best at explaining things, but here goes...Aekinkaiados is kind of like the larval form of Telania. Back then, the world was a planar reality, disconnected from the larger cosmos. Telania hadn't fully awakened, so it was a dream-like realm of perpetual change and chaos..."
Seemingly getting annoyed, Fediel furrowed her brows and supplanted, "Anyways, you should ask Wamdus or that busybody Wilnas if you want more information. My job is to harvest souls and cleanse the energy that forms their Egos so they can eventually be born anew. I'm also charged with 'maintaining' that cycle, so I suppose I should grant you a bit of my power to combat those that would encroach upon our demesne..."
Taking advantage of the fact that Izuku was eye-level with her breasts, Fediel gently caressed his head, remarking, "The only issue is, you aren't compatible with my or anyone else's power. Your Ego is fragmented into ten distinct pieces, creating a structure that is greater than the sum of its parts but at risk of fracturing. I could 'purify' them for you, but there isn't enough of your original Ego to serve as the foundation for a new being. In the worst case scenario, you'd lose your sense of identity and your sanity as a whole..."
Grabbing the sides of Izuku's face and inspecting him, Fediel added, "I'm guessing that's why Wamdus did something as ludicrous as impregnating you with a seed from the phylogenic tree. Or maybe she believes you can become a beacon or nexus point, funneling souls from your original world into ours? It's impossible to know what that old hag is thinking..."
Loosening her vice-like grip on Izuku's head, Fediel shrugged and said, "Well, considering she's one of the Lords of Order, her decision should be in the best interest of this world. But it 'does' give me an interesting idea. Since you're incompatible with my power, we can just make someone who is."
Punctuating her statement, Fediel undid the clasp of the reproduction-themed accessory adorning her lower abdomen, revealing a dark purple, vaguely heart-shaped crotch tattoo that presumably denoted the location of her cervix and ovaries. Her power and authority were over the concept of Death, but for an organism to be set upon the path of its inevitable end, it must first be conceived. As such, while her principal domain was Death, Fediel was also the archetypal Goddess of Fertility.
Staring down at Fediel's immaculate, completely hairless slit, situated between remarkably plump and tantalizing thighs, Izuku felt his throat tighten. He knew from his previous encounter with Wamdus that refusal wasn't an option, but he was at least a little reluctant to sire a Demigod who would invariably come to preside over Death...
Suggesting she could read his thoughts, Fediel created what looked like an altar formed from obsidian bones, sitting and leaning back on it as she mused, "All who live resist dying, but try as they might, none can escape when Death comes for them. But please, feel free to run...I quite enjoy the chase..."
Instead of running, Izuku stepped forward, propping up Fediel's nearly hundred-kilogram legs as he asked, "Isn't this your spirit form? Can you even get pregnant...?"
"Let's find out," Fediel replied, effortlessly liberating her legs from Izuku's hold, hooking them around his waist, and forcefully drawing him forward as she narrowed her glistening pink eyes and teased, "Let's hope for your sake that I can. If not, I'll have to send someone to retrieve and bring you to my true body. If that happens, I may keep and have you sire hundreds of brood..."
"Exactly how many children do you have...?" asked Izuku, willing away his pants and sinking his cock into Fediel's freezing but somehow stimulating pussy. It writhed around him like a living creature, and the suction was so intense that Izuku was drawn forward, permitting Fediel to lock her ankles together, fixing him in place.
Following a deep-throated, distinctly echoing chuckle, Fediel met Izuku's gaze, narrowing her eyes and grinning like an apex predator as she asked, "Do you recall how many breaths you've taken? Now, I highly suggest you start moving and with gusto. If I have to take matters into my own hands, you could die or end up crippled. I'm not exactly known for my restraint..."
Understanding that Fediel wasn't joking, Izuku activated [Pump Up] and channeled the power of One-for-All through his body, increasing his size to be more compatible with the 209cm(6'10'') Dragoness. He felt he had erred when he noticed Fediel's draconic pupils contract and her predatory smile become more prominent, but since he knew there was no escaping, Izuku decided to go all out, tearing away the cloth covering her massive tits, suckling her nipples and making love to her as if his life depended on it...

Waking to absolute darkness, Izuku channeled the power of One-for-All through his body to amplify his Vitality, kicking his stacking regenerative Perks into overdrive. He felt a presence next to him and heard the hum of a familiar voice but was momentarily unable to make out what they were saying until he tore away the bandages encompassing his entire head and pulled out the respirator supplying air to his lungs.
"You have the tenacity of a cockroach..." remarked Kaina, gazing at Izuku with an ostensibly neutral deadpan but with notable bags under her eyes. She had been watching over him the entire time he was in a coma, so she hadn't slept for the better part of six days. Even with [Healthy Body] and the mental fortitude of a veteran sniper, she was nearing her limit.
"Lucky you..." Izuku jokingly quipped, simultaneously reaching up to wipe away what looked like glassy flakes of charcoal from his face. Rubbing the substance between his index finger and thumb produced a fine ash that promptly vanished, so he assumed it was similar to the 'mud' produced by Toga's Quirk, an inert state of Mana that had lost its capacity to hold what Melissa and several other researchers had dubbed elementary magicules, sub-atomic particles similar to photons that could emulate other particles and even produce mass.
Seemingly ignoring Izuku's comment, Kaina grabbed the lukewarm coffee she had been nursing, taking a long, intentionally loud sip before lowering the cup from her lips and asking, "So, what happened? We assumed it had something to do with the Black Dragon, but when Lemillion went to speak with her, she hit him with an attack that temporarily turned him into an old man and sent him flying halfway across the breach."
Shaking his head, Izuku replied, "We can discuss it in detail on the plane or after we reach Japan. I assume I've been quarantined, but that doesn't mean there aren't prying eyes or ears around..."
Extending Blackwhip like a needle from his left index finger, Izuku pierced the body of a seemingly innocuous, ladybug-like insect that was eliciting a reaction from his Danger Sense. Quirks such as Entomopathy, the ability to communicate with and control insects, were fairly common among the military and intelligence organizations. After all, for every insect you could see, it wasn't a gross overstatement to say there were thirty you couldn't. As such, they were one of the most effective, non-technological methods of gathering intel without garnering suspicion...
Witnessing Izuku's actions, Kaina offered an affirming nod before rising to her feet and stating, "I'll see if I can't find a sponge and a bucket of water for you to clean your face and body. While I'm at it, should I report to that woman from the WHA that you're awake?"
"It would expedite our departure, so go ahead..." replied Izuku. Then, as he felt like his entire body was one gigantic bruise, he closed his eyes and tried to relax. His Intuition gave him the impression that something may or may not happen in the near future, so before it did, he wanted to rest and recover as much as he could...

Corresponding with the activation of Izuku's [Intuition], a small, barefoot figure garbed in a tattered robe, seemingly formed from light-consuming darkness, approached the encampment surrounding the breach's vortex-like entrance. A pair of heavily armed sentries spotted it, but the moment they raised their guns with the intent of shouting for it to identify itself, a metallic *sheen* reverberated through the air as their heads were lopped off. One died instantly, but his partner's synapses continued to fire for a few seconds longer, their eyes wide and expression fixed in horror as the last thing they saw was moon-like golden eyes and a borderline crescent smile, too large for the child-like face it belonged to...much like the scythe in their hands...
